Could not be happier with their service. I have used another service in the past but compared to before, these guys are very professional from the beginning to thr end. They communications was fast and prompt and the inspection and reporting was clear and detailed.

I wouldn’t recommended paying the extra money for the faster turnaround of 24hrs because I did this and an hour after the deadline I had to chase the results and had already had the people waiting on the results from me chasing me. When I asked whether they would then charge me the standard fee, not the higher “faster” turnaround fee, the best they could do was offer me a 50% discount on future testing if done within a year. I am not a commercial business and so will not be getting further testing done within a year and so I basically wasted my money paying for the faster turnaround. I was told that the lab got a lot of samples in, but that is not the customer’s issue, that is the business, particularly when a customer has to pay extra for an earlier turnaround that isn’t met.

Provided testing and advice to rectify a bad and unsafe asbestos removal job by another company. Advice and report provided were excellent, thorough and detailed. Very professional, helpful and accommodating. Were happy to provide further feedback over the phone and able to come at quite short notice to provide a clearance report for when the site was fixed up. Happy to recommend!

We had an inspection done after a mould outbreak in our rental property and I cannot recommend highly enough.

During the inspection David, the consultant, was extremely helpful with our questions; and the report was thorough and well laid out, providing enough evidence that the conversations with our Real Estate drastically changed tone when we delivered it to them.

The report shed so much light on the causes of our health conditions and information we needed to make the tough decisions about our possessions.

I ordered a home mould and air testing kit. I guess during transit, an air tester seal had stuck to one of the gloves (that come in the kit), so the tester cassette was open (see pic). The instructions said to hold the air tester pump at least 30cm away from any surface for 5 mins. Am I a surface LOL, because I would struggle to hold something 30cm away from me for 5 minutes while keeping it as still as possible. I rang IECL and asked if I could put it on a tripod – the really nice guy who answered said yes.

I did the tests and sent them back to IECL. I waited over a week and called IECL. Cassandra answered. I gave her my info and asked to please check if the mould report was on its way. Cassandra snapped at me “We emailed that to you 5 days ago!” Okay, my bad, nothing else from IECL had gone to junk so I didn’t check there. I asked if there was an option where she could access the report and go through it with me? Cassandra replied, and I quote, “YOU CAN READ THROUGH IT YOURSELF!”. WOAH. Yes, I was aware of that, darling snapping turtle who is somehow teething and in the middle of a rough divorce and in day 2 of quitting smoking all at the same time. I was hoping to get an expert to explain it so I felt I had gotten value out of the large sum of money I paid. Cassandra went on to snap “it’s all in there in the report, it’s all clear.” I was speaking quietly and calmly, so Cassandra wasn’t being rude in response to rudeness.

The phone call ended and I started going through the report, which I found bewildering. As there are blank entries in some of the tables it is literally not “all there”. I googled different types of mould and technical terms and got more confused. Frustrated, I rang IECL back and luckily Kobi answered. Kobi said, of the report “let me open it so we can go through it together”. Kobi gets it! Kobi was professional, kind, patient and did her best to answer my questions – although the most vital was unanswered as IECL can’t say if the mould is affecting my asthma. They ask for another k “and upwards” to inspect the cause of the mould. Kobi encouraged me to reach out if I had any more questions, which I did as I still didn’t understand the report fully (still don’t, really).

I half wish I had spent the money on mould removal instead. But ah well it’s good to know what I am dealing with I guess.

Kobi gets 5 stars, Cassandra (etc) don’t warrant that. Here’s your non-5 star review, IECL, you can read through it yourself *snaps fingers* lols
