      I brought a piece of a my wall and ask at the paint department for the same color. She took the sample, did a sample match and mix the paint like she knew what she was doing. Then I get home I try it and does not match my color at all. I go back to home depot and explain them the situation and that’s when they are going to explain me that I’m the one who asked for color match that they are not robots, and color match is not 100 percent accurate ,and I should have asked for plain white because my color is plain white. Well I brought a ça piece of color asking for the same color, they are the one who decided to mix it. I do not work there so I trusted them to give me a good quality service. The manager refused to change it to the right color, I wasted money time and energy going back and forth. Now I’m stuck with a container of paint I am never going to use.Never again

      Most dysfunctional home depot I’ve experienced. People stealing your shopping cart every time you turn your head. Almost all the merchandise is in locked cages and there are no sales associates around to open them. Walked in for one thing and it took me 20 minutes to get it unlocked. Some of the associates are also the type to talk down to you like you shouldn’t be doing the project you’re doing because you look inexperienced. What’s the point of a home improvement store if there’s nobody there to make it work?

      Came in to buy a string trimmer, but you can only get one if someone opens up the cage the product is in. I walked around and found a woman who said, and I quote, “That’s not my department, or my problem.” Why would anyone in their right mind say that to a customer willing to purchase a product from you? Needless to say I was lost as a Home Depot customer at that point.

      What can I say. I started a home project that I fumbled on Step 1. I came to Home Depot 4109 for advise and suggestions on tools. I approach Ree Ree we tried, we had the idea but nothing. She said, let’s call Mike Mike/Michael. Grady walked by and tried, again nothing. Michael came and saved the day. They were all professional and funny. The customer service displayed went above and beyond.

      I was caught in a guadmire regarding a return to Home Depot. I was at my wit’s end, and encouraged to contact the store manager, who was unavailable. However, I had the good fortune to speak to ReeRe. This woman is phenomenal. She got to the root of the problem in a timely matter, while displaying the highest professionalism along with a caring nature. I cannot say enough positive words regarding her expertise. Mr. Wayne, the store manager, is blessed to have an employee who can fill his shoes when the need arises. Also, special thanks to Eliza, who was kind, professional and accommodating in my initial phone call to the store. Finally, I can say, “Happy Days Are Here Again.”

      Came in to grab an item that was listed online as having 7 on hand. I had to grab an employee because I couldn’t find any on the shelves and was told it must be an error online and was directed to place an online order. Came back today to pick up order just to find out that they did actually have 7 on hand and the employee didn’t bother to check the computer or secondary storage location. After waiting for over an hour for the item to be picked from the top shelf pallet it was on I left. Do yourself a favor don’t come here.

      By far the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. None of the employees seem interested in helping the customers. I’m constantly waiting for help and/or check for simple things. I can write this review in the store because I have so much spare time waiting. Avoid if you have any other options. Picture from the parking lot that depicts what it’s like inside.

      Edit: why did I come back? They have 10 employees standing around but only 1 person working the checkout. So we all waiting a huge line wasting our time just to buy something.

      Nick and Terry were exceptionally helpful. It was my first time, and they were so gentle in assisting me when picking up my order. I didn’t know how to check in, Miguel helped me do that…then I had multiple questions about my closet doors. Nick and Terry both confirmed my order was complete prior to my departure. Thanks guys. Nick was gone pulling another order before I could snap his pic, he knows how to hustle.

      I go to this Home Depot at least twice a week and have been for 5 years or more now. I used to love this Home Depot but lately they have trouble keeping their products in stock and organized. The trim and baseboards section is a complete mess. The screws and nuts are a disaster. Things constantly are going out of stock and the app often misreports the availability of products. Getting assistance is sometimes easy but usually impossible. I hope they can improve in these areas.

      I ordered something online yesterday for pick up in store. Manager called me to let me know one part was mislabeled and was out of stock. After learning that was the one part I really needed, she jumped into action and found another location that had ample in stock and confirmed they had my other supplies too. She cancelled the rest of the order, called the store manager at a different location to confirm it was there and then called me back to say it was waiting for me. The manager at the other location had hand selected the best board and had it on a cart waiting for me. All at nearly closing time on a holiday. Impressive customer service from both stores!

