      Best grocery shop in the Inner West! 10/10. The owner and staff are lovely. Today, I picked up some beautiful wild blueberries, blackberries and raspberries for only $3.99 each. ?       Friendly Grocer is a great place to shop. They have a very good selection of products, including organic and vegan food. Fresh produce is always good quality. The staff is friendly and helpful.       Hi Guys, beware of the prices charged by the owner. Yesterday i bought olive oil marked as $14.23 on shelf. When i reached the register, the girl scanned as $23.99. Luckily I saw on the register what i am being charged. I asked the owner how come its different. She said she will go and check whats the price marked on the shelves. She came back and told the little girl who was serving me to charge $15.99. I was shocked. Instead of asking for forgiveness, she charged me extra. I did not say anything, so as to not embarass the owner for $1.76 charged extra in front of so many people. This has happened to me the second time. The first time they charged me $3 extra for the yogurt. I am never going to this shop ever again. Guys, please beware of shopping in this shop. I understand its quite convenient for local people at hurlstone park, but better compromise convenience than giving hard earned extra money to these guys.

      Love The Cook Grocer, they really work hard to promote small local businesses and produce and offer so much good stuff you can’t get in normal IGA shops.       This is our local and we’re totally chuffed! Recently had a name change from IGA to The Good Grocer, it’s also had a revamp and looks fantastic!

      The fresh local produce is fab! Plenty of pre packed salads and fruit. There are also quite a few premade in house meals ready to go. I love their roast selection with a variety of roasted meats and veggies to choose from. The seafood section’s great too! There’s a lovely florist in store who is super friendly and helpful, heck there’s even a bottle shop section!

      One of my favourite things though is seeing my local all decked out at Christmas, Easter, actually any celebration! Whoever is in charge here needs to know we all just love it. The displays are great!! One year shoppers received a free full size chocolate bunny at Easter!

      Great work team, supporting local is just all too easy here! Love this Community ? Oh and don’t forget your points card for $ rewards off your future shopping BRILLIANT ✨??

      Got the sweet and sour pork and beef fried rice last night. The sweet and sour pork was not sweet and sour and the pork was mushy and little to NO MEAT! It was extremely salty and no flavour! No exaggeration.

      The fried rice was really salty too so I couldn’t give any to my children. Very disappointed with the quality of food. We have had fried rice from here before and it was super oily. This time, too salty and not so oily.

      For Chinese dishes, I’d avoid this place completely. It was out of convenience we stopped here but sadly, the last for us.

      The fish and chips was good. Fish was nicely cooked, chips soggy this time but usually pretty good.

      Good service though. Fast and efficient.

      First time I ordered the chicken was salty bit I didn’t give any feedback. This time I ordered I told them to make it less salty. I picked up my food and it was salter than before. Called the number and the staff was really rude and disrespectful. Never order from this restaurant. WORST FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I don’t know why you’re making up of what I said. When I called for placing ny order I told you that the food was saltier last time I ordered and requested to make it less salty. When I got the order it was even saltier than last time. When I called you second time I just told you that this food is even saltier than before. The response you have was unprofessional and rude. I didn’t want a refund nor did I want to come all the way to your shop and get something else. I just wanted to let you know about the quality of food you’re serving. The person answer the phone was the one who was rude and asked me to give the food back and take the money back.

      NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN AND FYI THE FOOD ENDED UP IN TRASH SADLY. Please look into the word sorry in a dictionary. I’m pretty sure it’ll be useful for you someday.

      Staff member automatically pressed EFT. I was paying cash. They went to leave the money on top of the cash drawer. So I asked for a receipt. I know the bad intent here. They seemed disappointed. They printed the receipt and gave it to me. I took it, crunched it up and gave it back to them and walked away. I didn’t need it. They were bit angry.

      They just had intention of pocketing the cash sale and not declaring the sale.

      RFG need all the help they need to protect their income stream through royalties from their FP deceit.
