Love this place! It’s filled with tourists but it doesn’t feel like you’re in a touristy shop. The prices are decent for an antique store in the middle of the city. Nice, friendly staff too! I loved looking through everything and even bought myself a little wooden turtle.

Great finds and tons of inventory. So many interesting pieces of history can be found here. The store goes on and on inside. The exterior might look small but the inside is not. I purchased a delicate item and they wrapped it and packaged it fit for travel. It was wrapped so well that I didn’t need to worry about it during transport. Great customer experience. A neat find if you can find the place among the construction of the Main Street. Parking lot is free. Did I say that correctly. Free Parking in Seattle!!! What a plus.

We stopped here before we took a cruise on a boat and Puget Sound and we’re killing some time looking at their all their antiques. It was a huge warehouse with antiques of all kinds everywhere you could look and that was pretty interesting stuff and honestly, it’s a good place just to kill some time if you’re waiting to do something down on the waterfront as well. Certainly, eye-opening to see things that grew up with now in the antique stores so that was kind of fun as well. I would say if you’re looking for a good selection of antiques in Seattle and this is probably the place to come.

really interesting store with a good mix of beauty and creepy things that will make your skin crawl. I bought a mystery bag from them for $7 and was not disappointed, i got a lot of awesome stuff! they also had mystery boxes with specific themes, like “instant oddity” “crystals” “natural history” etc for around $30 per box

I have some questions. 1. where does the money go for the racially-charged antique collection? These sorts of items should be given to black collectors or historical societies – not placed in a cabinet casually among tarot cards and antique tin cans. 2. are the specimens (especially antique ones) ethically sourced? if so, how do you manage to sell them for such low prices? pretty unheard of. 3. where does the money go for the plethora of indigenous antique items? not to mention the newly sourced materials, like feathers. this shop gave me bad vibes. employees were nice and i would like to support but need answers to these questions in order to not feel icky. thanks.

How to Shop Smart at Antique Store Seattle WA: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at an antique store can be a fun and exciting experience, but it can also be overwhelming if you are not sure what to look for. To help you navigate through the process, here are some simple guidelines to follow:

    • Research beforehand: Before visiting the antique store, take some time to research the type of items you are interested in. This will help you have a better idea of what to look for and the price range you can expect.
    • Set a budget: It’s easy to get carried away when shopping for antiques, so it’s important to set a budget beforehand. This will help you stay focused and make sure you don’t overspend.
    • Inspect the item: When you find an item that catches your eye, take the time to carefully inspect it. Look for any damages, repairs, or signs of wear. You should also check for any markings or signatures that could indicate the item’s authenticity or value.
    • Ask questions: Don’t be afraid to ask the store owner or staff questions about the item you are interested in. They can provide valuable information about its history, origin, and any other details that may affect its value.
    • Negotiate the price: In most antique stores, you have the option to negotiate the price. Don’t be afraid to make a reasonable offer, but be prepared to walk away if the price is too high. Remember, it’s always better to pay a fair price for an item you love than to overpay and later regret it.
    • Consider condition and rarity: When assessing the value of an antique, consider its condition and rarity. Items in excellent condition and those that are harder to find are often more valuable.
    • Trust your instincts: Ultimately, trust your instincts when shopping for antiques. If something feels off or doesn’t seem right, it’s best to move on and continue your search.

Shopping at an antique store can be a treasure hunt, and with these guidelines in mind, you can make the most of your experience. Happy shopping!

Store was disorganized and had a cluttered dirty floor. NOT the employees fault as he kept trying to sweep and pick up. Prices now ALL $1.25 which means a 25% price increase on all items!! Low inventory too on items I usually get. I interviewed worker who said they could not keep help. No benefits and minimum wage in an expensive city so no wonder. CORPORATE IS TO BLAME!

This is the best dollar tree in the area. The location is clean and well taken care of. Aisles were clean and nicely organized. Also, the workers there are knowledgeable of where all the things are, and they are very friendly and willing to help as much as needed. I just moved to a new apartment in this area and I needed a few things and I kept asking the same girl questions of where things were and she nicely answered every time and even showed me exactly where I could find the products I was looking for. The size of this Dollar tree is huge and they definitely had everything I was looking for, but again is huge, so the girl saved me from spending hours there (which honestly if I had time I would have loved to) but I didn’t so her kindness was highly appreciated. I am planning to come back with plenty of time and check it all to see if I can get some new things for my new apartment. The parking was also great, I had no issue finding parking pretty close to the door, which was pretty nice since the day I went there was a rainy day. This business is definitely saved on my favorites on Google Maps!

