Went to pick up a spring onion and a bunch were soft and seemingly going off. Boxes of drinks just laying around everywhere still in cardboard and plastic.
The girl on the counter asked me if I knew what the vegetable was to put it through for her…
Not the same store anymore so if you need food late in the night look elsewhere for sure.

The new owners are terrible!
Rude, offensive and lack integrity.
Advertise one price on the specials docket and then when I go to checkout say “Sorry it’s not that price anymore. That’s expired!”
If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away now!!!

This has been my local and go to last minute place for about 5 years or so. The shop size, although small stocks everything that I’ve always needed. The staff are good and the manager is always willing to have a chat. The shop is always clean. No, it’s not like a Coles or a woolworths, doesn’t have the capacity, but if you missed an item or two and don’t want the the hassle I come here. Best sandwiches I’ve ever had and at a really good price, made fresh daily. As for expired food, I’ve never come across anything I’ve bought here being expired unless it’s in the specials basket, I always check the expiry on products anyways.

I have been going to this store for almost a year now spending $100+ a week but I won’t be going back. The old lady in the morning was rude to many times and the manager backed his staff when I was correct. So my money and loyalty is going to a place more deserving. This probably should have happened sooner about 2 months ago I also saw the owner ask an indigenous lady to leave her kids outside the store unattended so they didn’t come in. Nothing Racist..

Purchased couple of items today. Only went in there because more convenient. Paid for items then the rude woman that served me didn’t even tell me what price was, or acknowledge me. She just turned her back and starting talking to her dim-witted work colleagues. The handful of times I’ve gone in there, they’ve always been rude anyway. I Don’t recommend. They will not have the pleasure of my business, my money or my beautiful face EVER again.

Walking past popped in to get Fin Review which they didn’t have but had a look around and what a great selection of fresh takeaway food they have! Brought Falafel wrap, spinach roll, sausage roll, cauliflower salad, pesto pasta salad, quinoa and pumpkin salad and soy latte. Coffee delicious and was given sweet little treat to accompany it which went into my mouth as soon as I was given it. Yum! Also have sandwiches, muffins, etc. Can sit outside or even a little area inside to enjoy your coffee and snack. Supermarket section has everything you’d want in a Foodworks including corn chips marketed as the hottest corn chips you will ever have, look forward to checking that out (with trepidation of course). Note the Falafel wrap was delicious and will be going back to get again! 10.2.23 nearby and literally popped in to get 1 thing and came out with 10! I tell you what they had baklava and I can’t pass up baklava! I even ignored the jam donut so I could buy.

Not many cafes around in this area and this one, which I often visit when in the area, is pretty good. The coffee, breakfasts, lunches and snacks are good. As you can see from the photos you can also pickup bread, grocery items, milk and liquor. On a nice day it’s quite plesnt sitting out the front sipping your coffee.

Was here on Thursday 28th /12 , the girl staff member not wearing uniform needs to learn how to pack a shopping bag, throwing our items in with no care at all , myself and my wife both said to her can you pack it properly, and she didn’t reply anything. After paying I had to unpack the back and then pack it properly myself.
Very poor attitude from that worker , it’s usually pretty good here when I come , but this worker had a terrible attitude.

Now that it’s called star or whatever the hell it is, you must keep a close eye on the cashiers as they enter your goods. Three times now (that I know of) I have been charged multiple times for the same item. Staff cannot be trusted and the prices are barely better then a Woolworths metro. My advice, go elsewhere

Nice mix of Western and Asian groceries. Excellent location. The two biggest issues I have with this store is the meat section and the staff. There are some very strange and off putting looking steaks when I visited (see 1st picture), yet they haven’t reached their expiration date which means I would question the quality control at this store. The second issue I have with this store is the checkout staff. They look disinterested and unhappy. I shouldn’t have to ask for a receipt every time I shop. A simple smile and greeting would go a long way.

One of the worst Supermarkets ever!!! Without being racist, they mostly cater for Asian food and not a variety of food and products that “Footworks” is known for! They are extremely overpriced then any other Supermarket in the area unless its a sale price…
Also the Isles are that narrow that a trolley will have difficulty going down and also especially when the supermarket is always messy and sock always on the floor every time I have been! Quite disappointing for a supermarket…
