Took my daughter in for a new helmet and the woman that helped us was so lovely, patient, and knowledgeable about the products. She even gave my kids stickers while I was paying. We left feeling very happy, will definitely be back again.

Super nice guys, super helpful Went in with a budget and super layman explanation of what I wanted to do and they hooked me up with a nice hardtail that I’m beyond happy with, gave me some good suggestions on helmets and the differences between the styles

Ruined a rim on my first ride and knocked the gears out of whack they retuned my gears so everything shifted nicely again and didn’t charge me

Went in for mudguards kickstand and a rear cargo carrier, I ended up picking the wrong of everything ? but went in the next day and they swapped it all over, helped me pick some things that would definitely fit and suit my needs then refunded the difference no questions asked

I lost a screw while bleeding my brakes and they helped me go through the spare parts bin and find another screw and didn’t charge me

Super friendly guys, super helpful, super knowledgeable, very good aftercare for your bike, seem like a solid group of very understanding blokes, beyond impressed with their service

Friendly staff. Decent prices. Good repairs. BUT they are really bad at providing feedback and updates on the status of your repair job. I booked my ebike in for a service and repair work. I was told (by 2 different staff members when I booked it in) that it would take 1-2days to get parts sent from Perth. When I’d heard absolutely nothing for a week I phoned them. And got told it would actually be 2 weeks just to get the parts! Plus who-knows-how-long to do the repair. So frustrating! This bike is my only mode of transport.

UPDATE… on my tricycle saga. The forks had spread apart so getting new forks which arrived today. Boss man says they might not get it fixed for another TWO days because they are busy with services. Just a tad disappointing that fixing it is not a priority! It will be two weeks, since I first called them to fix it, by the time they actually do! ORIGINAL REVIEW… Considering the dreadful amount of bad luck I have had with my brand new tricycle, I bought a year ago, I could be excused for giving a bad review. However, this business has been nothing but helpful and attentive in after sales service, and even if some of the issues I had were their fault, like the pedal falling off on one of my first rides, I am forgiving because of their great service. When I had a flat tyre, they came to me and fixed it the same day and on the spot. That is outstanding service. When I broke down this week I was a bit miffed that they were in no hurry to come and get it to fix it. Broke down Wednesday and they didn’t come until Saturday. But it turned out they were waiting on a part to fix it anyway, so it would have made no difference. It seems there is more wrong with it than originally thought. So I might be waiting quite a bit longer. I’m just extremely thankful that I wasn’t actually riding it when the front wheel fell off! My riding days would have been over. I am trying to rehabilitate my legs and not lose the ability to walk, so I need my tricycle, but I also need it to be ship shape so I don’t come off it and break bones. It’s why I bought a tricycle over a bicycle in the first place. I wish to commend John on his phone manner. He ALWAYS answers the phone with a very cheery voice, which uplifts the caller. I also happen to know they gave my neighbour a great e-bike on loan while hers was being repaired which is fabulous service also. I love the fact that they have a walk through to a coffee shop for you to wait while they do a service. If I happen to ride down to get my tricycle serviced, I have somewhere to wait as I can’t walk far without my wheelie walker. I concur with the odd review where in store service has been a bit lacking. Our first couple of visits were a bit like that also. Nobody rushing over to see what you were looking for to the point you felt like walking out. Yet there were staff visible. However, once the dialogue began over what you wanted to buy, the service was great.

Our Toowoomba Business networking team got to experience a guided bike ride from the Bikeline store up to the incredible views on the Toowoomba escarpment.

Was a fantastic and fun experience. Marcel was very patient in teaching us how to use the electric bikes to assist the ride and make it a very comfortable ride.

Can highly recommend this as an awesome team building experience. Can’t wait to go out again with friends and family to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the Toowoomba region.

And of course, I can recommend you enjoy a delicious coffee and meal afterwards at Cafe de Velo. So many great food options – and they cater for gluten-free choices too! Winning

Disappointed. This morning I had a very poor customer experience with staff in terms of their attitude. However, it is just one of many transactions all of which have been good.

A few days later……I wish I could add a review rather than just editing this one. Anyway, Marcel, the owner of Bikeline called me after reading my review. He was apologetic and very keen to learn from the experience. It solved any kind of service issues I may have had. This is one business that will definitely retain my business. They have continued to be reliable and approachable. Thank you marcel and thank you Bikeline.