      This is for the Home Depot on Fairmount Avenue in San Diego. I bought a large sink too heavy to carry. I came back a few days later and picked it up. I had it loaded for me no problem. A few days later I came to look for cabinet drawer handles. I could not find a certain variety. We asked for help and a gentleman found all the necessary handles. Prices always fairly competitive. They have a return policy that I do like. Keep your receipts. But even if you don’t have the receipt just present the credit card that the purchase was made with.

      Poor customer, felt rushed and as they wanted me out of there, mind you it is only 12pm when I was shopping, the biggest fault is not having Apple Pay, as they only take cash or physical card. This is especially upsetting in a world where Apple pay is available pretty much anywhere you go, so most of the time I don’t feel the need to carry a physical card, you’re losing customers that way and it’s something you should consider implementing, very disappointed.

      The customer service at self check out was HORRIBLE! I felt as if I was being rushed out the door. My grandson was trying to pick out a candy and I wasn’t even in line yet when one of the employees turned around and basically yelled at me “are you in line?!” Obviously I was not in line yet but after that i felt like just hurrying up and getting out of the store to NEVER go back because of the HORRIBLE customer service I experienced in front of my daughter and grandson. I left very disappointed and upset! I will be doing my Home Depot shopping at other Home Depot’s in the San Diego area.

      Welp, since I went four places to find pegboard for a project and FINALLY found help, I’d give it a good rating. At first, it was slow going. BUT, then a great older fellow, Dale offered to help me. Had trouble finding the right sizing. I showed him my project, he immediately know how to help me cut and measure EXACTLY what I needed. ALSO how to put it together. Two of the places I had tried said they couldn’t cut the pegboard. One, the in store saw was broken. So Dale was priceless!!!! He definitely knows his stuff and was very patient and friendly. They also offer a military discount. That always helps.

      ONLY GO WHEN NECESSARY! EXPENSIVE! CHEAP MATERIALS! RUDE STAFF! ALWAYS BUSY! Home Depot has totally deteriorated over the years. Once a grand concept, stocked with materials which were of quality, we have now come to a overly commercialized, mess! This location is always busy (like a Super Walmart). The lines for paint and other specialty items is utterly ridiculous. Staff are super rude. Go up the street to a Lowe’s where you’ll find more trained staff, or better yet, TRY to shop at a Mom and Pop shop, if any exist!

      You just lost a $400+ sale because no one can drive a fork lift at 2:45 in the afternoon… I asked for a supervisor. Nope, they aren’t there either. Which explains why 5 employees where in garden section during the rain playing on their phones. Good job Slackers. This place is trashed. Shelves are junked out. Pretty typical for mesquite,Tx. So Instead of shopping with y’all, I ordered what I needed in your parking lot from somewhere else. Will be shipped free delivery to my site tomorrow.

      I had a great experience today while shopping for exterior French patio doors. I was assisted by an employee in the door selection by the name of Gene(CES756). He was very knowledgeable about the door that I was wanting . He advised me on the selection of door handles that they had. He also informed me about the special financing that was available. I then encountered an employee name Violeta who was the cashier helping me with the military discount . When it would not take the discount off she explained to me that certain items at Home Depot was not eligible for the discount which I was unaware of and never encountered. So , much respect for these employees who gave excellent customer service which is hard to come by these days. Again I you guys!

