      YMCA East Cannington has been the most wonderful daycare for all three of my children since 2014 to now. I have managed to study as a nurse with a FIFO husband and then managing shift work due to YMCA being easily available when required.
      I take solace in the fact, some educators are still there from when I had my first child at the centre 10 years ago.

      Communication with staff is great, always kept in the loop with new activities, great selection of food for the children and the natural play area I just love with established trees, plants and the wonderful assortment of activities the children can be immersed in. Thank you YMCA for all that you’ve provided to our family.

      My daughter has been with YMCA since 17 months ( currents she’s 4) we’ve had a wonderful experience. They staff are brilliant, with very low turn over.
      We love the homey feel and the connection they have with each child.

      We’ve had our daughter here (mostly one day a week) for a year, leading up to her starting kindy, and are very happy with the care she has received. The carers really make an effort to know the individual kids and their strengths, interests, and challenges. They’ve been very accomodating, responsive and supportive. Thank you Bev, Sarah, Polly, Marisa, Pradyna and all the other caring staff at The Y East Cannington!

      We received an email earlier this week (sent after office hours) informing us that they are closing the Family Day Care services from 31st May. Without any consultation with families that engage in the services and also the educators themselves, they have made an executive decision based on their current business planning for future development of the Y (supposedly to be a NON-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION that services the community!). We have relied upon the Y Family Day Care since returning to work 12 months ago following maternity leave after our second son. We find our educator suited very well to our children’s need and our busy family schedule with shift works being health care professional ourselves. the Y should declare their interest in making profits from business plans if that is their current philosophy, rather than trying to hide under the pretence of providing “opportunities for children, young people and the community to grow in body, mind and spirit”. We are very disappointed and upset with this decision as it affects our family greatly and it is a reflection on how the organisation is driven by greed and power, not one for the benefit of the children at all.

      The Front Desk at YMCA, Penrith have to be trained to speak to customers appropriately,. * also they have a age limit at the Play area mentioned as 2 to 6yrs and there were 12 or 13 yr old boys being playing and rough, as our 5yr old daughter got scared to step into the play area.

      When informed this to the front staff, they were very rude and ignorant.

      This is a very poor quality behaviour on their behalf.

      They need to improve their behaviour.

      It all starts well but soon you realise your input and concerns mean nothing. It’s all about the money and not the kids happiness. They do the whole PR thing with the token customer service lines, but it’s all fake.

      YMCA is great for the family. My daughter does gymnastics there. Most of the casual classes suffer thanks to the more advanced classes get to use most of the equipment before any others. Seating needs to be improved as watching your child can be very hard as the vision is blocked by equipment. Great for parties. Rock climbing and a gym there makes it a little better.

      Fuel was cheap. The entry is very inconvenient. The curb is so high, I almost dropped my bike after hitting the bottom on it. Hopefully not damaged. Won’t go there again!

      Fuel was cheap. The entry is very inconvenient. The curb is so high, I almost dropped my bike after hitting the bottom on it. Hopefully not damaged. Won’t go there again!

      This restaurant was suggested to me by a local guy whom I’m thankful for.. ?
      – Great location…
      – excellent staff – always smiling and welcoming
      – delicious food.. must try Goat Curry ? The pot in which the goat curry was served should be a bit bigger so that the food doesn’t fall while serving to your dish..
      – the plain wholemeal roti was good too..
      – rates are not bad..
      – 4-5 parking lots reserved just next to this restaurant… Otherwise free street parking is available..
      – toilets are clean..
      – The whole restaurant is kept pretty clean and presentable
      Highly recommend if you’re around Whyalla..

      I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a friendly and good place to have a Indian food. I’ll be back for sure. The prices are fair for the quality and services. I ordered Mater Panner ,Paratha Naan and the Lassi for dessert.
      The staff was lovely and greeting me with a smile.

      A very friendly atmosphere with friendly service. The food was excellent. But the fish was outstanding. Unique and flavoursome right down to the last drop. It was a pleasure to meet all the staff and to greet them for the wonderful meal they prepared. Guru and his staff worked as a wonderful team, highlighting their warm and friendly service and took time to introduce their menu. Thank you for the wonderful dinner. ?

      My husband and I love Indian food. After living for a decade in Dubai with lots of good Indian restaurants, we miss having the real Indian food. This restaurant definitely worth to visit. A nice colorful ambience.

      Amazing! The restaurant interior is stunning. I did the non vegetarian dinner with wine pairing and every dish was equally beautiful and delicious. This is one of the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had . I highly recommend!

      Convenient small rest area just off the highway. Easy to negotiate on and off ramp access. Picnic style tables and shelter, small toilet. Close to the highway so road noise is an issue. OK for a short stop.

      Good place to pull over and have a rest. Servo was under construction the day I visited this place. But you can still fuel up your car. There was also fresh fruit seller. He had good fruit boxes.
