Went to this store with my daughter on a Saturday. They have as huge selection of stuffed animals, lots of accessories too, which is awesome. Though, the lines were INSANE… Spent 1.5+ hours to buy one toy.. not acceptable… ??????

Just stop by there after long hours in a road trip. Mid day and midweek no one is there very quite. Great customer service, shout out to DIRK he was so helpful to fix my little ones bear. He was helpful to assist also in the cashier with my girls while learning their math????Got few outfits for their furry friends overall very satisfied ??

Don’t waste your time… We took our two year-old here for her birthday.

After waiting for 10 minutes we finally got our turn to fill the birthday bear, but then we were told we should go to another area to record our voices.

After we went back in line, we waited another five minutes, but then we were told that we were in the wrong line. Even after we told both employee and the manager that we had already been there for a long period of time around 20 minutes, The manager still told us that we have to go out the back of the line. The manager!?!?

We were very disappointed as this was our daughters first bear. We were polite and patient but very surprised that the manager did not care to listen or help us out.

I have been coming here ever since I was a kid (I have 20 bears growing up) and am disappointed our daughter will not share the same happiness.

      What happened to this store?

We got a birthday bear for my three year old son. We had a really great experience building the bear and both kids loved the bear. The staff was very kind.

We took our daughter for her first birthday bear and the lady working that day was so nice and answered all of our questions and helped us figure out how it works. Cute selection and really fun to do together as a family!

Plant store and collectibles all in one store? Super neat! They have a good variety of plants inside. Pothos, hoyas, etc. I was super tempted to buy a bulbasaur planter as well… Lots of entertaining items to look at! A little bit of sensory overload.

The prices can be pretty steep… but the variety is definitely there and they have some fairly rare items to offer. This is a great place to shop for a gift for a friend. I was especially attracted to their plushies and mystery box re-ment items!

It’s a small place, but they have so many items you can’t find anywhere else. Prices are comparable to buying through an importer, but you can have an item right away instead of waiting for shipping and in perfect condition. The people that were working were super nice and very helpful. I can’t wait to come back in a couple of weeks and see what new stuff they have!

This little store is super cute! They have a small selection of figurines, some Funko Pops, art prints, and a variety of plants/planters. My new begonia looks great in my room. The owner was also knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Toy Store in San Jose CA: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at a toy store, there are certain rules and guidelines that you should be aware of to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. These rules not only help maintain order in the store but also promote safety and an overall pleasant shopping environment for everyone involved.

Here are some rules to keep in mind while shopping at a toy store:

    • Stay within designated areas: Stick to the areas designated for shopping and avoid entering restricted or staff-only areas.
    • Limit the number of toys to try before purchasing: While it may be tempting to test out every toy in the store, limit the number you try to maintain order and fairness for other customers.
    • Respect other shoppers: Be considerate of other customers by not blocking aisles or displays and by maintaining a reasonable volume level when talking or interacting with others.
    • Follow age recommendations: Pay attention to age recommendations and restrictions for toys, as they are in place for the safety and appropriateness of the child using the toy.
    • Handle toys with care: Treat the toys in the store with respect and handle them gently to avoid damaging them. If you accidentally damage a toy, notify a staff member and offer to pay for the damages.
    • Keep an eye on your children: If you are shopping with children, ensure they are supervised at all times and that they follow the rules and guidelines as well.
    • Ask for assistance: If you are unsure about a product, need help locating an item, or have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask a staff member for assistance.
    • Pay attention to return policies: Familiarize yourself with the toy store’s return policy before making a purchase, so you know what to do if you need to return or exchange an item.

While these rules may vary slightly depending on the specific toy store, they generally provide a solid foundation for a positive shopping experience. By being mindful of these guidelines, you can ensure that your visit to the toy store is both enjoyable and respectful to others.

The absolute perfect store for gifts and stocking stuffers.

They have lots of toys, candy, shirts with sayings, tech, etc. I recommend coming here first to try to find a gift or last for filler or for the final touch.

The makeup and self care is expanding and they have some very popular products sold at others stores as well.

They have cool things to buy for gifts. The line was crazy ridiculous the few days before Christmas at the Denton highway location. But 20 minutes later at the Hurst location by the mall it was no where near crazy. We were in and out like normal. Overall I like the variety of things offered.

