      I have been taking my sisters car to this auto shop for a while now, every time we come back there is a new problem, we have paid so much money to get our car fixed and each time it is fixed for a day and then turns back to how it was before. We have spent an immense amount of money on services and they have overcharged us every time as the problem never seems to go away.

      I personally recommend this place to fix all your car needs in and around Mildura, I gave them a piece of junk sitting in Garage for 06 months and they absolutely transformed it into the very good car, with a good tuning.

      Make sure give them a plenty of time to fix it, they will go above your expectations for your car.

      I had the worst experience at this mechanic. I went there to have my car’s coolant checked and fixed as there was a leak. They charged me around a $1,000 to fix the leak and when I got the car back, they assured me that the problem was resolved. However, it was not and when I went there again to discuss the issue, they said they did their part and that this leak came from another source. $1,500 was the amount they wanted to charge me again. I will not recommend these mechanics to anyone. The older owner was extremely arrogant as well and highly unprofessional. I ultimately went to another mechanic in town where they charged me $500 to fix the issue. I never had any problems with the coolant again.

      Went here for a pink slip previously and had no problems. There were problems with my car and was informed it would be a couple months before they could work on it, I was in no rush.

      Called them a week later to find out if there was any kind of ETA as a date was not given or even a ballpark quote as no prices were given. Was informed they did not know what I was talking about and they would call me back. Did not receive a call back.

      Have heard good things from most people, but if you have a European car that needs a larger job done, go elsewhere.

      Great service at competitive prices. Very busy so don’t ring expecting to have your vehicle serviced the next day as they can be booked out up to a week in advance. If you need a rego check done they will squeeze it in for you between service jobs. Very friendly staff, highly recommended.

      My car was booked in here last Friday, and they alleged to have checked fuses, electrics, to find a central locking problem. $218 later nothing fixed so had to rebook, my husband looked at fuses and low and behold there was a fuse that needed replacing, fuse replaced and central locking was fixed. This was fed back to the company and a refund was requested, they offered a credit to pay for any future work that is required, we advised we do not trust them to do what they say they will in relation to any further work. Hence nothing else was offered, I sent them an email and guess what no response from then. I have contacted the office of fair trading and they will continue to communicate. Not happy at all with this unprofessional company.

      I went in with a diagnoses asking if they could source the part or fix he original, but titan insisted they diagnose the issue an would only tank an hour. So i received a call saying it not the ABS module and the problem was the wheel speed sencors, I said okay get a me a price.

      I get a call 3 days later “actully after more investigation meanwhile they didint have the car i did” ABS modules are common we think its that and that will be will 1500 to send away and get fixed and also charged me over $400 for thediagnoses 3.5 hours to chuck on a scan tool.

      So I ended up sending it away my self and got it fixed for half the prices an it was that.

      Great service as always.And, they never rip you off like some mechanics do. I had my daughters car serviced yesterday. The next day she was having trouble releasing the handbrake, so she couldn’t drive it and I was at work so couldn’t help her. I called and Rob kindly offered to come to her house and sort it out. He did this straight away. That’s going above a beyond. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for a service.

      First time customer, I was able to get my vehicle booked in at fairly short notice. After several test drives and engine checks however, the problem was unable to be resolved. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Ironically, the vehicle behaved itself all the way home! Typical, eh? I would recommend Southside Mechanical.

      Disappointingly, we took our vehicle in for a driveshaft replacement and some other small jobs. when making an appointment the person at the counter did not even come out to see the vehicle to look at the work to be planned and gave us an appointment a week later. so we take our vehicle on the scheduled date and he tells us that he does not have the parts because it is impossible to have them before 8 weeks. We are tourists and therefore lost a week for an oil change!!! We went to another mechanic not far away and surprisingly the parts were available 24 hours later!! If they don’t want to work, let them tell us first!!!

      I would rather give zero stars Paid for parts that were not even put in engine ie. thermostat The mechanic shredded a belt and destroyed the tensioner pulley All belts were supplied however not used or part I purchased returned to me so they kept those parts too! The receptionist River made excuse after excuse and zero accountability was taken for incorrect workmanship I booked my car in 12 days prior so they should have been able to manage putting a few parts on correctly such as the viscous fan All those mistakes created further delays and problems and cost me $$$ extra The clamp on one of the hoses essentially for the oil cooling system was removed and not replaced or was not spotted by mechanic it is located just under bottom hose that was replaced and leaking on pickup No accountability or even a refund for parts not used or returned to me? I sat waiting for 3 hours and realised River says the same thing to customers when they pick up their car Ie / the car has a few issues but we did what we could do you can book it in again or The car will need to have this done Apparently the mechanic/shoddy mechanic was in need of a mental health day! He should not have been in the workshop he is a liability Avoid at all costs or only use for a simple oil change dreadful and dishonest River could talk underwater I’m sure of that !!

      I took my car there once and I will not take it there again . My experience was a long drawn out affair over 9 months, and I was quite surprised by how dishonest and underhanded there practises are . They said they fixed my oil leak, and it was front crank seal and the sump . 1 month later when I was doing a service, I noticed the same oil leak present, (which looks like rear main ) and the sump gasket had not been touched as I was charged for . I lost several thousand dollars and still have 3 of the 4 issues I had before i took it there . Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else .

      Fantastic service and quality of work. These guys will always work to get your vehicle in and do a great job every time. Would not take my vehicles anywhere else in Dubbo.

      Great friendly staff had a service done and they checked vehicle over and did needed repairs. Dropped me off in town. You drop car off and go in queue so no set appointment times.
