I am giving it a 2 star because the staff were very helpful. I would have given it a 1 star or lower. It is very difficult to find the entry it almost like the shopping center is trying to hide it, we had to ask the information desk. It is on the fifth floor and not obvious to find down a side corridor.

It is very expensive for what it is, there is no family pass either. They trying to make it more like a ride than it really is, it is a maze to get to the lift. We spent 10 minutes and it cost us $100+ for two adults and a child just for the observation deck.

When you get back down to exit, you have to walk through a tower shop maze to leave.

It isn’t really worth it. I hope another building opens up their top floor to observation and offers some competition. The staff are great, very helpful, but they have to be else you would get lost quickly.

It is a shame really that this is a ripoff for tourists coming to Australia.

This was super fun! They have a cafe where you can get drinks and small snacks. There is plenty of seating and great views. There is a VR rollercoaster experience. It was $20 for 2. It was fun but we were both a bit sick after. Highly recommend a stop. The views are beautiful!

Excellent experience! I took an annual pass, which covers few attractions in the city.

You can see all sides of Sydney city from Tower Eye. It gives us a bird’s eye ? view. There is also a restaurant on one of the floors. It is located in Westfield building in the city.

No crowd control so it’s overcrowded at the observatory deck during the last entry (6pm). No space at the glass window during sunset, air was humid, and there are purple lights that reflects on the glass? not pretty for pictures.

This place always amazes me. Every time I visit here I am thrilled. The Observation deck allows 360 deg views of Sydney. You can even watch a building burn down in the CBD(See photo)! But it is pretty ordinary in furnishings. There are not too many places to sit. You can get light refreshments but they are very light. However, Bar83 is a totally different story. Sit and enjoy cocktails, spirits and wines with superb finger food. The best part is that it is not expensive to have a great drink 1067 ft up as the sun sets over the city. Best experience!

Pros and Cons of Shopping at Woolworth

Woolworths and traditional markets both offer different shopping experiences that cater to different needs and preferences. Here are some pros and cons to consider when choosing between the two:

    Woolworth:

    • Pros:
    • – Convenience: Woolworths stores are typically located in easily accessible areas, making it convenient for shoppers to visit.
    • – Wide variety: Woolworths offers a wide range of products, including groceries, clothing, household items, and electronics, providing shoppers with one-stop shopping convenience.
    • – Quality assurance: Woolworths often offers branded products, ensuring a certain level of quality for shoppers.
    • – Online shopping: Woolworths also provides the option for shoppers to purchase items online and have them delivered to their doorstep, saving time and effort.
    • Cons:
    • – Higher prices: Compared to traditional markets, Woolworths products are generally priced higher due to factors such as branding and convenience.
    • – Limited bargaining: Shoppers may not have the opportunity to negotiate prices or bargain with sellers as they would in traditional markets.
    • – Less personal interaction: The shopping experience at Woolworths may lack the personal interaction and connection that can be found in traditional markets.

    Traditional market:

    • Pros:
    • – Lower prices: Traditional markets often offer products at lower prices compared to Woolworth, as they usually source directly from producers or wholesalers.
    • – Bargaining opportunities: Shoppers can negotiate prices or bargain with sellers, potentially obtaining better deals.
    • – Fresh and local products: Traditional markets are known for offering a variety of fresh and locally sourced products, allowing shoppers to support local businesses and enjoy a unique shopping experience.
    • – Personal interaction: Shoppers can directly communicate with sellers, forming connections and gaining insights about the products they are purchasing.
    • Cons:
    • – Limited variety: Traditional markets may have a limited range of products compared to larger stores like Woolworth.
    • – Inconvenience: Traditional markets are often located in specific areas, requiring shoppers to travel to reach them.
    • – Time-consuming: Shopping at traditional markets can be more time-consuming due to the need to visit multiple stalls or vendors to find everything on your shopping list.

Ultimately, the choice between Woolworths and traditional markets depends on personal preferences, budget, and shopping needs. While Woolworths offers convenience, a wide variety, and quality assurance, traditional markets provide lower prices, bargaining opportunities, fresh and local products, and personal interaction.

The best you could say about this store is its convenience. The store is so poorly stocked especially fruit and vegetable department. Seafood not any better. Treated very rudely by a certain member of staff without any real resolution in spite of involving management. Will not be returning to this store any time soon.

Staff are friendly and helpful but I hate coming here. I often am not able to find everything on my shopping list and have gotten stuck in the parking about 5 times because the gates don’t work properly. With people waiting in a cue behind me I’ve had to buzz for help and eventually I am let out. You’d think someone would do something about that.

