Dietitian or Nutritionist: Who to Consult for Your Nutritional Needs?

“Dietitian” and “nutritionist” are often used interchangeably, but there are some key differences between the two, mainly concerning their qualifications and legal restrictions on the terms:

    1. Dietitian: Dietitians are registered professionals who have met specific academic and professional requirements, including earning a bachelor’s degree with approved course work, completing an accredited, supervised practice program, passing a national examination, and completing ongoing continuing professional educational requirements to maintain registration. They are regulated by law and ethical codes, which means they’re held to the highest standard of nutrition services. Dietitians can work in various settings, like hospitals, public health clinics, sports organizations, and more. They can prescribe dietary treatments for many conditions such as diabetes, food allergies, or kidney disease.
    2. Nutritionist: The term “nutritionist” is not regulated, which means anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, regardless of their level of training or education. Some nutritionists may have advanced degrees and abundant experience, while others may have minimal formal training. In some areas, nutritionists can become “certified nutrition specialists,” which requires a higher level of education and expertise. They generally provide information about food and healthy eating, but they may not be qualified to prescribe specific dietary treatments for medical conditions.

Always check the credentials of anyone who provides advice on nutrition, especially if you have specific dietary needs due to a medical condition. In many cases, a dietitian is a safer choice due to their regulated status and extensive training.

I came to the Apple Store in Sydney to have two products: a clear case and a magsafe wallet.

I was in a hurry so I tried to get in touch with someone to get my things quickly. I talked to an attendant and told her, straight forward, the things I wanted and, to my surprise, she said I need to talk to someone else (she pointed to the person) to get my things. I talked to the guy and, in a very rude attitude, he said that I could pick up the products from the shelf myself.

I went to the shelf, took the two products and nobody came to help me pay. It took me 30 minutes to get my order done. I spent 168 AUD, and received a bad experience.

The place is beautiful and clean, as shown by the photos, but my experience was terrible. This is not what I expected from Apple and I do not recommend this store.

Nice and large store with three levels plus lots of staff, but quite a few products seemed to be low on stock and did not have a lot of variety (e.g. Apple Watch straps and MagSafe cases).

Really cool to see they have live sessions and classes as well, happened to see Art Lab for Kids when we were passing by.

Fantastic service from this store, I walked in off the street without an appointment to discuss an issue with my old iPhone 11 and after a quick wait was seen by Mak (I might be misspelling his name, he is a Zambian guy). He was amazing from start to finish, tried fixing my phone but eventually ended up replacing it as nothing worked. He was professional but also super fun to chat with and an all round awesome guy. Thank you so much for all your help and I hope your singing endeavours work out 🙂

Had to wait in queue outside prior going into the store – waited circa 20mins. This store is actually very big – ground floor has watch, scarves, bags and etc… Lower floor had homeware, furniture and clothes for men and women including shoes. Staff super nice, knowledgable and helped us a lot! Really wanted to cop that infamous black sandal but wasn’t the right size unfortunately?

I am a local and prefers to invest at our local Sydney store. Just want to say thank you very much Ping for a very enjoyable session we had yesterday. She did not push me into buying stuff I did not like but instead she let me enjoyed my session with her and helped me decide to what I would want to buy. I really love & respect Hermes brand and since I found a lovely SA in Ping, I did not think twice to buy nice things from her because I felt her warm, genuineness, so I trusted her advice and I started my H journey with her. She is very very humble and easy to talk to. My husband and I travel alot and was thinking to buy interstate or international but with my lovely session with Ping yesterday. I know we we made the right decision to stay loyal in our local Sydney store. They say good people deserves to be surrounded by good people too. Can’t wait for my next session with her… special thanks too to Taylor..

Great collection of items on display across the 2/3 floors and adequate stock availability (of course except for most of the handbags in lady collection). The waiting time to get in would be approximately 1-2 hours on the weekend. Could be faster on the weekday but I’m not sure. I strongly recommend to make an appointment before heading down.

Shopping here is an undeniably opulent experience! With a focus on exclusive production, this brand offers limited products, which adds to its exceptional allure. Given their non-mass-produced approach, it’s understandable that we may have to wait for unavailable items, leaving our wishes in anticipation. I’m thrilled with the company’s exclusivity offering.

came here for a special early mother’s day dinner. the team was very kind and sweet to my young niece and nephew and did everything they could to make them feel comfortable and well fed. the team was attentive to us, but less attention was given (understandably) later towards the night as the place got busy. the food was flavourful and tasty, only feedback would be that the fish was not as tender as expected! just hurts my wallet a little but it was a nice special occasion. thank you Beau team for the wonderful night!

A spot for a multitude of different meetups: boujee dates, chill catch-up, group dinner for nicer occasions.

Sit inside at the bar or dining room for boujee dates, but definitely go for the laneway tables for a chill catch-up.

Food was delicious and snack sized for the most part. The tomato salad and cucumber dish was a standout.

Re tomato pic, as you can see I was too busy devouring the tomato salad before I realized I had to take a pic ?

Beautiful bar/restaurant with a great ambiance for a date night/girls night out etc. We ordered the two pasta dishes and they were tasty! On the pricier side but we had a great night!

The restaurant looks great and the staff were lovely but eye watering prices for what you get. $50 for four tiny pieces of chicken and mine was slightly undercooked. Couldn’t send it back as it’s a share plate (of course) and everyone else had eaten theirs. Cabbage was great though. More likely to stick to Nomad next time.