This store is in an unfortunate place, near Walmart.

This is one of the smaller stores in the area and they do a good job of keeping the inventory current.

The staff is usually friendly and overwhelmed. Like many of the franchise, the staff here have the difficult task of keeping the shelves straightened amidst disrespectful clientele.

There’s usually decent stuff here at a discount, but the service is always lacking when checking out. I usually write it off because this place is always busy and I’m sure being a cashier is hard enough, plus the haul I get is usually worth it. However today was the most egregious and bizarre experience I have had. I didn’t get her name, but the cashier was a young black woman with wavy black hair and a terrible attitude. While I was being checked out, I asked for a bag and she said no (???). I was surprised and asked her again for one (they were right next to the register) and she just laid it on top of my items then walked away. I was baffled, but was ready to leave so I started bagging my own items. A moment later, a line started behind me while I was bagging my own things and the cashier returned only to rudely tell me to “go do that at another register”. I figured when shopping I wouldn’t need to do the job of bagging my own things, let alone being spoken to so rudely. The entire interaction gave me the ick. I do love the deals at Ross, so I will be back at some point… just not when this young woman is working.

Make sure you keep your husband at home so you can buy everything here. It’s the type of store where you arrive with no list, and you somehow leave with a candle, two jackets, a box of candy, and a barbier for your nonexistent daughter. Seriously, the prices are so low and the selection is impressive so it’s easy to loose track and make impulse purchases. I have noticed the selection does tend to ebb and flow – around Christmas in particular the selection seems much fuller. Also, this Ross is a lot bigger than the one downtown. There is a parking garage, elevator, and escalator to access the store. I recommend coming here, but keep the credit card at home.

Super friendly and attentive staff unfortunately we came in to buy a luggage and they were completely out of stock. This must be a sign of the times when it comes to the ports. Hopefully they’ll be in stock soon.

It’s a decent department store and I visit it quite often. However, two things I noticed about this specific location and don’t like: a) selection is not as good as it used to be, store looks empty, and b) only two fitting rooms for the whole store, there are very often lines, people waiting to try on clothes. Personnel professional and friendly.

The way that blacks are followed in this store is pretty sad. Protect yourselves by recording and taking legal action once you have enough proof. Any lawyer will jump at this chance because it’s a win win. They will take your case free of charge until you win the case because YOU DEFINITELY HAVE ONE that will get you PAID. Ross will settle because they are FULLY aware of how they treat their patrons of color! First they had Asians following me but once I started to notice, they switched to blacks and even corned me at the dressing room and then again while I was in line to pay because to them blacks can’t afford what was in my basket. (It’s Ross ?) Stop letting them treat US as subhuman. Do something about it like myself. Their secret shoppers are terrible and have no clue how to do their jobs. I shouldn’t have been aware of them per their job title. Again super sad too.

Ross* please pay your employees more than minimum wage, this way they aren’t upset with blacks that can afford multiple high priced (again, it’s Ross ?) items at your stores that they can’t. 🙂

This place consistently looks like a bomb has gone off, with the staff looking about as shell-shocked. Nothing is organized and for as many open and used product that lines the floor and the shelves, the two security guards chatting at the entrance were confusing, as nothing was secure or guarded. Lastly, the screaming kids- shrieking at the top of their lungs- the entire time. Manager? Get control of your store!

I have been here several times but now have the time to write a good review for this store. The staff was great and friendly, specifically the loss prevention staff. There are many selections of clothes, shoes, household chores, etc., at reasonable prices. I feel like you can find anything in this store. I highly recommend people come to this store for their needs.

Friendly people and a decently good selection. I love that they have home decor about God and will definitely be back! Got some nice furniture pieces here and a really pretty lamp. The cosmetic section could use restocking more often but pleased with the store!

Whenever I go in here and look I’m always able to leave with a new find. Dresses, tops, jeans, leggings, and don’t even get me started on the accessories. The check out line can be a little long so make sure to manage your time well if you only have a bit of it.

Grateful for William. The other day my friend and I were looking to replace blinds in one of the rooms in my house. William came to our rescue. He showed us that the measurements on the box had a certain amount of give. He showed us the real measurements which is exactly what we needed. Back at home I was a Lowe’s customer and now that I am in California, i am switching to Home Depot. So far everyone I asked a question, they have been kind and helpful. Excellent service.

