a month ago0 if I could I’ll repost after I go to the actual pharmacy tomorrow. At 930pm tonight Thursday 13/07/2023 myself spoke over the phone to pharmacist only one on at that time, She seams to have forgotten her duty of care attached to her degree and the current qld medical dispensary laws, bit of a god complex mmm seams to occur with certain occupations. I Didn’t want or need a pain killer of any kind synthetic or not I don’t need a speed based medication in any form. Just need a medication that is safer than paracetamol or asprin, that is life or death occasional medication i need I’ll go to this pharmacy tomorrow with info that they need and see if they will dispense it won’t be difficult to actually get the scrip during the day tomorrow yet I will go there tomorrow to see if I will use them again. Oh I’ll post a review after that. Take care everybody, pick your battles this one for me yes I’ll take it on.?4 months agoGreat place I like how they stay open late and is what people need. comments were thrown around like ‘it’s not that we think you’re trying abuse these pills’ and ‘we cant tell how many scripts have been filled already from this email’.
I asked the chemist if I could have one tablet to help me through until I sorted the issue in the morning. In short the answer was no, I’m most upset because he knows the ramifications of that answer and said so out of spite. He gave me repeated glares and came across as if he was better than everyone else, he treated the woman serving me with total arrogance.
I walked away thinking the chemist is racially prejudice.
Not the first bad experience coming from that particular pharmacy, but certainly the worst! I’ve been going there 9 years now and will not again after last night.
Lastly, any good reviews left here, are from friends of this establishment or they’ve bought them in a feeble effort to try and mitigate the damage their toxic service provides.

a month agoI have been going to Ken Lai Pharmacy for 35 years. I highly recommend them. Their prices are MUCH more reasonable than ANY other pharmacy I’ve looked at. The service you receive is impeccable from the assistants and the pharmacists.3 months agoGreat pharmacy, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Great prices on products also. He got really agitated and told me to leave. It was humiliating.8 months agoRang ken Lai on Tuesday 3.1.23 to get a script filled. Advised that I was still testing positive to Covid and asked if he could come to the car to get the script. He refused saying that I don’t go to his store often. I used to live in Caboolture for 4.5 years and ken Lai was the only chemist I shopped at. I now live in lawnton and cannot travel to Caboolture every time I need a script filled. Very rude and abrupt response from a chemist that I was a loyal customer for 4.5 years. If I could give zero stars, I would.a year agoI love coming to our local chemist.