Nice, Big and New. Had lots to choose from, a variety of meats that I don’t usually see and liked the fact that they had ready to eat nibbles (pies etc) and fresh made sushi. Was pretty impressed I guess being brand new definitely helps. Parking was ample and easy access and egress.

Two staff members, blonde older ladies, who were in the produce department, I asked one where something was, she gave me attitude and said “in the produce section.” I’d already been wandering around the produce section for about ten minutes trying to find said item as this is not my local store and I was very unfamiliar with the layout. The item ended up being in the very far corner. I asked the second lady a separate question about 5 minutes later only to be greeted with the same attitude. It made me not want to ask other staff any questions and I left with much less items than I wanted.

The lady at checkout was my only positive experience with staff.

Really deserves 0 stars. Like many reviews, the service at this place is terrible.

Danny Lee , who works at the fresh product section gets annoyed when customers check the quality of the fruit. Apparently customers need to get his permission to do that? What a joke lol.

As I was confused by his random outburst…he became more aggressive and confrontational, at one point, he got so close to my face like he wanted to fight me.

The entire time, spilling diatribe about all the fruit & vege being the same quality and customers should seek his permission before picking them up to check the quality.

The incident was forwarded to the front desk, because the store manager said she was too busy to come out. It was then forward to Woolworths head office, and as expected, it was a waste of time.

      Really awful experience.

Lady manager – Learn some manners. You dont need to shout if someone is buying grocery just at 9. You should have comfirmed with staff first whom I asked and she said yes I can get Tomatoes. Its not that big crime. Go get some life. Learn management later.

Dined tonight (27.06.2023) Friday night @ 6.30pm. The Seafood was fresh! Great selections to choose from, lovely ambience.

However, the service was atrocious, one of the girls in the bar was rude & arrogant, she screamed at us while we were waiting for our friend to arrive, she made the whole experience unpleasant! We were just walking around, looking around but according to her, we weren’t allowed, so she raised her voice at us! At least be nice, but no customer service at all! It doesn’t feel like 5 star at all!

She harassed us twice, first time she screamed, second time she again gave us attitude!

Our Friday was ruined because of this individual. She did not need to be rude!!

But we enjoyed the food and the other staff were super delightful, only one particular girl, who just made us feel uncomfortable.

I wanted to have a look at the interior, the atmosphere of the place. so, I could place a review, this left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Awesome variety of food from many different cuisines! Decent price for midweek lunch also. We enjoyed a lot of food and our bellies were full, squeezed in yummy dessert and cake also. The pizzas were of woodfired quality, plus also available delicious slow cooked lamb, seafood, yum cha style options and even a chocolate fountain.

Great selection of foods and wonderful seafood. Have been here returning a few times now and it’s quite busy at night for dinner but if you visit during lunch it will be a bit more quiet and there won’t be much of a line for the seafood. The prices have increased a fair amount since December last year which can’t really justify the amount of food you can eat which it could before.

Still a great treat if you wish to visit! Fantastic oysters, prawns, mussels and everything else is great!

Sure, there are plenty of buffets, smorgasbords and all-you-can-eats around Sydney, but Harvest takes the cake! Having booked a dinner here for my best mate’s birthday, we were quickly mesmerised by not only the variety of food, but the quality of every single dish that was on offer.

The next morning, we returned for breakfast and again, were shocked at how good the choice, quality and presentation of all the food was.

Although Harvest is certainly at the more premium end of dining offerings ($110 pp for dinner on a Sunday night), it’s well worth every cent!

The Indian section no traditional dishes like Tandori Chicken, Butter Chicken was a big let down for me when we went for lunch. Maybe they are evening cuisines. A shame as I was soooo looking forward to this cuisine/dishes. Otherwise all was good not fabulous or spectacular just average foodwise. Service and atmosphere excellent

Look for a wide variety of options, including both hot and cold dishes, and assess the quality of the ingredients used.
    • Hygiene Standards: When dining at any establishment, it is crucial to consider the hygiene standards followed by the staff. Look for clean utensils and serving stations, as well as proper food handling practices. If you notice any issues with cleanliness, it is important to bring it to the attention of the staff or management.
    • Service Efficiency: The efficiency of the service staff can greatly impact your dining experience. Consider factors such as the speed of refilling dishes, clearing dirty plates, and attending to customer needs. Good service can enhance your overall experience, while poor service can lead to frustration and disappointment.
    • Ambiance and Atmosphere: The ambiance and atmosphere of a buffet can greatly enhance or detract from your dining experience. Consider factors such as the seating arrangement, lighting, and overall aesthetics of the restaurant. A pleasant atmosphere can make your meal more enjoyable, while a lackluster ambiance can dampen your experience.
    • Value for Money: When dining at a buffet, it is important to consider the value for money. Assess the price of the buffet in relation to the quality and variety of the food offered. Consider factors such as the availability of premium dishes and the overall dining experience provided.
    • Allergen and Dietary Requirements: If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, it is important to inquire about the availability of suitable options at the buffet. Look for clear labeling of allergens and ingredients to ensure that you can enjoy your meal without any health risks or concerns.

