Shopping at Aldi in Australia can be a great way to save money on groceries and household items. However, it may be a bit different from shopping at other supermarkets. Here are some tips and tricks to make your Aldi shopping experience a success:
Bring a quarter: In Australia, as in other countries where Aldi operates, you will need a quarter coin or a 2-dollar coin to unlock a shopping cart. Don’t worry though, you’ll get your coin back when you return the cart.
Bring your own bags: Aldi does not provide free bags; you can either bring your own reusable bags or purchase them at the store. It’s a good idea to keep some bags in your car or carry a foldable one in your bag in case you make an impromptu visit to Aldi.
Use the middle aisle wisely: Aldi is known for its middle aisle, which offers a rotating selection of special buys. Take some time to browse through this aisle as you might find great deals on anything from clothing to kitchen gadgets.
Check the labels: Aldi offers a variety of products, including many of its own private labels. Be sure to check the labels and compare with other brands if necessary. You may find that Aldi’s private label products are just as good, if not better, than other well-known brands.
Plan your trip: Aldi stores in Australia often have limited opening hours, so it’s a good idea to plan your trip in advance. Check the opening hours of your local Aldi and try to go at a less busy time to avoid long queues.
Have a shopping list: It’s easy to get carried away when shopping at Aldi due to the low prices and tempting products. To avoid unnecessary purchases, make a shopping list beforehand and stick to it as much as possible.
Shopping at Aldi can be a fun and rewarding experience if you know what to expect. By following these tips and tricks, you can make the most out of your Aldi shopping trips and save money on your grocery bills.

It was good need another person to empty the bins inbetween the vacuums they where full and it looks bad it would improve business if they added a machine where you could get cash out then you can buy the inside air freshener and cleaning stuff from the machines, they where only coin ones, but out of my experience is a decent good place easy to see from main road as well

I felt bad for this place seeing the reviews because I understand that there are limited expectations with a self service carwash. I’ve been there twice before and wasn’t thrilled but realize its not going to be perfect. However, I went thru yesterday and was very disappointed. I just feel that they need to update their system and vacuums. I had to clean the car and wheels afterwards. So paying full price because I got there before the 9am special Tuesday started I realised that for 50.00 more (due to the price and paying for the vacuums)I could take it somewhere else and have someone do it properly. I had to wipe down the entire car because it was still filthy and the wheels looked untouched. The vacuums don’t suction that well and can’t get into some of the areas that need it. Sadly I won’t be going there again unless they have updated their system.

I had a great wash today by 2 middle aged men – an absolute contrast from the car wash i had from North Wyong. I overheard one of the men say how sick he felt – and i felt for him. This didn’t stop him from providing top-notch service. I wish him good fortune.

Good car wash. The time per dollar ratio in the wash bays could be a little better but if you’re quick and not too fussy, you can wash and vacuum your car for around $10.
Remember to NEVER use those scrubbing brushes if you care about your paint, they all contain built up dirt and sand from previous washes which WILL put tiny scratches in your clear coat. Over time those scratches will make some parts of your car look like it has a matte finish (not in a good way). It will lose its shine. Just use the pressure washer and ideally bring your own clean sponge.

The 2 Best Coles near Southport
Coles Southport Park

Unprofessional and rude behavior of staff on cash register. Absolutely loud aggressive & unwelcoming attitude. Treated me like a criminal just because I bought the bread from Aldi & showed him on counter with proper invoice but still Checkout staff assistance react so bad, with aggression & loud mouth over no reason. Which is disrespectful for me & also disgraceful for Cole’s supermarket as well. I always like to support & priorities local business on multinationals but this behavior is not appreciated. Please trained the new & young staff. Otherwise next time I will definitely returned the goods straightaway & never returned to the same store for the business.

Mel at the front service counter was rude and arrogant. I asked for help at the back of the counter as I had a basket full of grocery items and didn’t want to go to the front as I hadn’t paid for them yet, I was also limping after breaking my ankle 6 weeks prior, and she rudely told me to come to the front when she could have walked five paces to me. When I asked her for a product she rudely told me it was in an isle as if I was bothering her. When I checked it was in a different aisle altogether. When I returned to the front she was having a private chat with another staff member as if she had all the time in the world. What happened to customer service, she should have taken me to the product, or having noticed I was unable to move well, she could have collected the product for me. Just rude. Coles is really hitting rock bottom at the moment! Their staff has the worst attitudes of any supermarket chain!

A Comprehensive Guide to Using a Self-Service Car Wash
Using a self-service car wash can be a simple and cost-effective way to clean your vehicle. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use a self-service car wash:
Locate a Self-Service Car Wash: Use search engines or apps to find a nearby self-service car wash station.
Prepare Your Vehicle: Remove any personal belongings, trash, or loose objects from the car’s exterior.
Choose Your Service: Most self-service car washes offer different cleaning options, like soap, rinse, wax, etc. You may need to insert coins, bills, or a credit/debit card to select the desired service.
Pre-Rinse: Before applying soap, use the high-pressure rinse to remove loose dirt and debris.
Apply Soap: Select the soap option and use the wand to spray your car. Start from the top and work your way down, covering all areas.
Scrub if Necessary: Some stations provide a foam brush. You can scrub your car to remove stubborn dirt. Be gentle to avoid scratching your car’s paint.
Rinse: After scrubbing, choose the rinse option to wash away the soap. Again, start from the top and work your way down.
Wax (Optional): Some self-service car washes offer a wax option. Apply this if you want a protective coating on your vehicle.
Dry Your Vehicle: Use the provided air dryer or a microfiber towel to dry your car. Drying by hand can prevent water spots.
Vacuum Interior (Optional): Some locations have vacuum stations to clean your car’s interior. Insert coins or pay as required.
Inspect Your Vehicle: Do a final walk-around to ensure all areas are clean and to your satisfaction.
Follow Safety Guidelines: Always adhere to the instructions and warnings provided at the car wash station. Wear appropriate clothing, and be mindful of slippery floors.
Leave the Bay Clean: If there’s a trash can, dispose of any garbage. Put away any provided tools like brushes back where they belong.
Exit Promptly: Be mindful of others waiting and exit the wash bay in a timely manner.
Remember, every self-service car wash might have slightly different equipment and procedures, so take a moment to read any posted instructions or ask for assistance if needed. Self-service car washes are typically open 24/7 and can be a convenient way to maintain your car’s appearance.

Prices have doubled, and my car was still dirty after using the self service bay due to the filthy brush and rinse water. Certainly wasn’t going to pay all over again to wash the vehicle in a different bay. The big problem is that they are cleaning cars in dark underground carpark. They can’t see all the missed spots, streaks because it’s too dark. Your car looks great in the dark but the moment your in full sun and it become obvious how much they miss.

The Full Detail service priced at $320 left much to be desired. Disappointed to find unsightly polish marks scattered across the car’s surface, and the interior suffered from careless overspray that was inadequately addressed. The windows, unfortunately, were left marred by frustrating streaks, and even the exterior trims seemed neglected despite being part of the promised package. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this service; one might achieve superior results by personally attending to the vehicle at a public car wash. Oh, and clay bar? I don’t think they even know what a clay bar is.

Shopping at Aldi in Australia can be a great way to save money on groceries and household items. However, it may be a bit different from shopping at other supermarkets. Here are some tips and tricks to make your Aldi shopping experience a success:

Bring your own bags: Aldi does not provide free bags; you can either bring your own reusable bags or purchase them at the store. It’s a good idea to keep some bags in your car or carry a foldable one in your bag in case you make an impromptu visit to Aldi.
