      Big thank you to the young Maeve who did my colour today. I’m super precious about my hair (we’ve all had horror stories) so it’s really nerve racking going to a new salon. I’m new to Ballarat so needed to find a new hairdresser. I am very particular about my colour and I wanted to say that I am SO HAPPY with the colour and condition of my hair after my appointment today. I will absolutely be returning to see Maeve for my 6 weekly touch ups. Thank you Maeve xx

      Customer service is amazing, staff are very nice. But the haircuts themselves are pretty bad and pricey if we’re being honest.

      The owner called the police to have me removed when I went in to complain about the shoddy workmanship of how my hair extensions were put in. I asked them to fix my hair and was treated like I was neurotic for complaining. There is no working phone for this business so I had to drive 40km to go there only to be removed by police when I refused to leave until my $1800 hair extensions were put in properly. The owner will not have the need to take out a restraining order and I am not a liar as she seems to tell all her customers with any issues. I will not be back. This place is dirty and they rush to get as many people through the door as possible. And when the police are called on a customer for complaining about a service rather than fixing the issue I wonder how this salon is still in business. Carla Lawson, stands by her hair, it is beautiful and exactly as promoted it’s such a pity the only place in Ballarat that provides this hair are completely unprofessional and unreasonable. Carla Lawson will be fixing my hair but I will now have to drive over 200klm to have them lifted. I highly recommend Carla Lawson hair however I do not recommend Eve Salon at all. Terrible customer service.

      Had a lovely layered haircut and blowout from Lydia !! Staff are very welcoming and ensure that the client is comfortable. Lydia asked me questions about what I specifically wanted before proceeding with the cut and was able to produce the desired look . Will be back here again !

      Ava is amazing, she takes great pride in her work and after my visit today, I left feeling glamorous with my hair, the blonde is a gorgeous and Ava giving me the choice of finishing my hair straighten or curled just made my service absolutely perfect. Thank you Ava and team for making me me feel fresh and glamorous with my new hair.

      I came in on Monday 3rd December and saw Manny for a trim and tidy up of my hair and left with almost a bob and choppy framing around the face, the cut itself is uneven in some spots and alot shorter than anticipated. Then there is Manny, who seemed more interested in up selling hair products than the actual cut itself and was fairly blunt and unhelpful. It’s really disappointing because going by the reviews he was meant to be one of the best there (I’m not sure if he was having a rough day or what) but the whole experience was just rushed and uncomfortable, to the point I didn’t feel like I could voice my concerns there and then. I waited a couple of days to see if this style would grow on me, however this has just mutilated my confidence and I will think twice before going to any hairdressers again.

      Please ask him to take more care in the future, a girls hair is important.

      Making an appointment on Lavya Hair Design’s website was very easy and Ruby gave me a fantastic, very detailed, haircut. This wasn’t just some 15-minute clipper job. Instead, Ruby spent a lot of time making sure that the cut worked with the shape of my head and exactly what I wanted. Ruby was really great and I highly recommend Lavya Hair Design at Kmart Plaza.

      The best and trustworthy hairdresser I know in Darwin region. Being one of a regular customer and fan after the first incredible service and experiences since 2020. Stunning technique makes it easy to deal with any hair trouble. Great services that always figure out the optimal and appropriate style to an individual.

      Hair stubborn and head tends flat problem have been annoying me for so long. Crystal’s marvelace cutting and shaving skill makes me better look also easy tidy of my hair. Highly recommend to everyone who have difficulty and need consultant about their hair. Making an appointment before you go is a tip to leap into the smooth service.

      Best hair shop ever in Darwin. I had straightening and treatment, cut same time. It took more then 5 hrs, she did amazing services and has wonderful skills to covered up my hair problem ( damaged hair and dryness with crazy natural curling). Now got shainy and smoothly straighted hair. I would recommend to visit here if you got any hair problem.

      Emi is honestly the best nail tech I have found across 4 states in Australia! Every single time I have been to Emi, my nails have been minimum 4 weeks between appointments (sometimes 6wks) and nothing is ever lifted or broken (unless of course I have done something stupid to get it stuck somewhere ?) Not to mention I could watch you paint nails with your art skills forever. Pretty sure everytime I leave I say that design is my favorite ?       I had my hair cut and coloured by Chris for the first time today – definitely won’t be the last 🙂 The colour is great – the best I’ve had in years. I have curly hair and Chris cut it perfectly.       Went here today after receiving a great cut from Gary on Friday, however walked out of there today with chemical burns to my entire scalp and forehead after getting my hair dyed by Sarah. This was after almost 4 hours of bleach sitting on my scalp and two rounds of highlights being applied despite me firmly saying ‘this really really hurts’ TWICE. The first time this statement was simply laughed off and she continued and the 2nd time she just went ‘yeah…’ and continued. Sarah’s English isn’t good at all and while I don’t mind this in general the fact that she didn’t understand that I was in pain despite me saying it twice and me being visibly upset is unacceptable. If you’re working with chemicals that could hurt someone as badly as they hurt me you should be able to understand when someone is in pain. Then she wanted me to come in again in a few days so she could fix up the colour she did on my hair, which had patches of yellow in the front despite me asking for silver. There was also a big blonde line on my undercut which I luckily don’t mind. A friend of mine also received a redye of her blonde which ended up looking very dead and lifeless, almost being one flat colour. Very disappointed.

      Had a worst haircut experience ever in my life. There was a guy who cut my hair and he literally didn’t know what he was doing. I saw him photo few time that I want may hair like this but he cut my hair exactly opposite. Usually other barber takes 20-30 mins to cut my hair but for the same cut he took over 1 hour and it was a very simple hair cut. I will never recommend anyone to this place where the business owner keep such an unexperienced staff to serve customers. So disappointed by the service today and it was a total waste of a time and money.