      Rented a chainsaw, since i was visiting family. (Not my first time troubleshooting/ working a chainsaw.) started up fine when the employee tested it. However air filter was clogged and it could barely move the chain from the beginning. (Yes I adjusted chain tension about 10 different times and used chain lube) even with the air filter off and chain tension loosened it struggled to rev high. I feel sorry for whoever rents that chain saw next…

      I went to buy some material for my husband’s project. Mr.Houston, was a gentleman when he helped me. I had my husband on the phone & everything he needed Mr. Houston found with no problem! It was over about 20 things, but like a champ he helped us out. He never lost his professionalism or show any kind of rudeness due to all the things I was asking for. Mr.Houston was very positive, and calm! My husband was able to finish his project & I definitely will recommend all his friends to Mr.Houston. Thank you!!!       I purchased 10 gallons of Behar water semi-transparent paint to stain my fence professionally yesterday. The color on the sample had more of a brown based than what I received when I got home But I’m so grateful for Mr. Charles @ Wheatland location.       My bf works at this Home Depot and he collects the carts in the lot. I’ve waited for him to get off of work in the parking. Now I’m not being biased because he’s my bf, but I see nobody out there but him. Yes, he’ll get help once in a while. But aside from that, the other employees that are suppose to be out there collecting carts with him are not out there. I don’t appreciate seeing my bf do this job alone when he has coworkers that are suppose to be out there as well. Home Depot gets a 2 out of 5 stars because my bf is there doing a great job!

      What can I say? I placed an online order for paint to pickup here, waited and called 3 days in a row to find out where it was. Finally-day 4 it was ready… or so I thought. When I go to paint about a week later, none of the paint had any of the pigments in it. Home Depot’s picker legit grabbed paint base and passed it off as the selected color. I was livid. While Luis did make it right, and I got my paint, I would have appreciated a face to face apology for this issue. Not only will I not use online ordering anymore, I will just go to a competitor for paint. It’s unbelievable that Home Depot did this in the first place.

      The folks working at the Return Center needs better customer service and store policy training. I tried returning a bare-root wisteria and the return service employee doubted the plant came looking like a stick (no leaf and a string like for a root). She asked her supervisor who also had doubts, so the supervisor asked the person in charge of the nursery to check the plant (the supervisor refused to look at a Google image that shows what a bare-root wisteria looks like). The person in charge of nursery acknowledged the plant, but then doubted that I still met the window of return. I had to tell her of the 90-day return policy. Then she asked for the receipt, otherwise she would only give me store credit based on the current price which is 1/2 the value I had paid for. In the past, the store would accept the credit card used for purchase to be used for return, but this lady asked for the receipt (the supervisor stayed quiet). So first, they questioned my honesty because they did not know what a bare-root plant looked like, then they questioned whether I could even return the item and would not allow me to use my credit card for the return. Don’t bother with this De Anza, San Jose, Home Depot store if they make it so difficult to return an item, don’t know about the store policy’s of 1 year return guarantee for plants (or 90 days as written on the receipt), and have doubts about a customer’s honesty. The return center employee, the supervisor, and the person in charge of nursery need training.

      Usually a bit less crowded than other Home Depots, with all the stuff you’ve come to expect. If you are able to find a staff member, they are usually friendly. Returns can be a pain, not enough staff and slow processing. Prices are reasonable. They also have special parking lot sales sometimes (carpets, plants etc.). Day labourers can be found in the parking lot.

      I went to Home Depot today to copy some keys. Didn’t know where to go so I asked a Home Depot employee for help. Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They know the place pretty well.

      They have 2 machines to make keys – one is an automatic one and one can only be operated by their employees. If you have a normal, common house keys, the automatic machine works well, fast and cheaper than similar automatic machines in other places. If you have a less common key that the automatic machine can’t recognize, ask an employee to help you use the other machine. It was ~$4/key.

      This store has INCREDIBLE customer service!! Shout-out to the fastener plug, I believe his name is Anthony. I came in with my bike part where I needed a matching screw and washer. Anthony very patiently listened to what I was looking for. He found me the item and told me a little bit about why I would want a washer and screw, versus just a screw. I loved the patience he showed. I very much appreciate the help. Whenever I need something, I am ABSOLUTELY coming back to this very Home Depot!!!! Thank you Anthony!