YHA Ltd, trading as YHA Australia, is a not-for-profit of members trading corporation providing hostel and other accommodation, travel and associated service in Australia. It is a member organisation of Hostelling International.
YHA Ltd became a management and director controlled corporation with managers and directors now controlling the selection of successive directors and directors being able to appoint a least one-third of their number without election Directors may profit from payments but ordinary members are not entitled to a share of profits or assets. Profits are not necessarily spent or re-invested in the network of hostels or the provision of accommodation and services to members. The founder of the youth hostel movement, Richard Schirrmann, took youths away from the conditions of factories and cities to experience the countryside on foot and by bicycle and, in winter, on skis and skates, finding accommodation in barns, houses, school buildings and later designated hostels in the countryside. In the 1960s, YHA NSW recognised eight principles including "2) Every encouragement should be given to those who travel by their own effort whether they travel by foot, bicycle, canoe, horse or row or sail", "3) Hostellers should be encouraged to enjoy the bush" and "4) Rural industries ... could be visited".In recent decades, the Australian organisation changed focus and closed many hostels in rural areas and concentrated on providing travel accommodation in major tourist destinations, particularly large accommodation in metropolitan areas and coastal cities and towns where accommodation was already readily supplied. While still using the name YHA (Youth Hostels Association), the organisation no longer has a focus on providing accommodation for youths and now provides accommodation regardless of age. At the same time, the types of accommodation provided has changed from hostel to include hotel-style rooms and suites and self-contained accommodation. Having accumulated large debts on city and prime tourist location properties, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic decline in travel revenue, the organisation was forced to sell more hostels, many well below their account book value, with nineteen hostels closed.

Purchased a Cervélo Aspero from TCW some months back. Everything you could want from a local bike shop. I’ve been interested in buying an electric bike for a long time. I walked into this shop and admitted to the owner I had no idea what I was looking for. He took the time to ask me questions and then went through all of the options. It was the best service I’ve ever had. Then to top it off, he delivered the bike on the same day and spent another 45 minutes explaining all the features. Also – first service is free!! Such an amazing business and Oliver was great!

This is a great bicycle shop with an amazing owner. Oliver is a great person and helped me on such short notice. I went to Cairns for the IRONMAN in June 2023 and my bike was delayed by Qantas. My bike ultimately arrived on late Friday night and Oliver helped me set up the bike early Saturday morning with enough time to check in the bike to transition on Saturday afternoon. After the race, they came to my hotel room at the Hilton to disassemble the bike. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this bike shop to everyone visiting Cairns.

I hired an ebike from Ian and Julia for a week and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The bike was in fantastic condition and they thought of everything including a detailed map with bike trails (all of which were fantastic), a lock, lights, holder for phone and drink bottle, charging cables and a fabulous bag that clipped onto the back with nifty hideaway straps that converted it into a backpack! I felt very smug cruising up Castle Hill with barely an increase in heart rate! I’ll be back next year for sure!!!

As of June 2022, Canberra's estimated population was 456,692.The area chosen for the capital had been inhabited by Aboriginal Australians for up to 21,000 years, by groups including the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri. European settlement commenced in the first half of the 19th century, as evidenced by surviving landmarks such as St John's Anglican Church and Blundells Cottage. On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Following a long dispute over whether Sydney or Melbourne should be the national capital, a compromise was reached: the new capital would be built in New South Wales, so long as it was at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney. The capital city was founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913. A plan by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected after an international design contest, and construction commenced in 1913. Unusual among Australian cities, it is an entirely planned city. The Griffins' plan featured geometric motifs and was centred on axes aligned with significant topographical landmarks such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie, Capital Hill and City Hill. Canberra's mountainous location makes it the only mainland Australian city where snow-capped mountains can be seen in winter; although snow in the city itself is uncommon.
As the seat of the Government of Australia, Canberra is home to many important institutions of the federal government, national monuments and museums. This includes Parliament House, Government House, the High Court building and the headquarters of numerous government agencies. It is the location of many social and cultural institutions of national significance such as the Australian War Memorial, the Australian National University, the Royal Australian Mint, the Australian Institute of Sport, the National Gallery, the National Museum and the National Library. The city is home to many important institutions of the Australian Defence Force including the Royal Military College Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy. It hosts all foreign embassies in Australia as well as regional headquarters of many international organisations, not-for-profit groups, lobbying groups and professional associations.
Canberra has been ranked among the world's best cities to live in and visit. Although the Commonwealth Government remains the largest single employer in Canberra, it is no longer the majority employer. Other major industries have developed in the city, including in health care, professional services, education and training, retail, accommodation and food, and construction. Compared to the national averages, the unemployment rate is lower and the average income higher; tertiary education levels are higher, while the population is younger. At the 2016 Census, 32% of Canberra's inhabitants were reported as having been born overseas.Canberra's design is influenced by the garden city movement and incorporates significant areas of natural vegetation. Its design can be viewed from its highest point at the Telstra Tower and the summit of Mount Ainslie. Other notable features include the National Arboretum, born out of the 2003 Canberra bushfires, and Lake Burley Griffin, named for Walter Burley Griffin. Highlights in the annual calendar of cultural events include Floriade, the largest flower festival in the Southern Hemisphere, the Enlighten Festival, Skyfire, the National Multicultural Festival and Summernats. Canberra's main sporting venues are Canberra Stadium and Manuka Oval. The city is served with domestic and international flights at Canberra Airport, while interstate train and coach services depart from Canberra railway station and the Jolimont Centre respectively. City Interchange is the main hub of Canberra's bus and light rail transport network.