I would never recommend a cafe that is ridiculously overpriced. I paid $40 for a vegetarian plate (including $5.50 extra for a boiled egg) and a regular coffee.

You would expect to have bread or falafel or something to eat up your veggies with… nope just string cheese that covers half the plate, some herbs that apparently you eat on their own and some pickled veggies, as well as ‘labneh’. Not sure who enjoys eating tiny portions of cheese and leaves for breakfast but totally misleading and deceptive. This is a garnish not a main course

      Other places much better value

Love this tropical market.. very similar to Sydney Paddys markets but on a smaller scale. Fruit and Vegetables are very fresh and love the tropical fruits that’s available.Well worth the trip if you’re in Cairns on a Friday Saturday or Sunday.

A local, tropical and permanent market. There’s a wide range of items from meals, produce, baked goods, tourist gifts, belums, coffee and pastries.

It’s under cover and really large. There’s street parking but also a car park with 2 hours free parking.

We love the Thai salads, they are so tasty and are able to get amazing produce every week.

With my constant battle with middle aged spread I came to Jeff for help. An absolute gentleman who is so very helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of a healthy lifestyle and changing my bad habits. This time he is going to help me keep it off? What is very helpful is before I make another bad decision I can text him anytime with details on packaging if it is safe to eat or not and he answers every time. I’ve learnt so much about low carb foods that keep weight off. I’ve even discovered naughty alternative keto style like keto choc cookies and keto choc brownies that keep me on track that I can have. I’ve averaged 1-1.5kg a week of weight loss per week and it’s been a breeze. It’s not a diet it’s a lifestyle change which I needed so badly with high cholesterol and pre diabetic which I have reversed following a healthy lifestyle and not having to do a rigorous exercise regime just day to day living. Highly recommend to all ages and both men and women. Thanks Jeff

Jeff is friendly, supportive and very helpful! I can text him any time with questions which are answered quickly!
I can absolutely recommend Jeff if you want to lose weight quickly and not have to do exercise!

This program really works. I’ve always struggled to keep my weight off and through this program have kept it off for the last few years. In the first 2 weeks of starting the program I lost centimetres off all areas of my body and 3 kilos with no exercise just sticking to the program. I have learnt what works best for my body and it has been super easy. I haven’t had to slug it out at the gym or starve myself. I remember when I first started the program thinking this was not going to work for me but it has and still is working. It’s been a great reset to also kick sugar and alcohol. I have follow Jeff from Geelong to Ballarat and hands down will not go elsewhere. You get to set your weight loss goals and then you’re supported to achieve them.

Great staff at reception, shout out to Gauan and his lovely energy! Great location, easy to get to the city. We paid for a room upgrade for a view of Darling Harbour which gave us full view of the fireworks. Room was clean and tidy, a little small for the upgraded price but still decent. Gym facilities were actually okay for a hotel gym. I would definitely stay here again 🙂

I recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. Accompanied by my wife, mother, and aunt, we sought a centrally located, reputable hotel for our Sydney vacation and found that the Hyatt Regency Sydney delivered beyond our expectations.

Nestled within the vibrant Darling Harbour, the hotel’s prime location is simply unparalleled. A stone’s throw away from a plethora of Sydney’s iconic landmarks, such as the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the enriching Australian Museum, it serves as a gateway to the city’s cultural and entertainment attractions. The vicinity is also teeming with a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping outlets, making it a hub of exciting activities all within walking distance.

The hotel itself embodies a modern and chic aura. Its rooms are generously spacious and meticulously appointed, while the bathrooms mirror a sense of luxury and opulence. We were particularly impressed by the staff’s dedication to excellent customer service; always ready to answer our questions and offer insightful recommendations for dining and local activities.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney was nothing short of exceptional. Its prime location, pristine rooms, and remarkable staff make it a standout choice.

When considering the Hyatt Regency Sydney, here are some key pros and cons:

Pros: · Prime location for easy exploration · Modern, sophisticated design · Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms · Luxurious bathrooms · Staff renowned for their friendliness and helpfulness · Highly praised breakfast buffet · Family-friendly amenities, including a kids’ club and a playground

Cons: · Potential for noise in rooms facing the street · Limited public parking availability

In summary, the Hyatt Regency Sydney is a hotel I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone planning a visit to Sydney, especially with family. It’s a delightful blend of comfort, location, and top-tier service.

Additional Information: · The hotel features a rooftop bar offering breathtaking city views · Fitness center and swimming pool are available on-site · A variety of dining options are offered, including a buffet restaurant, a fine-dining restaurant, and a bar · The hotel is pet-friendly

Wonderful staff all over the building, in the restaurant, bars etc or at the desks. They couldn’t do enough to help and were receptive to any request. Would highly recommend the buffet breakfast which had enough variety to never grow old over my 9-day stay.

The only tiny tiny knock on the place is it’s about a 12 minute walk to the nearest train station, so if you’re commuting there might be more convenient spots. Perfect for tourists who want to spend time in Darling Harbour of an evening though.

Soon as soon we entered we noticed the bed sheets and toilet was not clean( saw some blood marks on the bed) did ring and informed the hotel but they seems to not much worried. So we decided to leave and ended up with paying for the car park (85$) just for 2 hours.

Ended up in staying 4 star hotel which was far better than this 5star.

Over the phone they will offer you some romance packages with additional charges ( a romantic drink voucher and chocolate).

I made special requests to be done and expected some real romantic but end-up with calling the service and asking where is the romantic chocolate.

The meals were delicious, and they were able to accommodate for all of our dietary requirements. Highly recommend for your events!