      If you want to do a new countertop installation through Home Depot, this review is going to be super useful for you! We replaced our old countertop with a new one through the Home Depot. The countertop was installed but there were a lot of things left undone. We contacted the customer support and they said they don’t do it. Listing down the concerns and their response as below 1. They missed one part of the backsplash during measurements. The countertop installations people said we can’t do it as it was not measured. We suggested cutting some part from the sink cut-out and he agreed. Thankfully , the installation was not impacted. 2. They did not put the dishwasher back after the water supply was reconnected. We had to follow up with the customer service person a couple of times and then they sent a guy to do it . 3. This is the biggest concern. They didn’t secure the electric connections and left them hanging. The wiring is open and unsafe to plug in the devices . Upon checking with them, they said it’s not their job and said it’s not covered by the contractor they hired for us. I am not at all happy with their response. We don’t care what the contractor says. The home Depot should hire another guy to fix it for us. We paid them to do the job end to end. They shouldn’t leave it like that. The customer service people didn’t help us even after following up with them several times . Please see the attached photos As you can see in one of the photos they did it for one outlet (internet connection) but not for the others. 4. The countertop was leveled but there is a gap between the countertops and cabinets because as per the contractor, our existing cabinets are not leveled. They asked us to put some material there to fill the gaps by ourselves. We don’t agree with this. The home Depot should take care of this. Upon checking with a customer service person, he said they had some documents signed by us when the payment was made and the document mentioned that this was excluded from their service. I don’t agree with the response and we feel that they should have done the job end to end without leaving such issues.

      I would highly recommend a professional contractor for such jobs and don’t do it through home depot. Purchasing the raw materials is okay but they would take 100% payment in advance but won’t finish your job and leave such things undone! I regret doing my countertop installation through the Home Depot.

      I may not be a frequent customer but now I’ll go out of my way to shop there when I have home Depot related business because the store employees are 10/10 here.

      Especially Jeff. He’s the coolest manager who won’t give you the short end of the stick if something goes wrong.

      Well the supervisor today a young lady denied our military discount because I don’t have a smart phone to download the dumb app. This is by far the rudest dirtiest home depot I have been to. Home depot in general honors veterans. Yet this home depot seems to not care about veterans and will be rude when asking about veterans discount. I left 500 worth of lumber there because of how rude the lady was. California is a very disrespectful place to be.

      No customer service! I asked for help and the lady called over the speaker for someone to meet me in the aisle I needed. I waited 20 minutes, went back to the front, and the lady called on the speaker again. Waited another fifteen minutes and no one came. I gave up and the lady caught me leaving and offered to help. I told her I was going to Lowe’s. They lost a $400 purchase.

      By far the absolute worst experience at a Home Depot! My paint was not correctly color matched because they person decided to make it 5% lighter, I go in they fix it but give me a whole new paint and make me buy it rather than just fixing the one i already bought. While checking out the white male allows everyone else who is white in the self checkout to shelf checkout, but me. This is extremely upsetting being racially profiled, please educate your employees to do better. I wasted nearly an hour at this store on a day where I need to be moving and out of my home by a certain time.

      People were great. This location really was a step above the average. The guys in equipment rental were great and knowledgeable, but also not afraid to say when they didn’t know something and to ask someone else. Big props here for not letting their ego get ahead of them.

      I ordered backsplash 6 days ago and they canceled my order hours after I placed it due to broken stock and no one reached out to tell me. I go up today to pick it up and they inform me in person that it was canceled and I asked why I wasn’t informed and they casually stated that “someone usually does that.” I also stated that this sets me behind because we have an open house next week. No sorry, no let’s try and find a replacement, nothing.       I always preface these reviews of big box stores everyone is familiar with by stating that I write it on the assumption we all know what the store is about and my base line is any Home Depot anywhere. This one is extremely neat and clean. It has a more high end feel, for example the patio furniture area on entering the store is very cozy and inviting. Items on shelf are organized, although some items are still hard to visualize. Like blinds are almost impossible with the way they are set up to find the size and type you are looking for. The tagging system could be set up in a less confusing way. Staff is friendly but also frequently don’t know the section they are in but that is not their fault. A frustrating thing to me at every big box garden center are the dehydrating spring plants. A pet peeve of mine. The last time I was there though, a young lady was on it and I was pleasantly surprised. I was surprised she has watered the Bonnie Plants well, which is cool because every other store in town seems to tell them they are on their own. Also it was frustrating that when I looked online, the website listed the sail shade I wanted as in stock. Once I got there and they checked the store computer it was not in stock at all. All in all a pleasant Hiome Depot that I would recommend.

