a year agoThey wouldn’t give my daughter her prescription at the pbs price ( had to pay full price) and said that her crn number isn’t valid. Just spent an hour in centrelink and it is valid. It was great at price too. The best customer service I experienced in a long time. Their prices are extremely high. I found the same product for more than $10 less at another chemist and they refused to price match. When the manager came out, it took her 5 minutes to find the P & H conditions in the small print beside the register. Very deceptive behaviour. Sad to see this kind of behaviour in our community.a year agoFake price match policy. I used the price of the same product in a local physical store in Tasmania to ask if I can do price match, and they told me that I need to add at least $8 in postage. May I ask what items plus the postage will not exceed the selling price in your store? That is the first time I saw such a price match policy.4 years agoThe only reason to go to this pharmacy is for catalogue specials, and then only IF the stock has arrived. This pharmacy and it’s succession of different franchises and owners has cheated the people of Burnie. We used to have a Priceline and a large pharmacy which were then merged and have become less and less appealing and less and less use to anyone. The decor of this incarnation is dismal, I pity the staff! What was once a thriving, happy, helpful “hub” is now bland, lifeless and of little use. I am now forced to shop largely online instead of in my own town.
