Very disappointing at this store I went to grab a few things from the drink isle and slipped on a wet patch on the floor I have injured my knee due to this and now am struggling to work because of it your staff clearly has poor eye sight as a wet patch on the floor is a hazard what if an older person tripped fell and hurt themselves this is truely disgusting even the staff working registers are not polite paying for groceries only to have my money thrown at me maybe you guys should look at hiring new staff who know what they’re doing.

The majority of the staff at this store are nothing but rude and catty little boys and girls! I am no longer using this store and am travelling to other stores where you are treated with respect and pleasant manners.
I have had 2 incidents in store where i have demanded to see a manager due to the rudeness and abusive nature of staff towards myself and a relative with a disability and 1 click and collect issue where the staff member literally threw my groceries into my boot on top of a wheel chair, smashing glass drinks, crushing eggs and popping open a yogurt container. When i pulled her up on it she rolled her eyes and said “they were heavy”. Not an excuse, especially since she was placing three bags at a time in my boot. The items were replaced after going instore and speaking with a manager, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
So far, using a different store i have not had any issues and have been served with pleasant and friendly staff who are more than helpful.

I’ve never seen a supermarket which constitantly has empty or near empty shelves, Mondays are by far the worst and the problem is not the staff but I believe upper management not allowing store managers to employ sufficient staff to stock the shelves, unfortunately Woolworths aren’t much better. I guess it the standard we are forced to accept.

Shoppers can find a variety of fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meat that are often sourced directly from farmers or fishermen. This can be particularly appealing for individuals who prioritize high-quality and organic products.
Social interaction: Traditional markets provide an opportunity for shoppers to interact with local vendors and build personal connections. It allows customers to ask questions, receive recommendations, and learn more about the origin and production practices of the products they are purchasing.
Potential for haggling: In traditional markets, there is often room for negotiation and haggling over prices. Shoppers can try to get a better deal by leveraging their bargaining skills, potentially leading to additional savings.
Cultural experience: Traditional markets offer a unique cultural experience, with vibrant displays of local products and flavors. They can provide a sense of authenticity and a glimpse into the local traditions and customs of the community.
Availability: Traditional markets may have limitations in terms of product availability, especially when it comes to specialty or international items. They may also have limited operating hours and be located in more specific areas, requiring additional time and effort to access for some customers.
Ultimately, the decision between Coles and traditional markets depends on your personal preferences, priorities, and circumstances. Consider factors such as convenience, price, product variety, freshness, social interaction, and cultural experience to make an informed choice that best suits your needs.

What has happened to Coles Hot Cross Buns? Did someone forget to put the fruit in them?
I get fed up with buying items that I like and finding some bean counters have ruined them. I purchased Coles hot cross buns because they were my favourite out of all the ones I had tried. They were the best in Townsville in my opinion…… because they had fruit in them.

There were no chickens available and despite a sign saying ‘No chickens available? your next one is free’ the deli staff said “No we don’t have them because the deli has closed early” . 6.35pm closure seems extremely early, particularly as many customers would be expecting to be able to buy a chicken for their dinner. I was hostilely accused of stealing a few items of groceries and it was taken to the point where the staff member took items out of my bag from other shops and accused me of stealing from there and wanted to escort me back to those shops to try and get me in trouble when I clearly showing her proof of purchase, but she did not believe me still. Furthermore, I just called the store and spoke to the manager and he blamed me and was asking me why I was accused and kept saying he can’t do anything not even talk to the staff member about it, so just watch out because they just go around accusing people of stealing for no fair reason just on the basis of stealing. She did not even provide a reason to search my items however I still let her and her hostility continued towards me. Will never shop there again I advise you to shop at other grocers as they seem to be more reasonable and fair.