The communication with Zoe before the day was excellent and Phil is a great guide with good local knowledge. This ride is suitable for any level of bike fitness, or lack thereof. I very much enjoyed the whole Mt Wellington ride experience.

We went on the easy, Mount Wellington, descent, and rainforest ride. The tour was extremely well organized. Phil and Rich lead the tour. There was always someone in front and the van followed behind. There was strict emphasis on safety anyone who was uncomfortable with part of the tour Could easily get in the van and ride that section. Helmets, clothes, and safety vests were provided. It can get cold up on the mountain even in the summer and they had extra jackets if anyone needed them.

you ride to the top of Mount Wellington in the van, with all of the bikes on the trailer. Each person is assigned to a bike, which I assumed matches their size. You ride down the road for the first 6 1/2 kilometers making several preassigned stops as a group. no one is left behind and you can go at your own pace. At the third stop you rest and get back on the van to go to the other side of the mountain and ride down a gently sloping trail.

There is one slope that is a challenging walk up for about 150 m. Aside from that there is no substantial portion of peddling and you will spend a lot of the time coasting with your hands on the brakes. My friend and I are both in our 70s and we loved it

The bicycles are well equipped, and in excellent condition.

Aside from the trip being an excellent adventure, you can be confident in the organization behind your trip. I highly recommend It

Great afternoon heading down Mt Wellington on mountain bikes . Phil & Zoe lead a professional tour with great clean equipment and bikes. The highlight was traveling down the pipeline track which has a rich history and well worth the ride despite a little rain . Could not recommend this company more highly.

Our group of four riders of very varied levels of experience and confidence had a fantastic days ride. The weather varied from cold, fog and wind on the top of Mount Wellington to dappled sunshine on the forest trail later in the ride. At all times our highly experienced guides made sure that we were safe, comfortable and having lots of fun. The safety briefings were very thorough and kept us feeling confident, even during the more challenging sections. A sensational day recommended for even the most basic riders.

Well organised and very friendly. I highly recommend Tasmanian Mountain Bike Adventures. The tour we did with them was the Mt. Wellington Summit Descent & Rainforest Adventure Ride. It was a great ride and the Pipeline track was very a enjoyable, easy and relaxing ride. Both Zoe and Phil were a pleasure to deal with, incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and generous with recommendations on what else to see, eat and do in the local area.

Port Phillip (Kulin: Narm-Narm) or Port Phillip Bay is a horsehead-shaped enclosed bay on the central coast of southern Victoria, Australia. The bay opens into the Bass Strait via a short, narrow channel known as The Rip, and is completely surrounded by localities of Victoria's two largest cities — metropolitan Greater Melbourne in the bay's main eastern portion north of the Mornington Peninsula, and the city of Greater Geelong in the much smaller western portion (known as the Corio Bay) north of the Bellarine Peninsula. Geographically, the bay covers 1,930 km2 (750 sq mi) and the shore stretches roughly 264 km (164 mi), with the volume of water around 25 km3 (6.0 cu mi). Most of the bay is navigable, although it is extremely shallow for its size — the deepest portion is only 24 m (79 ft) and half the bay is shallower than 8 m (26 ft). Its waters and coast are home to seals, whales, dolphins, corals and many kinds of seabirds and migratory waders.
Before European settlement, the area around Port Phillip was divided between the territories of the Wathaurong (west), Wurundjeri (north) and Boonwurrung (south and east) people, all part of the indigeous Kulin nation. The first Europeans to enter the bay were the crews of HMS Lady Nelson, commanded by John Murray and, ten weeks later, HMS Investigator commanded by Matthew Flinders, in 1802. Subsequent expeditions into the bay took place in 1803 to establish the first settlement in Victoria, near Sorrento, but was abandoned in 1804. Thirty years later, settlers from Tasmania returned to establish Melbourne (now Victoria's capital city) at the mouth of the Yarra River in 1835, and Geelong at Corio Bay in 1838. Today, Port Phillip is the most densely populated catchment in Australia with an estimated 5.5 million people living around the bay; Melbourne's suburbs extend around much of the northern and eastern shorelines, and the city of Geelong sprawls around Corio Bay in the bay's western arm.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this bicycle shop and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! Not only did they fix my tires quickly and efficiently, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. The shop itself is well-organized and stocked with a great selection of bikes and accessories. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of bicycle repairs or looking to purchase a new bike. Overall, a 5-star experience!