How to Shop Like a Local at Aldi in Canberra

Shopping at Aldi in Australia can be a great way to save money on groceries and household items. However, it may be a bit different from shopping at other supermarkets. Here are some tips and tricks to make your Aldi shopping experience a success:

    • Bring a quarter: In Australia, as in other countries where Aldi operates, you will need a quarter coin or a 2-dollar coin to unlock a shopping cart. Don’t worry though, you’ll get your coin back when you return the cart.
    • Bring your own bags: Aldi does not provide free bags; you can either bring your own reusable bags or purchase them at the store. It’s a good idea to keep some bags in your car or carry a foldable one in your bag in case you make an impromptu visit to Aldi.
    • Use the middle aisle wisely: Aldi is known for its middle aisle, which offers a rotating selection of special buys. Take some time to browse through this aisle as you might find great deals on anything from clothing to kitchen gadgets.
    • Check the labels: Aldi offers a variety of products, including many of its own private labels. Be sure to check the labels and compare with other brands if necessary. You may find that Aldi’s private label products are just as good, if not better, than other well-known brands.
    • Plan your trip: Aldi stores in Australia often have limited opening hours, so it’s a good idea to plan your trip in advance. Check the opening hours of your local Aldi and try to go at a less busy time to avoid long queues.
    • Have a shopping list: It’s easy to get carried away when shopping at Aldi due to the low prices and tempting products. To avoid unnecessary purchases, make a shopping list beforehand and stick to it as much as possible.

Shopping at Aldi can be a fun and rewarding experience if you know what to expect. By following these tips and tricks, you can make the most out of your Aldi shopping trips and save money on your grocery bills.

Located within Westpoint shopping centre in Blacktown. Reasonable collection of daily consumables, food items, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat products and many more. Offers available on select items on a daily basis. The Deli section is very good.

Coles Blacktown would be a much better shop if the shelves were regularly restocked. Every time I shop there, items I want are missing. It would also be helpful if the trolleys were maintained regularly.

Don’t order click and collect at this place, ordered the day before for the next morning and when my order said ready to collect the next day I went there to pick it up, then the moody order picker told me I had to wait until she picked the other orders before I could collect mine which was done. They made me wait around for hours honestly it’s utterly pathetic. Tried to click and collect and save time but ended up wasting hours because of some moody order picker with poor attitude. Would of been better and quicker to just go in and do it myself. Going back to Woolworths not worth the problems at Coles.

The store closes at 22:00, I called at 21:44 & 21:46, the person at Coles picked up the receiver and cut the line without even talking, tried third time again @ 21:48, and it seems he/she put the receiver down so it was kept on ringing for 4 min without any activity and same at 4th time… really? it seems your staff is so focused on closing the door and Coles don’t have time to listen to its customers that why someone is even bothering at closing time…

A large store and all your needs satisfied here, it got a enough choices on bakery section too. Deals are too good every week and most of the deals repeats here and if we miss one deal which can be avail after couple of circles. Well manage and stacked so it easy to find what we need.

While the in-store service and the staff are outstanding, there are rarely any small trolleys available. I understand that it is a contract company that provides this service and not Coles. Anyway, the people who pick the trolleys are simply a lazy bunch of time wasters, except for a single red head and bearded elderly Aussie guy who seems to be the only one working from the group of mostly young overseas workers. I have 38 photos taken on different days to support my comment. Something must be done.

Coles is a well stocked shop, there fruits and vegetables and meat small goods display are eye catching and awesome.

Coles overall is still quite expensive compared to Woolworths and Aldi, but in most cases if you can t get a specific item from one, the others will have it.

I may go back, but you have to think of your bang for your dollar. They have all the regular products as the other stores do…

It was a good store and the staff were helpful.

If you liked my review give me a tick on the blue hand and help me improve my google local guide knowledge, thanks…

Normally I am very pleased with this store, however, can you please train management on how to not assault and be rude to customers walking off with a grocery basket only to return it later like at any other normal supermarket with no signage about baskets. I am very sure that they would appreciate that you approach them instead of embroiling half the store in your dispute about a red plastic grocery basket.

My friends and I went to Untied for the winter wonderland thing they had going on and It was soo so lovely and cute.

