      Ordered click and collect from rebel Miranda yesterday. Open box today to find shoes didn’t appear new. Shoelaces & shoes appeared a bit soiled plus there was what appears to be a blood stain in the heal of the left shoe and shoes have no tags attached to them. They look 2nd hand. Extremely disappointing.

      Current review: went back to rebel a few weeks ago and had an absolutely great experience since again with the staff. In years past the staff have been questionable q times with the odd good experience. Twice now in the last month service has been exceptional. Good work Rebel Miranda.

      Reviewed previously:Went on the weekend and it was absolutely packed. The service however was faultless. We were served by a guy (I think Micky) who had thick rim glasses and super short/shaved head. I have never spoken with such a knowledgeable and keen rebel staff member. He bent over backwards to try to help and gave us great advice about the shoe fit. It was clear he knew what he was talking about. The queue for the checkout was long, but the tills were fully staffed so it moved quite quickly. Impressed customer.

      I recently purchased a in ground basketball hoop, staff here were helpful and willing to make a sale. We asked for a discount hoping for at least 10% but unfortunately no one would budge. I was told to wait for Christmas Sales in the chance they may be discounted.

      This trip on the 10th Jan was to maybe buy shoes as we saw some Nike’s at a good price of $99 but unfortunately Nike do not make a shoe wide enough for my feet in my size.

      Unfortunately, they didn’t have my size in store and was told by staff they stock them in Civic shopping centre store…

      The staff are usually very helpful and this time was no different to times before.

      Edit: I have decided to EDIT my review from 3 stars to a 1 because both me and my son had huge tummy ace, diarrhea, fever and nausea after we ate here (we weren’t anywhere else and didn’t eat anything else) Won’t go back.

      Today we ate at this little restaurant. What we had: Waffle with seasonal fruit, cream and compote. And Chicken burger. Caramel milkshake. Americano coffee

      The good: It looks like a friendly warm place. The Burger was super good. 8/10 The waffle was cooked to perfection. The compote and freeze dried berries on there was amazing and complemented the dish. The cream was excellent. The milkshake’s flavor was good. The portion sizes was big and worth the price.

      The weird: Even though it’s a small menu the staff had NO idea what we were ordering. When I said americano they had no idea what it was and someone else had to come help. We 1st though the person might just be new but then the person that came to help didn’t understand when we said waffle and we had to show it to them on the menu after which they proceeded to take the menu from us, look at it and then searching the computer for it. Also the Burger. We had to actually show it to them on the menu.

      The bad: Seasonal fruit should be more than apples and bananas. But that was the only fruit on the seasonal fruit waffle. The syrup on there was clearly fake maple syrup and way to sweet. The whole dish was just so very sweet, some tart fruit would have done wonders in relieving it.

      The coffee was burned and really not good. The Milkshake was so watery I suspect it was made with milk and not ice cream? If there was ice cream in there is was minimal and very diluted with milk. The fries could have been cooked a little more. They really did need another minute.

      The bathroom: The toilet and basin was super clean but the floor of the bathroom wasn’t. It really needs a wash.

      The place itself: It has a warm welcoming atmosphere, the tables and chairs were clean. The floor wasn’t.

      Contrary to the negative comments, I had a good experience here. The staffs were very polite and service was really good. I have never had a better hot chocolate anyway else, it had the right amount of sweetness. The veggie burger and fries combo were delicious too. The ambiance was calm and quiet. Would visit again.

      I will not visit this shop again. Today my hubbie and I bought 2 skinny flat whites for $10.00, small! It tasted like water and the milk tasted fatty so was not skimmed. I had 2 sips and returned it to the 2 young girls who were talking there behind the counter.They couldn’t have cared less, so we left.mo food in cabinet,one item on each shelf. Such a shame as we used to love going there.

      What a shock! I used to be a regular customer back in 2008. This shop has not changed, not grown, not improved. It’s gone downhill. The place needs a revamp. Same decor since 2008. Place needs a paint, needs a clean, you have dust and mould on your ceiling (most likely from 2008) by the looks of it. Food? What food. No food in the display cabinet. I came in on 1/2/24 approx lunchtime. Service is as bad as your display, empty. Three staff members on and not one of them smiled or said hello or even tried to sell something more. Bad form, Gloria Jeans. Time to revamp the place and keep up with your competitors. Customer service is obsolete. Just a grotty hole in the wall at no doubt maximum rent. I ordered a small, double shot almond mocha and was charged $7.20 (that’s ridiculous). Sad to see this establishment look be this bad. Please don’t bother responding with a generic response and blame the staff members on. Perhaps corporate should spends a day in their working or should I say cleaning. Unbelievable!

      I would honestly visit over & over again just to have Reana  & Tawera serve me. The both of them greeted me with a smile and had a bit of a joke with me. Couldn’t do enough to make sure I got what I wanted in my order. And to think I was not going in here because the first time I passed by, it was busy. Thankfully, on the way past again, it wasn’t.

      I tried something different today & had an iced mocha. I also ordered the chicken & Camembert filo. I was served very quickly and received both food & drink very quickly. About 10 mins after I sat down, half a dozen people came in for coffee, so they do have regular busy times.

      All the food available is pretty standard heat & eat, so if you’re after a quick meal or something on the go, it’s a great place to try.

      Just discovered they have a rewards programme available on an app, so that’s a bonus too

      Usually very lovely and helpful staff at the Hyperdome store. Unfortunately this last visit on 31/12/23 wasn’t so nice. My husband and I ordered some drinks. I asked for an iced late but could it please be blended. It’s never ever been an issue before, however, this young girl said that it’s not possible to blend it, only the chilled drinks can be blended. This made no sense to us. I asked why they can’t blend an iced late for me and she said that she doesn’t know how, but we saw her using the blender for chiller drinks. We ordered anyway but the drinks were not nice at all. It was disappointing.

      I will not be going the Gloria Jeans at the Hyperdome again. Thismorning there was only one lady on the counter. The food in the display case was minimal and the food looked old and dry. We wanted Raisin toast as a healthier option and the store didn’t have any. Our coffees were $5 each and tastless.

      I’ve never seen a more disinterested store owner or staff at any coffee shop in my life. The store itself has no atmosphere and it just downright boring. The coffee is average at best and the food looks as uninviting as the owner. Zero stars for the banana bread which is dryer then the great sandy dessert. REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE; I’m stunned at your reply, considering I spoke with the owner expressing how bad the banana bread was and considering he was standing right in front of me as I put the banana bread into the bin! I would have thought the time to offer a refund would have been at that moment as i’m sure anyone else would. I’m not sure what’s worse, the bread and poor service or the reply and attempt to save face? Either way, after poor experiences before this particular one, I won’t be back.

      I wish there was a minus-star rating…Terrible coffee! I purchased a vanilla latte this morning and it is awful and unable to be consumed, the coffee tasted burnt and bitter, my tongue is ready to walk out of my mouth because of the foul taste…and as a coffee lover you can imagine my Disappointment..guys your machine needs a good flush….yes I’ve been a barista! There was no line and the man serving was rude, unfriendly & dismissive, either he had a big Saturday night or he just didn’t care…or both, someone didn’t want to work on a Sunday!

      What can I say ? I am a Gloria Jean’s fan. I love ❤️ a mudslide mocha with cream and sprinkles. It’s one of my small guilty pleasures whenever I am at St Mary’s Village shopping. I am just glad to have a local franchise. All good ?

      The coffee house is modern and clean you can usually get a table to sit at inside . The coffee is very good the food is very ordinary and expensive 2x coffeed and a toastie was $18 .