As a long time Star Wars fan I was totally blown away with this place. It brought back so many great memories from my childhood seeing these treasures again. I actually found a lot of stuff I’m needing. I even found parts to fix my old original X-Wing toy! And Stephanie was so phenomenal in helping me, extremely knowledgeable and a blast to talk too. It felt like I was visiting a friend. Excellent customer service!!! Absolutely can not wait to visit and do business with them again.

BUYERS Be Aware!! We visited this store on our Texas Vacation. We bought a collectors Star Wars T shirt along with other Holocron store logo items. When we returned home to wash the shirt. The entire shirt fell apart as soon as the shirt touched cold water. (See Photo) I asked for a refund and was told “Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund for this item as our store has a no returns or refunds policy, and the event occurred at home after the purchase of the vintage item. We apologize for the inconvenience.” Very poor Customer Service!! Watch your purchases they don’t stand by their products.

Went in a couple of weeks ago to kill some time before a concert and everybody was so friendly and helpful, the store was perfectly laid out to where everything I was looking for was easy to find. Riley walked me around and was super helpful with all my questions and even helped me find some good Admiral Ackbar merchandise that I’d been looking for for a while. Highly recommend this if you’re ever in the area and I would definitely come back the next time I’m in town.

Toy Store in Fort Worth TX: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at a toy store, there are some rules that you should follow to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. These rules help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, as well as make the shopping process more enjoyable for all shoppers and staff.

    • Respect staff and other shoppers: Treat all staff members and fellow shoppers with kindness and respect. Avoid any behavior that may disrupt others’ shopping experience.
    • Supervise your children: Keep a close eye on your children while shopping in a toy store. Make sure they are not causing any damage to products or disturbing other shoppers.
    • Follow store policies: Adhere to any policies or guidelines set by the toy store. This may include rules regarding returns, exchanges, discounts, or payment methods.
    • Handle toys with care: When browsing or inspecting toys, handle them gently and carefully. Avoid causing any damage or breaking any parts.
    • Put items back where you found them: After examining a toy but deciding not to purchase it, place it back in its original location. Avoid leaving toys scattered around the store.
    • Do not open packaging: Unless given permission by store staff, do not open any packaging or remove security tags from toys. This helps maintain the integrity of the products.

While there are rules to follow when shopping at a toy store, there are also some things you don’t necessarily have to worry about:

    • Feeling obligated to buy: It’s okay to browse and take your time without feeling pressured to make a purchase. You have the right to choose what to buy and what not to.
    • Buying based on gender stereotypes: Don’t feel confined by societal norms or gender stereotypes when purchasing toys. Choose toys that align with your child’s interests rather than focusing on gender-specific options.
    • Buying the most expensive toys: Expensive toys don’t always guarantee the best play experiences. Keep in mind your child’s preferences, developmental needs, and your budget when selecting toys.
    • Being too serious: Remember that toy stores are meant to be fun! Enjoy the experience, explore different toys, and let yourself embrace a childlike sense of wonder.

I love shopping here, and so does the rest of my family. There is great customer service and it’s never way too crowded during most times of the year unless there is a big drop. Many employees have also helped me find a specific set of figures through blind bags and also opened up an entirely new box just to help me find the right ones. Definitely worth shopping at this location.

I had a fantastic experience at the Lego store! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a colorful and immersive world of creativity. The store was meticulously organized, making it easy to find the perfect Lego sets.

The staff at the store were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all things Lego. They patiently answered my questions and even offered great suggestions for sets that matched my interests. Their enthusiasm for Lego was contagious, making my visit even more enjoyable.

The variety of Lego sets available was impressive, catering to builders of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned Lego enthusiast or a beginner, this store has something for everyone.

The Lego store also had a fantastic Pick-a-Brick wall where you could handpick individual Lego pieces, allowing for endless customization and creativity. Additionally, the Build-Your-Own-Minifigure station was a lot of fun, letting you create unique characters to take home.

Overall, the Lego store provided a memorable and delightful experience for anyone who loves Lego. It’s a must-visit for fans of all ages, and I can’t wait to go back for more brick-building adventures!

So cool! The workers were nice and caring and gave great suggestions! The building is kept up well and nicely. I’m definitely coming back here soon. My only complaint is the traffic. I’m not sure if it is the area or if it the fact that this the only lego store in Jacksonville. I recommend coming here!