Really wanted to thank Lochy for going above and beyond with the service ? the way he brought warmth to every interaction with us – his service was amazing, bringing my friend hot water and lemon for her sore throat and giving my friend a “birthday” cocktail with a little candle on the glass. These things may seem little but Lou and I have worked/are working in hospo – we know how much effort may go into the smallest of things. Kindness and thoughtfulness goes a long way.

Brunch was amazing, drinks were sooooo good – service was our favourite part ?

Thank you as well Lewis for being a really chill bartender and for the really yummy Bellinis.

      100 % Recommend this place ❄️❤️✨

Me and my friend went to the bottomless lunch with soul. The two singers were unreal, so much fun and such great energies. The food was great, the cocktails were great and all the staff were wonderful and so sweet to the birthday girl. Shoutout to Imala!!!!!!! She was amazing!! PS!!! The frosé is not included anymore in the bottomless brunch even if they still advertise it like it is… you have to purchase them separately but definitely recommend a glass for the novelty of it. Definitely recommend this place xx

Their 2hr Bottomless Frosé + unlimited lollies is fun. I’ve tried all flavours & my fave were Strawberry & Passionfruit. Food were good too, especially Parmesan Truffle Fries, Popcorn Chicken & Donut Fries (wish the sauce was thicker so easier to dip, as the butterscotch sauce was drippy). Love this rooftop bar, the vibe & music = ?

Plenty of Gluten Free & Vegan options, Great for groups & Order can be conveniently placed via QR code.

Nice experience trying out a bottomless brunch. My main criticism is the menu had pretty limited options but the unlimited froze was fun for a one time thing.. got pretty boring quick to be honest – the few things they did have were okay, the steak tacos are probably the best – the rest was a bit bland.. A $4 roti, two bits of toast or some vegan nachos… I think the set menu is probably the best bet but didn’t try it. The decor is pretty – lots of flowers and summery things and a sneaky view of the water if you sit in the right spot. The staff were attentive and very friendly which I appreciated.

What a miserable hotel room. I believe this is supposed to be a suite but bed sheets not tucked in so it was essentially a mattress with a sheet thrown on top, haphazardly. Dust in all areas, especially behind curtains.

Drab. Dark. 1990s furniture from a shameful B-movie.

Multiple times no towels after cleaning.

Fridge is hot, assumed to be broken.

Shower is at chest level and I’m only average height.

Why did I make the mistake of booking this hotel for multiple nights.

      Never. Again.

I booked for a short stay not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, I would say the rooms are standard quality, nothing special. But our room we clean, refreshed daily with new sheets and towels. Room service available if needed. We had a tv, ironing board and hair dryer which is so useful to know if you’re packing light and are trying to bring limited items. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well. The room was just the start though, we had such good experience with the service of the hotel staff, our flight home was cancelled last minute requiring us to book an extra night, the staff were able to book us in for another night for the exact same room. Check in/out is 24/7 which is so helpful for late/early travellers. The location is also so convenient, we walked to everywhere we needed to go, loads to do locally and public transport close by if needed. So happy!

Booked this Hotel due to convenience of it being across the road from the Capitol Theatre as that’s why we’re in Sydney for, room was okay about from the shower curtain having mould on it looks at least 3 years old, but upon leaving for our first day out we were approached by housekeeping to be asked if wanted new towels etc… when we got back later in the afternoon no new towels bed made and our spare key card had been taken from out power outlet so had to get a second one so we didn’t get charged for a lost key card. The next morning we went to buffet and we’re 5 mins late but the lady let us have some breakfast anyways so that was nice. We checking out no hope you enjoyed your stay etc was very bland.

I stayed with my family in a junior suite. The hotel itself is outmoded so you can’t expect 100% beauty in it, however, I strongly believe the thing that makes it a 4-star hotel is its staff predominantly the reception/front desk. As I recollect, his name is Abuel, I appreciate how he asked anything if we needed some things before he send us up to our room. He also delivered a few things we requested, ASAP. It’s such a great experience to spend some time in the hotel with this kind of people. Cheers!

We stayed at a triple room on 3rd floor. Room 321. Room is averaged and obvious that is old already. Old rooms are okay as long as it is kept clean and tidy. Ours have obviously been surfaced clean only. My lip balm cap rolled under the bed and the accumulation of dust was unspeakable. The bottom part of the shower curtain was moldy. And there was one time that our towels were just folded and with that we can’t remember which towel is whose. They would come in everyday to make the bed, replenish the amenities but that’s it. The trash on the floor are still there. The tiles on the bathroom can use a serious deep cleaning. Location wise it’s very good since it’s just walking distance from central station and chinatown tram station. Staff is also approachable and nice enough. Its only the room state that I cannot give compliment to.