Has always home Depot is a good box. Hardware store. This particular trip we stopped off to get some pool chemicals and some plants for the patio. We were running low on some potting soil and supplies for the swamp cooler. It’s nice to find a one stop shop for all this

We are contractor and pro member so we usually order bulk items online but Pro store doesn’t have all items so we have to pickup a few items from Home Depot Colma II store. If you need specific item or have question about the items most staff doesn’t have any clue. A few regular guys are good and they know their department very well but most customers will not get what they want unless they find it themselves. Staff are not good with up keeping the inventory. Most shelves are empty and not actively refilling the items. You have to look for the SKU # from boxes above the shelves.

We buy a lot of plants and garden items from here and you can see the selection is not very good. A lot of plants in the pot need soil and root balls are showing. Staff are not cleaning maintaining the walkway very well or sweeping the floor.

Used to love Home Depot. I’ve spent well over $100k at this store over the years. Now that everything is locked up you can’t buy anything. You can’t get anyone to help unlock the cages and then if you can find some to help you, you’re treated like a criminal since they think you’re going to steal the item they’re helping you with. Home Depot needs to deal with the real criminals and stop treating all their customers like criminals.

I went to this Home Depot on a Friday evening, I found the items I needed quickly, I stood in the line for more than 30 minutes, only to get a very unprofessional cashier with no customer service skills. I won’t be returning, they now have an Ace Hardware on Davis street.

This is a huge store! I almost got lost here 🙂 I liked that the range of goods is very wide. I did not like the fact that there was some chaos a bit. I don’t know what it’s about. But I wish there was more order in the store. And so I can recommend this place. Be happy!Thank you for reading!

It’s a little smaller than the average Home Depot, they layout is unique with a personality of it’s own since it’s in an older converted warehouse but they’ve got nearly everything you need, and what they lack in size they make up for in knowledge and simply being helpful. Traffic and parking trying to get in and out are tight and awkward but once you get there it’s greenlights and blue skies. Their seasonal plants hit the mark both on price and selection, I can generally get in and out pretty quickly. Love this store when I’m working in the Oakland/San Leandro area.

I recently moved and had to buy new furniture, so I bought a few things from the Local Flea and am really happy with all of my purchases!! You can find a lot of name-brand items at a good price, and they can ship them anywhere (in the US), so it was perfect for me. Make sure to take advantage of their bidding feature (you can make an offer for the price)!

Went to the Local Flea on recommendation of an interior designer friend. Not too impressed. They did have some nice mirrored dressers. A nice tulip table and chairs from room and board. Some furniture from Arhaus. Everything is secondhand and some of it is unique. I wanted a big painting but no luck. Would go again. I have a feeling this place is luck of the draw.

I used The Local Flea to sell a number of items when I was moving out of San Francisco and I was very pleased with the service. My items were sold quickly and I got cash back super fast. These were items I was fully prepared to donate without any expectation of cash back, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Would gladly use them again!

The prices are the lowest I’ve seen in similar flea markets – most second hand stores have much higher prices. According to the owner, new items arrives every week.

This flea market is so cute , I have never been disappointed here , there’s music playing , jewelry , vintage clothes , jeans , household items , and lots more tiny treasures to find . There also a small bubble station area where kids can play and participate in blowing bubbles . My husband and my self enjoy coming here . It’s not very expensive and they easily are negotiable .

So it was a flea market with really good music. I bought my wife 3 scarfs , one super cool one from Fiji for $4 but we happened to not have change so we took another one and the nice person who helped us threw in another one! Some fun and great vibes; not to mention the Stellar Bloody Mary’s we scored at the Blackthorne. Shout out to the bartender. Headed off to The Bandshell for Reggae Sundays!

Mostly people vending clothes, their closets, or dusty antiques. I was a bit disappointed by the size, but I don’t know what I expected since it was only a block. There was live music, but otherwise a bit of a miss.

It’s fine, had live music which was nice and is very community orientated, but was essentially one block of garage sales.

This was an awesome old school toy store from the time when I grew up! It was full of some new cool toys, comics & games. They also had some older toys so it had a nostalgic feel. My daughter and I enjoyed going in meeting and speaking to the owners. They’re very nice and welcoming.

