      The prime spot offers breathtaking views of the entire city, from Koombana Beach and Bay to Jetty Road, the Lighthouse, and the CBD. It goes without saying that sunrise and sunset are ideal times to visit. With the exception of the graffiti, it was a solid four stars. In any case, I’m crossing my fingers that the city will get to it soon and clean it up.

      Laurel Bank Park is a beautiful parkland close to Toowoomba’s city centre, featuring spectacular manicured gardens, a collection of exotic trees, a playground, picnic area, and croquet greens. Beautiful year-round, but known for its sublime spring displays and avenues of cherry blossoms, it is most magnificent during Carnival of Flowers each September. The park came into being in 1932 when Darling Downs Building Society Managing Director, Mr Samuel George Stephens, donated the land to the people of Toowoomba, with the City Council official custodian. Prior to gifting the land, Mr Stephens improved it with shrubs and flowers, and was known to many as ‘the man of flowers’.

      A beautiful park especially in September during the Carnival of Flowers. There are plenty of spots for a picnic blanket or grab a picnic table. Options for full sun/part shade/full shade. BBQs, restrooms, playground and plenty of gardens to explore. Full accessibility on paths and a great sensory garden too. Dog-friendly too.

      Really spectacular floral displays and other interesting features. I’ve been once during the festival of flowers so I can’t say what it would look outside of this time but I imagine it still looks great as there’s plenty of attractive trees, plants and features. It would probably be a great picnic spot.

      Beautiful gardens with lots of different flowers to see. The best time to go is September with the carnival of flowers on. Plenty of parking space during the week day Lots of green areas to have a picnic on the grass. Bbq areas and toilets are close by. There is a playground close by to. Good place for the whole family. Wheelchair friendly as well. Highly recommend going to have a look. ??

      Trinity beach is beautiful. We were here for a little holiday and we didn’t want to leave, even though it rained most days.

      The beach has trees along the shoreline, great if you want to escape the sun.

      You can only swim within the enclosure which is quite bit and has enough room for everyone. The reason for this is the chance of crocodile and jelly fish in the water.

      This is a small beach town, it only had 5 restaurants, a small supermarket and a couple of shops, so make sure you come prepared having done your food shopping, toiletries and medicine.

      There’s a small shopping complex within Trinity Beach, if you are walking it’s about 25 min and by car, maybe only 5-10 min, but there you will find a bigger supermarket and an amazing bakery, a GP and a pharmacy.

      All in all, trinity beach is amazing if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. Most restaurants close around 9-10pm and then it’s dead quiet.

      One of my favourite beaches in Cairns. It has lots of shaded grass areas to relax out of the sun. There are life guards and it has a stinger net. BBQ and seating areas. There are some nice restaurants to eat along the esplanade as well. There is a playground at the north end for the kids.

    Hobart ( HOH-bart; Nuennonne/palawa kani: nipaluna) is the capital and most populous city of the island state of Tasmania, Australia. Home to almost half of all Tasmanians, it is the southernmost and least-populated Australian state capital city, and second-smallest if territories are taken into account, before Darwin, Northern Territory. Hobart is located in Tasmania's south-east on the estuary of the River Derwent, making it the most southern of Australia's capital cities.       Love this part of Bellerive Beach, opposite Lower River Road. It has the rock pools on the far left where you can see a lot of mussels and other mollusks like chitons. We also like watching the sea gulls hunt for food on the shallow waters or on the rock pools themselves. It is a part of this beach that is not very frequented even by locals, since it was summer, still overcast but not overly cold or hot, the rock surfaces were not wet and slippery so it was fun exploring to see what we could find there.

      My favourite beach. Shallow enough for the kids and deep enough for the adults. There is a bit of shade if you wander along the beach to find it and a big park and BBQ area for a nice gathering of your favourite souls. Also a fish n’ chip shop right on the corner. A very family friendly beach.

      The Eastern beach is possibly the most beautiful part of Geelong! It always makes us feel content and happy when coming here! Our visit today was on a nice cool summer day with not a strong burning sun, so it was just amazing to walk all the Eastern beach from the carousel all the way to the bathing enclosure. On a holday like today, you can see many people walking up and down and having pic nics! The children’s pool was very busy today and children were having lots of fun. The big wheel is also an opportunity for something special there! If you are ever in Geelong, it is worth parking a bit away and enjoying a walk all along the seafront.

      This beach is one of the most family friendly beaches at the coast. It’s got some smaller rock pools for toddlers and great spots to around reef to take a dive. Just be cautious when swimming or walking around the reef to not hurt your feet from sharp barnacles.

      Great nice and clean beach. The beach isn’t patrolled but it has a medium sized area to swim. Plenty of rocky areas which some kids love to jump off. This is also the spot where the hang gliders and paragliders land once they take off from Crackneck lookout. Toilets also at this location next to the carpark.

      The beach is a bit empty, I think so few population for a huge Australia continent. It is a rare asset when the whole ocean and beach is just for few visitors. Do not forget to bring your swimming clothes if you travel here or stop here in the summer. The blue sky is priceless and it is price free ?. For public toilets in Australia, I have no comment, so good compared to average and free too. However no chair , no coffee shop by the beach , so you need to bring with you .

      Fantastic fishing area and it’s always calm to come to the bay. The natural scene is even better. With the fantastic view and calm atmosphere, the Yarralumla Bay never disappoints. The only thing are the half-people high bushes – in summer, too much mozzi around.

      This place will bring your ordinary day to become extraordinary. Recommend for dog walking, surfing and any outdoor activity.

      Parking lots available or you can catch the buses to Custom House and walk down to the beach. Tram from Newcastle Beach is also another option for public transport.

      Great beach, especially for families. The only thing we didn’t like (seems we did a beach visit before travelling 4 hours home) was that there were no changerooms with showers to properly wash off.

      Always an incredible beach to visit. The surf, life savers and cafe just makes a great day at the beach. Even has volleyball nets if you are that way inclined.