This was a unique experience to take my girlfriend to. they have a variety of different types of stuff, animals, to fan favorites like pokemon,Lord of the Rings, and many more to give your build a bear a unique look. The staff were very helpful and friendly to help us with our questions.

Visited early today to beat the Saturday rush, as I had a couple of secondhand bears I wanted to restuff and put scents in. The employee stuffing the bears, River, was super sweet and patient, he did a great job! Everyone was very kind and welcoming, I had a great experience. Thank you! I will be back!

Had a corporate party there yesterday with 15 kids. The staff who led our party, Brandy and Drew were amazing! They went out of their way to make sure every kid had a special and fun time and to make sure that I was informed of what the party was doing and the next steps. I highly recommend hosting a party for your child here! Thanks for making all the kids feel special!

It was okay. It was nothing like when I was younger and went to build a bear. We took our one year old daughter and it just felt transactional. There wasn’t any “magic” or special-ness to it like it was when I was young. They don’t do the dance or wishes or kisses for the heart you put in your bear, they don’t let you hug it to make sure it’s the perfect squishiness nothing. It was sad. Don’t think we will ever do it again.

One of my favorite spots downtown. They not only have a large selection of classic arcade games but they also offer a large selection of local Austin beers and ciders. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating and enthusiastically answered all my questions about the various toy collections and classic video games they have available to play. Who knew someone actually still owns a functioning Virtual Boy ? Kids will enjoy the classic games and their parents will revert back to their inner 8 year old selves when they relive their fond memories of N64 and endless hours playing with their cherished childhood toys. The new space is more than twice the size of the previous space and has allowed for an ever growing toy collection in display. They also have a large classic toy selection available for purchase. Definitely worth the time if you are in downtown Austin and want to go on a fantastic nostalgia trip and enjoy a beer while doing it !

My husband and I were visiting Austin for the weekend and walked from our hotel to the Toy Museum. It was $17 per adult. They had a small selection of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages in the lobby that was also a ‘gift shop’.

The games were easy enough to access and play. The entire place was very crowded though and kind of thrown together. Apparently it’s their new location so they did have signs up saying display in progress.

Unless they are able to condense or rearrange the display cases and games, the ‘museum’ part is not easy to view.

They did have lots of really great toys. Hopefully they will put more effort into making them easier to view all of them.

Came out of town and this was one of our stops. It’s a cool, small toy museum but arcade joysticks were not completely functional or had sticky buttons. I wish it had more to it but we were thrilled by seeing some of our childhood toys! .

Super fun time. Brings you back in you lived in the 80s and 90s. A couple things could be cleaner but they have some really cool things. Play unlimited games for $17. I wanted to stay longer but definitely worth checking it out.

Really cool retro toy museam with arcade games. I’m only rating 4 stars because it’s a little cramped, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since there is so much to see. The scavenger hunt fun, so be sure to try that. I had a blast playing the arcade games, too.

I had an absolutely lovely visit today! The store is very charming, fits a surprising amount of things for it’s amount of space while still being organised, and has prices that are surprisingly affordable for a toy store. The cashier was super nice, too, I liked the atmosphere a lot. I bought a stuffed animal armadillo and some little animal good luck charms and have 0 buyers remorse.

This place was so fun! They had pretty much everything from nostalgic 90s books to anime figurines. I mean seriously, books, board games, stuffed animals, pins, figurines, they have it all!! Great place to find a little Studio Ghibli, super heros, Rilukkuma, Hello Kitty, Scooby Doo, anime, I mean I felt like they literally had something for everyone. Such a fun store and I’ll definitely be back.

      September 2023:

Toy Joy is a place to find that hard to find toy or collectable. You can literally spend a long time just browsing around looking at all the merchandise from international markets. This is one of my main places to shop for the holidays.

My family was visiting Austin and we found this place to be overpriced on a lot of the toys they had. I am also a collector so I know overpriced when I see it. They were kinda rude and not very friendly at all. My wife asked for my toodler to use the restroom and the person there looked at my kids and looked like he didn’t know what to say. Then after a few awkward moments, we were told to go to candy store next door. We ended up leaving very disappointed with this place.