So happy I found this place. Great selection, well organized, and clean. Has nostalgic toys like Simon and Life to STEAM toys and a Japanese version of Legos (at least that’s my description). And lots of comics. Found great Xmas gifts for my niece and brother! Great service, too. Also they have complimentary gift wrapping – bonus!

Nice big shop right on the pier. Friendly staff and a large selection. I love that you can get little souvenir tee shirts and clothes for your bear, but my kids aren’t really the souvenir type so we got Pokémon, lame!

Cash payment is not supported here, so I tried to pay with UnionPay card. The employee said it was a payment error and tried to make three payments. In the end, everyone failed, so I asked for another card, and I paid with a visa card. I checked after a few days and found that all three payments were approved. I went to the store myself and told the staff, and they denied it, saying it would never happen. They said they even could’nt confirm it further. I came back because I didn’t want to ruin my trip. I spent three months with the credit card company to solve this problem after returning to my home country. This is not a store that build-a-bear. It’s a build-a-dept workshop. The customer service is very terrible.

Went during the “Pay Your Age” day, and unlike other locations around the world that had to close off the line due to massive lines, this location had a short line and was still open to anyone who wanted a new little friend. The employees that day and other days I’ve stopped by were very helpful, even with all the people who came in and kept coming in. Plenty of options too, so if you want more plush and accessory variety, including some San Francisco exclusive items like a SF Giants bear or your own sea lion like the ones outside, this is the BaB Workshop for you!

Beautiful food court, great movie theaters

This mall’s food court has great variety, including poke bowls, boba, a ramen vending machine, and pizza. There are also Lemonade, Starbucks, and Super Duper Burgers locations part of the mall but outside the food court. The food court is a great place to get something to eat before or after seeing a movie upstairs, in AMC Theatres. There are 16 theatres and they range in size, which allows showings of very popular movies and sometimes indie or foreign movies.

      in the last week
Galleria?? Let’s not get overzealous, and how about we just call it a mall? I give Stonestown 3 stars because this is the first BASC that I have rated. Maybe my parameters will ebb and flow as I make my way across the Bay. Stonestowm has a Van’s store that was attentively staffed by two very pretty and very observant Latino women. I was irritated bc I was trying on some sweet waterproof Van boots (TOP notch, although only one size on hand.. 10 12.. my size?). These were the type of footwear that could help your feet fly as you walk ever so inconspicuous. The irritated looking ex-cop security guard standing right outside the door was a bad vibe…

I was too late for my mission, for I am in possession of some rare and unique memorabilia. My destination, a collectibles store within stonestown, was closing. This came as a bitter relief, given the nature of my current predicament. It would be a wise move to take the night to study exactly what kind of approach I will take when I return to make my exchange. As seasoned professionals in the industry, I expect to receive a fair price for my pokemon card.

      First Edition Holographic Charizard.

Then there is Sports Basement. Too bad that huge warehouse of outdoor apparel and sporting goods closes earlier than the rest of the place because it is just the place to find some killer gear at a cheap price. The staff are very friendly and don’t hover intently, making an otherwise relaxing shopping experience uncomfortable and rushed. No, this place lets you peruse at your leisure.

Stonestown is a beautiful, lively mall to shop in with plenty of restaurants, a food court. clothing stores, a wide variety of boutique stores, video games, Regal movie theater, and more! There are also large chain businesses: Target, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Sports Basement, Chase and Citibank, City Sports, and McDonald’s.

The mall is conveniently located next to public transportation (MUNI and SamTran), too.

I remember this mall was a destination mall to shop for clothing. Now it’s a destination place to eat! Unfortunately no more Macy’s or Nordstrom’s. Now there is a better movie theater and an expensive grocery store. If you are hungry and want some food/dessert then Stonestown is your place.

Third days it’s opened since Corona, many stores still closed , many people come for foods and drinks

Update 9/17/2023 The mall is so alive, the businesses are back. Many new stores like daiso etc. The food court is crowded. The theather makes it even better beside the wholefoods.

This mall has all the chains one can imagine and has only been growing. Conveniently located right off the Muni station it has Apple, Sephora, Aveda, Tmobile, Verizon, Zara. Good collection of eating places too : Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, Udon noddles, Peet’s coffee. There is an entrance into Target and the Target within Stonestown is huge. The Trader Joes is 2 mins away and is one of the finest Trader Joes you can find in the Bay Area. Stonestown is a one stop shop for all your needs. Parking is becoming a headache increasingly, it can take upto 10 mins to find parking outside or you need to head underground.
