They didn’t say anything in response. I ended up making a smaller purchase than I had planned because of this.

I love T.J. Maxx! I go there at least once a week to see what they have. I love that they have Senior Discount day on Mondays, too. The only negative is that you can’t always get what you want due to the rapid turnover of their stock. If you like something, get it right then. But that’s why I like it, there’s always new things at great prices!

Tonight I got here 20 minutes before closing to get my grandmother in law a set of pajamas and didn’t know where the store kept the pj’s and i immediately was helped! Employees are attentive ,kind and helpful! The store was very clean but ,the prices of the merchandise could be better….

Okayyy, I’ll spill the secret. This is my go to TJ Maxx. I have one closer and I always choose this one. They are always clean and very well stocked with regular merchandise AND clearance. I almost always see someone putting out new stuff. Aside from the clothes everything is really well organized and the clothes usually always have multiple size options. Staff is always kind and helpful. I will say be wary that there are some unhoused individuals that stay around the plaza but they have never bothered me and are usually very nice.

Many great selections at this store, from clothing, accessories, jewelry and decor! It was my first time at this location and I wasn’t disappointed. The decor section has many different styles, and they have a bunch of Christmas decoration options as well! It was very well organized, with a very stillness environment with extremely helpful and friendly employees!

They refused to accept the shoes we bought from them, saying that they were worn, but that’s not true, when I bought these shoes they were in the same condition, I think many people tried them on in the store, so they could say that they were worn, it’s not fair. The cashier at the checkout was rude and argued with me. It is a pity that we are regular customers and we have never had any problems. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Belinda the hiring manager is clearly a RACIST!! The way she treated my mom and myself was definitely dismissive. On 09/08/2023 I went into the store on San Jose as I always do at any TJMAXX and my first stop was the jewelry counter. Belinda was assisting other customers but she walked right pass without saying anything or acknowledging me and my mother. She could have least said I’ll be with you in one second but she looked us right in the face and kept walking. I decided to walk away because I didn’t want to let my emotions get the best of me and I wanted to respond in a way that wouldn’t make me look bad. I went to the shirts area which was right across from the counter. Like 3 minutes later another lady walked over and yes she was caucasian, but as soon as that lady got to the counter she asked her if she wanted to look at something and the lady said yes then she said give me a second I’m finishing up with some customers and I’ll be right over. She could have easily said the same thing to us but she chose not to. I thought for a second that I could have been overreacting, but she did the same thing to the next customer that was black. She saw those ladies looking and didn’t say anything to them, she just starting hanging up clothes, so I went and asked her did she work at the jewelry department and her response was that she worked everywhere and then I said well I’m sure those people at the counter need help then she walked over. I’m saying all of this to say I spend a lot of money in T.J.MAXX and if this is the type of things they support I will gladly take my money elsewhere. I will also spread the word on all platforms because everyone needs to know if they do. I don’t support racism and she needs to realize that black people have money too. If she can’t help ALL people then she needs to find another job.

Good selection of items, but some of the clothes they have for sale have holes in them. Lots of seasonal items and the store was clean. The attendant at the dressing room was a bit rude however. Went in at 1PM. She ignored me while I was entering and then yelled at me for not having a number tag when I was walking out. I was never offered one in the first place.

The A/C has been turned off for over a month. This leads to a terrible customer experience. All the other buildings have A/C so not quite sure why you all don’t. Other than that the store is great. The employees are absolute heros for working in that humid, sweltering building. Absolutely shocking working conditions. If I worked there I’d sue for sure. Shame on you guys.

BEWARE!! Shopping at TJ Maxx on Brodie Lane, i’m usually a clearance shopper and that’s where you’ll find me. I found some bikini bottoms that were in the clearance section for 799 went into the fitting room to try them on. The little tag popped off a plastic bat on went to go pay for my purchases. The lady said this is a two piece I said yes I understand. I couldn’t find it so I just want the bottoms. She then went to get the manager who went to go look for something similar for $13.99 I couldn’t believe they try to overcharge me.
I tried myself looking for something similar and couldn’t find it and I just saw a well. I’m sure they will honor the price. I was WRONG! The management and staff are very rude. Except for a couple gals (older cashier) and dressing room lady she likes to talk and engage. The rest do not care to talk to you at all. Especially the manager (talk male) WED 7/19/23, They are just trying to push us out like we are cattle. I will never go to this TJ Maxx again!!

No AC, no computers, no returns, no solutions, no help. Truly I love TJ max and everything they have to offer but when one employee says yes to my 12 week old pup sitting in the cart and being met with a “you are wanting to hold all of that?” And the manager passing customers and ignoring their questions while coming to my tote and saying “yeah so I cannot hold that”. Santiago the store manager has no sense. Found a shirt that I needed for an event and looked that it was part of a 2 piece set. Unfortunately the bottoms were nowhere to be found. Probably since the store is extremely messy. Regardless, he would not sell me the top and said they would wait a week to put it on clearance. I don’t understand why he couldn’t just discount it and make a sale tonight. No customer service whatsoever.

The dressing room closes at 8pm when the store closes at 9:30????? Rudish older curly haired lady working the floor told me to my face that yes I could put them on hold until tomorrow and come back and try them on. Waited in line 20 minutes to do so only to be told they only can hold them until the end of the day. Y’all deserve a big basket of clothes to put back at that point. I was so excited to come back for them yet the lady acted like I was the problem when I didn’t want to buy any of it right then and there after she said I couldn’t hold it or try it on!?