Amazing service from 2 guys who refused payment. Initially I asked to borrow a pump for my flat bike tyres. They noticed that the bike was too low for me and adjusted the seat and handlebars accordingly. Whilst doing this they found the brake cable was frayed and unsafe. After renewing the cable they refused payment with a smile saying “no worries, at least you’re safe and we’ll see you next time. Thanks again to you both and I will be back.

BUYERS BEWARE: I purchased a new CF Moto 450sr which was scratched during transit. Phil advised there was 80 units on back order so I requested a full refund and return. He is refusing to refund me and is now dodging my calls and hanging up on me when I do get through. Phil is a nice guy when it works for him, then completely swaps as soon as something doesn’t work in his favour. Dealership has been reported to fair trade and ACCC. Do not buy from here.

Took my firestorm in for a major service and carburettor repair to Phil, because the previous mechanic had no idea and left my bike in a mess of vacuum and carby hoses, and it never ran properly after that, I put up with it for a couple of painful years until enough was enough. Called Phil and he assured me it can and will be fixed right, so dropped it off and with that I crossed my fingers. I called back a week or so later, and Trent the mechanic had weaved his magic, the work that was done from mechanical service and carburettor repairs is outstanding, I’ve owned this bike for 11 years and it has never run this brilliantly. So thank you to the entire team at CC Motorcycles for an awesome job and can’t recommend them highly enough, I will be back.

I called Central Coast Motorcycles enquiring about a bike. I contacted them in hopes of better service to which I recently received locally at another dealer in Newcastle. The bike was ordered and arrived within 3 days. the entire process was smooth, Phil provided us with impeccable service throughout, giving us a detailed handover with plenty of knowledge. We got a great deal on the bike and also on the products bought in store. Would definitely recommend, I will be purchasing here in the future. ?

Phil (the owner of the business) is one of the most crook car sales persons I’ve ever come across. My partner bought a brand new bike from them 48 hrs ago, which was delivered with damage. Phil offered a full refund of the bike or a reimbursement for the damage. I asked him to confirm details in an email but he refused too (first alarm bells).

We decided to proceed with a full refund on the bike as there is a large back order of “80 bikes”, Phil has subsequently “changed his mind” and refusing to refund the bike. He has hung up the phone many times and will not answer calls or messages.

As a buyer, it’s Phil’s way or no way. He does not listen to you and will continue to ignore you until he gets his way.

It’s a shame to see owners of small businesses treat customers like this. Please be aware of where you buy, I would honestly recommend choosing anywhere else but Central Coast Motorcycles.

Fair Trading and ACCC have been notified.

Bought a bike from these guys a few months ago. Dropped it in for the first complementary service and the big fella mechanic was awesome. When I got it back it was like a brand new bike. Not ever going anywhere else. My bike is sparkling. Props to the mechanic. Thanks dudes.

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Dan Ward while searching for a bicycle for my daughter’s triathlon pursuits. From the onset, Dan showcased an incredible level of patience, taking the time to understand her specific needs and preferences. His deep knowledge and genuine passion for cycling shone through in every recommendation he made. What stood out the most was Dan’s helpful nature; he went above and beyond to ensure I felt confident in my choice. If you’re in need of guidance when it comes to cycling, I can’t recommend Dan Ward at Trek enough. His exceptional service made all the difference!

I purchased a Tacx Neo T2 smart trainer from the Phillip store. I was given an extremely competitive price, the product was ordered in late in the week and was ready for pickup by Monday. Very quick and helpful service on the spot. I had a very good experience with my purchase.

Top service. Amazing range for commuting, cargo and ebikes. A great selection to either get around town or replace your car. I bought a Tribe Evamos there to replace my car after it was written off from hail damage. Saving load on fuel

Absolutely 5 star service!! Bernard & his team are fantastic to deal with. Found a beautiful little red Fuji Feather in store. He took the time to listen to my every request, ordered in the particular parts I was after, and built the bike to a very high standard. Never was I pressured to break the bank, he even recommended better performing components that were half the price of my original request. When I noticed a slight niggle in the freewheel that was shipped from Fuji, he was happy to take a look and replaced it free of charge. It’s great to find a local bike dealer as fastidious as I am 🙂 Excellent selection of quality accessories, and the team are very welcoming no matter what your looking for. Thanks guys ????

We were recommended Metro Cycles by our neighbour as we wanted to take the plunge on an electric cargo bike. Bernie showed us all the different options and wasn’t pushy with making a sell. We ended up buying a Spicy Curry Yuba. Seriously has been the best investment for our family. We don’t need a second car, we can fit all 3 kids on there for our school run and rides to the park. We should have bought it years ago.