      Billie at the cash registers is a cranky lady who needs to quit if she is that unhappy in customer service. When we made our purchases today, a price needed to be fixed. She said she had to get a manager. After several minutes of fumbling and getting attitude, I asked her to just get the manager because I was tired of her rolling her eyes at me and my husband. When I asked her to call them because I was tired of her rolling eyes and attitude, she told me to “chill”. This is not the thing to say to a customer when your being cranky with them in the first place! After the manager talked with us, I told her what happened too. Apparently we aren’t the first to complain.

      I stopped in the home Depot for a tool and they had a good selection, got what I needed in minutes. I used the self checkout and there was no wait.

      This is a standard big box hardware store and they have everything you need.

      I have rented trucks from there many times and they have good vehicles and reasonable rates.

      I ordered a mirror and paid 8.99 for delivery. I got it the next day…and it was covered in mold underneath the plastic. See pics. They wouldn’t even answer the phone when I called so I and to call customer service for online orders, who then called them and got ahold of them. It’s obvious this is covered in mold and there’s no way one could miss it . Disgusting and I better get my $ back

      I went to the garden department and there was this assistant, I told her that I didn’t know anything about gardening, so she gave me a class of gardening 101. She showed me the right material I needed to buy. If you plan to go by into the garden, ask for Sarah. You won’t be disappointed. She’ll take great care of you.       Thank you to Taylor and the team at Home Depot SE Austin. We put in a pick-up order for 40 patio pavers. Within 2 hours, we got the confirmation. Headed over and talked with the customer service desk, who told us to go to the contractor pickup. The person manning the checkout had a line so we talked to a couple others who helped us find the pallette of our huge order. Taylor did an amazing job getting the whole pallette in the back of our toyota 4runner. No bumps, no scratches just a perfect fit. Thank you Taylor, great forklift skills!

      Summary: well stocked, knowledgeable staff, and they have a tool rental center.

      The details: most Home Depots appear the same from the outside however once inside, the employees and a local flair to the place by providing personalized service. Also, this particular Home Depot tool rental center which I personally enjoy because they have everything from ladders to tractors. Parking ample but the parking lot has a lot if litter in it which is a bit of a turn off.

      It was so cool temperature wise in there & felt so good getting out of the heat! They were well stocked on the items we were looking for. I loved how we were not bombarded by employees asking us if we needed help. I don’t much like when they do that if I need help I’ll ask thank you. All in all we got what we needed and check out was quick. We did self checkout in gardening.

      I was at the Home Depot today in North Austin and it was pretty quiet in there. Unfortunately, one of the items I needed was at the top of the shelf in the overflow inventory. The ones on the main shelf we’re all gone so I asked one employee to help by retrieving the item the top and they said they would call someone. After waiting about five minutes no one showed up so I asked a second employee the same thing they said they would call someone and after waiting another five minutes and no one showing up I decided to go get one of the tall stairs and retrieve it myself when there’s about 10 employees just standing around this really shouldn’t be on the customer not only is it unsafe it’s crazy that there’s so many employees just standing around and no one helping

      Had time on my hands on a Sunday and remember i needed to transfer my money plant to a bigger pot. I like going to this Home Depot i guess is because the driving condition don’t take me long to get there i hardly get any traffic when coming here from work . Found a few ceramic pots but i didn’t want pay 40 something dollars so went for the $15 one later on i can always get a nicer ceramic pot anyways picked up some soil and was on my way to transfer my plant to a bigger pot. They have a nice viarity of indoor and outdoor plants i took a couple of pictures or the indoor one.
