This place is a wonderland of plants, pots, fish, decorations and more! The warehouse has a variety of products on offer, for a fantastic price when compared to other stores. The staff are friendly and clearly dedicated to their work and all the flora around. The quirky decorations and murals make this a fun experience for all. I would definitely recommend popping by!

Devil’s ivy, also known as pothos, should be one of the first plants on your wish list when starting out on your indoor plant growing journey. Then there are collection-worthy varieties like variegated white and green ‘Marble Queen’ and lime green ‘Neon’ that definitely deserve a place in your indoor jungle.

Mappins has the best value versions of these! Large plants for around $30.

There’s no doubt Mappin’s has a great variety of plants, but out of all the nurseries and businesses I visit this is one I now avoid.

The two plants i’ve historically bought swarmed with pests the second day at home when I isolated them. When I asked for a refund or exchange, they said it was my fault and said I had to buy pest spray.

If it’s just advice on your beautiful new addition your looking for – then just google it. That’s exactly what they did in front of me when I had care questions about a Begonia.

I’ve never been pleased with their prices, either; compared to other sellers, they tend to be a bit more expensive. Save yourself the headache and pest problem, take your business to a seller who will have passionate conversations about your plants and value your patrionage.

Mappin’s really has everything you need!

Originally, I been to the Plant Bunker, but they didn’t have the type of pot I needed. The staff from Plant Bunker suggested I check this place out.

Went here on the 12th of December to pick out a pot. Shallow, deep, small or large, there is a pot for any size you need. They also sell bags of soil in 5kg, 10kg and more. They also have a huge collection of succulents (will definitely come back to revisit this in the future) and types of herbs. Oh, and they have a really neat collection of terrariums and aquarium stuff, like fish tanks and gravel and aquarium plants. Small selection of fish in tanks at the back. Staff there are really cheery and helpful. They always seem busy with tidying up the store, but they will happily help you out if you ask.

There is still the wall of baby-faced pots lol

Overall, a vast catalog of plants and plant pots + saucers. Really happy I visited^^

G world was so much fun I stayed way longer than intended. Stopping to smell the roses influenced the outcome as I tried almost every kind in search of the most fragrant. It was not crowded on this particular Thursday. It was warm and sunny making the casual wander around plants a pleasant experience. So much colour, texture and variety resulted in a distraction of monumental proportions leading to time passing unnoticed. Did buy some herbs in the end. With Lotus Water gardens shop, Collectors Corner and the G world cafe on the same acreage, Gardenworld is a fabulous place to check out for lone visitors, families or groups

In August 2022 I purchased a Camellia Debbie from Garden World. It was very expensive at $79.95.

I contacted Garden World in May this year to inform staff that I was disappointed that it had not grown, was hardly flowering and that side shoots were mere twigs, also that I had amended the soil very well prior to planting. That entire garden bed is healthy and well draining.

Different suggestions/ideas were put forward by Garden World, but no offer at all to refund or exchange.

15 months after purchase, today I dug it up. The roots are fine and have not developed. As suspected, I believe that this was not from healthy stock.

Over several years I had bought other healthy trees from this nursery, but this will be the last, not wasting my time to drive one hour.

Contrary to my usual practice I’ll let the bigger player have a greater share of the pie. Garden World has not taken care of this repeat customer.

My post-response comment- Correcting the assumption of the owner, clearly this was a photo of the plant above ground in a different part of my garden. I would not be that stupid to plant a camellia with no space to grow either side. Please give customers some credit!

Garden World is a must-do experience for the entire family – there is absolutely something for everyone here, and a couple of plants thrown in for good measure ? Collectors will also love this place, and the displays are utterly divine – so inspirational and diverse; you can almost feel your “brown thumb” turning green the longer you walk around ?

First off I had no idea how big this place is. It’s huuuge. We went with the family. The kids loved it.

It was easy to find, there is loads of car parking.

They have a huge selection of pot plants, succulents, outdoor plants, water features, pond stuff, bonsai things, pots, crystals etc and more.

The kids loved it because they had a couple of crystal sections where the kids could pick which they wanted, they also played with the dinosaur statues, magnetic stones and shells etc. (kids age 5 & 9).

There is also a great cafe for when you need a coffee hit.

      Will be going back!

Absolutely stoked with the range and variety at Flower Power – there’s even a beautiful collection of hand made pots. Everything was well kept and healthy, I didn’t see a single gnat or bug hanging around. When I went to repott my small selection of plants, I noticed every single one had an earth worm or grub in the soil!! Can’t be happier with the quality or prices, definitely coming back for more ❤️‍?

Although I live in Melbourne, I ordered two planters online from Flower Power (SYD) (because I absolutely loved them) to be picked up on my next trip to Sydney and I was thoroughly disappointed (Attached are images of what I thought I ordered vs. what I received.).

The colour of both the planters didn’t match what was shown on their website. When asked if we could return it for a refund, they refused and were rude in the way they served us.

Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend.
