      Over the years country cakes have made all of our celebration cakes. My daughters recent birthday cake was fabulous. It was made to order from a photo we supplied them with. The service is wonderful too. Thank you country cakes for another outstanding creation. Delicious too!

      Ordered a cake from them while I wasn’t thrilled that one of their more interesting mudcakes (mars) wasn’t available I ordered a cake anyway and it turned out fantastic. The service was also amazing with the server giving me advice via storage etc for the cake I got. There was also a great range of bakery goods. Overall I would buy from here again.

      The staff are great here, and there’s a wide range of treats to choose from. Their pies are nice, as is the apple custard doughnut. Drive through is very convenient on a lousy winter day in Ballarat! On another visit I had an apple slice. It wasn’t the best one I’ve ever had, for sure, but the wonderful service makes up for any other shortcomings. I ordered a babycino for my dog and they made sure it was safe for him, ensuring there was no chocolate in it.

      I’ve come here a few times now to grab a pie and a dessert. Each time has been consistent and good. The prices are really spot on too. They’re always super friendly and the place is always pumpin’. They also serve lactose free milk which is appreciated!

      Excellent customers service I must said! The staffs was very attentive. Choco lava cake is little bit of a wait, because is cook when ordered but definitely worth it. Ice cream was standard. But the desserts are super! Brookie is the one with black pot. Half cookie and half brownies is awesome combination. It gives you a different sensations with the cold and hot combination. Would definitely go back to try out drinks and other items.

      We enjoyed dinner at ParisiAnn last night. It was only their 2nd time opening for dinner service but they are doing a great job creating a small bistro feel. We tried everything on the menu and it was all good. Mark and Annie were delightful hosts and have put together a lovely experience.       An alternative to the Asian cuisine across the road at the markets. Eggs as well as toasties, pies, sausage rolls and plenty of bakery treats. There is also ice cream in a cone available to satisfy the kids or kids in us all. Good service, ok coffee and plenty of cold drinks.

      I had a chicken, cheese and white sauce pie – lots of big chunks of chicken and plenty of filling,and the pastry is crunchy. Also tried a choux pastry, chocolate slice and miso vanilla cake. All where fabulous. While they are not the cheapest in town, they are worth every cent! We were surprised to be the only ones eating in. Staff are friendly and polite. We will be back!

      Have been wanting to visit for ages and despite being late into the day it was worth it! The focaccia sandwiches were gorgeous, one of the best focaccias I’ve had, with plenty of simple, delicious filling. The cakes were lovely, travelled well back to Sydney! Will have to visit earlier to sample the full range. Lovely, friendly staff who were very attentive. Worth the wait! And the trip!

      Music has been light but amazing. Reuben was tasty but needs more meat. Soy cappuccino was perfect. Amazing little spit with huge bay windows, perfect to warm up in the sunshine. Service was casual and staff looked relaxed while actively cleaning and prepping for the day.

      Ordered a Raspberry Birthday cake. Looked at the reviews before hand and thought for $75 this cake must be awesome. In short it was not. Dense and seemed like it was frozen in parts. Inconsistent in density around the cake. Also spelled the name wrong on the cake, that was more a nice laughing point for us. The young man who served me was polite. The issues were only noticed upon opening at home.

      More concerned on the very inconsistent dense cake that appeared to be frozen in part and no way tasted like it was freshly made. I won’t be going back.

      Good coffee. Dad and I get burgers, and other foods from here regularly. The Burgers are cheaper than McDonald’s next door and also taste like a home family BBQ. Pies have chunks of meat and beautiful crispy golden brown pastry. The pies and sausage rolls from bakery’s food choice often gets sold out. Girls are always polite and hard working along side owner.

      I had ordered on Uber Eats and I’ve never tried this place before. Originally ordered a peach and mango iced tea, but they called me up and said that they ran out so I chose a different one. I appreciate it so much that they called me in advance to make the switch, don’t know who that was but thank you so much! The iced tea was really really nice! Also the food was absolutely phenomenal, hashbrowns are amazing, the sourdough bread tasted like it was dipped in butter, bacon was beautifully cooked and the scrambled eggs made it all better.       Brought family here and it was so worth it. Beautiful decor and the smell of fresh coffee and delicious food as you walk in the door. I had the smiling Buddah bowl with a poached egg it was delicious fresh beautiful zesty dressing. The coffee was delicious they use my favourite milk Milk Lab. Staff were very friendly and accommodating Will definitely be returning.

      Great little place to eat. Probably used by locals more than tourists. SO….take a step back from the promenade and enjoy it. I keep saying service is slow….its just different from home(Scotland). You’re on holiday. Get used to chilling. Staff very helpful and food lovely. Especially the French Toast Bites….to die for…….

      I had breakfast here after a long hike, took the Green Goddess and it was absolutely the best avocado toast I have had in a long time. With the almond dukkah it gets such a nice, suprising taste.

      Would definitely recommend!!
