      Best experience with Rainbow Cakes Geelong. I ordered rainbow themed vanilla cupcakes with 24hrs notice. Easy ordering via text message. Excellent communication and responds quickly.       Overall this would be an average patisserie for Sydney – yet Sydney prices in Tasmania which seems too high relative to other establishments here which hold a lower price point backed by quality. I was rather disappointed that the cream fillings seemingly weren’t real cream or at least did not taste as such.

      Apple Strudel: [7.610] good crispy and hot filo pastry, not too sweet, spiced apple filling was nice.

      Hazelnut dacquiose: [4/10], the cookie layer was nice but the cream seemed fake – Not a rich dairy cream, not sure why this would be the case, otherwise sugar heavy and lacking depth. The $12.95 price is unjustified for half the dish (the cream) failing to meet basic standards of a premium-priced item.

      Raspberry crunch: [6.5/10] average rich caramel dessert, the raspberry layer had a bit of acidity to cut through and a distinct flavour which was pleasant.

      Was recommended this place by my aunt and the food was delish. We ordered the chicken & creamed leek pie, coddled eggs, smoked ham & cheese croissant and a beef & onion burek. The service was superb and I would have loved to order their pastries if I wasn’t so stuffed after our meal. The location is conveniently near Salamanca Place.

      The sweetest place to visit, full of sweet people and even sweeter delicacies. I had the brownie cookie with peanut butter filling … wow! I almost died. It was incredible. I wanted to order 6 to go, but had to restrain myself. There are other great looking options, and the whole underground decor is really funky. Open late for a lovely evening sweet snack experience!       This was a great little discovery hidden down Globe Lane… felt like stepping into a genuine European bake house! There’s always a very tempting array of amazing cakes… my personal fave is the decadent Espresso Butter, Almond Chocolate Roulade!??

      These cakes are all bought by weight… so you choose just how big a slice you really want!?

      If you’re there while they’re actually making a Kurtosh, the smell of baking is so amazing that you’ll be ordering one for yourself… just be patient as it takes around 10-12 minutes!

      FYI… a Kurtosh is a traditional Hungarian bready pastry known as Chimney Cake. Boasting the perfect harmony of caramelised crispy flaky outer with soft inner walls, usually rolled in cinnamon sugar, nuts etc. The cylindrical yeast pastry is often sold as street snacks from carts all over Hungary.

      So… seek them out and enjoy the tasty treats!?

      Loved the vibe inside. The cakes are amazing. Lovely coffee. Only thing that annoyed me was one of the staff members seemed like he didn’t want to be there and didn’t ask us if we wanted takeaway or mugs or what size. Also seemed understaffed as there were heaps of mugs and plates on each table and we had to remove it ourselves. Besides that I had a wonderful time there and I’d definitely go back. Great place for a date

      I had a lovely first experience with Cakes by Kyla. I ordered a simple gift box but they looked amazing! And all the guests said they looked and tasted great!

      I also had a bit of a personal blunder with my order. Thankfully, Kyla was understanding and did everything she could to help me with my mistake. Everything turned out great in the end.

      I recently ordered a custom cake f I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. I had high hopes for a delightful cake to celebrate a special occasion, but unfortunately, my expectations were not met in any way.the most concerning issue was the absence of the cut-out boy head on the cake.

      What added to my disappointment was the owner’s response when I expressed my concerns. He claimed that the mistake was on our end for accepting the cake. This response was both unprofessional and unsympathetic to the situation. I would never return to the shop again..Please be careful when ordering especially custom cake

      I had a disappointing experience with Continatal Cake Shop recently. I ordered a cake from them twice, and both times there were issues with the decoration. The first time, the cake was missing beads in the decorative design, and the second time, the head of a person on the cake was poorly done. What’s even more frustrating is that when we brought this to their attention, the staff was unprofessional and blamed us for their mistakes.

      It’s clear that the quality of their cakes and the professionalism of their service have declined in the last 2-3 years since the business was passed down to the next generation. It’s a shame to see a once-reliable cake shop go downhill like this. I won’t be ordering from Continatal Cake Shop again, and I would caution others to think twice before doing so as well.

      I will update photos with cakes in next few days.

      Update : expected vs received for 1st cake. The strings decorations accoss the face missing apart from other noticeable differences. Also that number 1 is added by us along with other top up on top of cake.

      I went in and asked for a special request for my sister’s 17th birthday cake. I emailed them with the writing I wanted and the cake type. They did an absolutely fantastic job!!!! With only little time they had. I highly recommend this place!

      Very bad experience with the customer service, I ordered cake for my baby’s second birthday and set a pick up time at 3 pm and already paid some advance amount. When my brother went there for the pickup they don’t know the order and they said they will deliver around 5 pm to my location. They delivered the cake around 5:30 pm and we were waiting for the cake. They delivered but the difference design as I ordered. Really feeling very disappointed. Ordered first one received second one.

      Ordered a birthday cake for my wife it could not be cut it was hard as a rock and crumbled when attempting to cut the cake. 3 people out of 35 ate a piece of cake and it was dry.       Karma Cupcakes are simply amazing. We had a 20th anniversary BBQ for our building and Mark made a mixture of all different cupcakes and then he put our logo on them.

      They were a smash hit.

      We called Mark and spoke about a 21st birthday cake idea for our daughters party. Mark suggested a small cake on top of a cupcake tower and 60 cupcakes below. Our daughters favourite flower is the sunflower so he made little sunflowers for every cupcake and on the main cake. The end product was fabulous and looked amazing, better than we could have imagined. The cake and cupcakes tasted devine and everyone at the party commented how delicious they were. This is the 2nd time we have use Mark and Karma Cupcakes and it definatley won’t be the last. We would highly recommend Karma to everybody.       Ordered a birthday cake at one day’s notice, (make sure you phone Mark after online ordering to ensure your choice can be made quickly if short notice) it was an 8 inch with sugar ribbon icing with butterflies and flowers and looked perfect for the occasion. Inside it was red velvet and cheese cake – yum!!!!. Mark’s service was exceptional as was the presentation of his design and the cake itself was delicious. Highly recommended Karma Cupcakes, always.

      We chose Karma Cupcakes for our wedding cake. The cake was extremely delicious and looked so good! Mark’s idea to show bride and groom as koala and kangaroo was such a great idea we all loved.

      What a delightful cafe! we had a beautiful breakfast this gorgeous morning egg’s Benedict, and my husband had poached eggs on sour dough with 2 cappuccinos loved every minute.

      I must say, the customer service here was wonderful, had a nice chat with the barista Luca who made one of the best iced lattes I’ve had, the food was really good definitely will be coming back!

      Friendly customer service, fresh delicious food that I cannot fault. Ordered a gluten-free toast with mushroom. I can’t remember what it was called but check out the photo below. Go check out this place for yourself. Perfect place for a weekend breakfast/ brunch or a lazy lunch or even an afternoon tea.
