One of the best pet shops we’ve been to! The range of birds especially was excellent. My husband had to literally drag me away from the macaws. Also love the spotted velvet gecko we bought while we were there. We will definitely make the trip up from Brisbane again soon.

Good selection of items but the condition the birds are kept in is so cruel. Small cages with no toys and nothing to do day in and day out. So heartbreaking. Can’t support a store that keeps animals in such horrible conditions.

Zoodoo Zoo

I liked it here. There are some beautiful animals and some animals I’ve never seen before in other mainland zoos. The Wombats were awake and active, and we got to watch a feeding. The zoo is wheelchair and pram friendly, and the gradient isn’t too step, but you can give yourself a nice workout if you tried. All the animals in the petter areas were friendly and approachable, and all the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The kids play area and small cafe is a great place to have a rest if planning on spending all day, or grabbing and ice cream on the way out.
I had to remove a star as the entire kids’ area smelt like cigarette as people were by their cars smoking, and it came directly in, not very healthy unfortunately. But overall, it was a wonderful day out for the family.

We chose to spend a day in Zoodoo zoo as our last day of the Tassie trip.
The price may be a bit expensive but I felt totally worthy as the zookeepers and staffs took care of the animals very well. Once you got in, you can visit big cat lion, zebra, monkey and have a chance to feed kangaroos and donkey.
The overall visiting experience for me is that, Zoodoo zoo felt more like a ‘farm’ than a ‘zoo’ as all animals are living happily and peacefully. Highly recommend the experience????????

For a small country zoo there was a very unique variety of animals, recommend not visiting in the middle of the day as most animals are nocturnal and are asleep.
The keepers do a great job during talk times, personalised experiences seemed a bit expensive since they didn’t last long.

A must visit while in Tassie especially with kids. A good animal feeding experience and we got to see new animals which we haven’t seen in Melbourne zoo. The Cafe is great to and a play area for kids as well. Soo many chirpy birds, a woow experience.

This is the best zoo we’ve ever been to. You get to interact and feed some of the animals. The zoo is not packed out, you have alot of privacy and space to explore at your own pace. There are alot of animals to see. The staff are very friendly and there is a play area for the kids.

Really disappointed with the Santa Pet Photos we received today. Brought 1 single picture for $45, 8×5 big. Picture is so dull in colour, and photo isn’t good quality. Such a thin photo, also seen at pick up that we could have spent the same money for digital formate, would have loved to have been told that before purchasing the 1 photo, as we could of printed out better pictures ourselves. Really disappointing as it’s our girls first Christmas.

I’ve shopped at this store for more than 20 years, and it may have had different owners and staff working there, but one thing has remained a constant, they have a passion for quality. They have some of the best African cichlids you will find in the country. Their display tanks are awe-inspiring and second to none, if you’re looking for a quality aquarium, you’ll struggle to find one better!!! Go there, you won’t regret it.

Was in the store Saturday, store is well laid out and easy to navigate. Staff were extremely helpful and the manager Maddy went out of her to way to help and advise me on a few niche products I was interested in. Store had a good vibe and the team appeared to work well together. Will be only shopping here for my pet supplies from now on.

I never thought this store would get anything less than five stars because of how amazing the staff always were. Unfortunately the manager Maddy is that unwelcoming she drives it down to one star. We don’t even feel comfortable coming in anymore. The way Maddy speaks to staff and customers is insulting and downright cruel. Her attitude is mind boggling sour and she seems threatened by anyone who comes in with a smile. What was once a warm and welcoming store is a shell of what it used to be. The rest of the staff at Glendale are amazing, and the same goes for every other Pet Quarters store. Unfortunately when ever Maddy is in the mood is completely different. I see you don’t appreciate this staff member being called out by name, but when I tried to speak to a manager in store I was rudely told by Maddy that she IS the manager and I have no real complaint, so I don’t see what else I was meant to do.

I am new to saltwater aquariums and he took so much time to walk me through everything and went absolutely above and beyond to help me get everything I needed and explained it to me in really simple terms I could understand. He even carried the water out to my car for me.
Highly impressed and will be using pet quarters for all my fish supplies from now on!
