Thank you to Taylor and the team at Home Depot SE Austin. We put in a pick-up order for 40 patio pavers. Within 2 hours, we got the confirmation. Headed over and talked with the customer service desk, who told us to go to the contractor pickup. The person manning the checkout had a line so we talked to a couple others who helped us find the pallette of our huge order. Taylor did an amazing job getting the whole pallette in the back of our toyota 4runner. No bumps, no scratches just a perfect fit. Thank you Taylor, great forklift skills!

Summary: well stocked, knowledgeable staff, and they have a tool rental center.

The details: most Home Depots appear the same from the outside however once inside, the employees and a local flair to the place by providing personalized service. Also, this particular Home Depot tool rental center which I personally enjoy because they have everything from ladders to tractors. Parking ample but the parking lot has a lot if litter in it which is a bit of a turn off.

Seems like the pro desk is the slowest way to check out these days. It seems Home Depot doesn’t really care too much for their pro customers. I’ve waited for over an hour to check out. And it’s like this every morning. You would think one of these 50 people walking around could be put to better use.

It was so cool temperature wise in there & felt so good getting out of the heat! They were well stocked on the items we were looking for. I loved how we were not bombarded by employees asking us if we needed help. I don’t much like when they do that if I need help I’ll ask thank you. All in all we got what we needed and check out was quick. We did self checkout in gardening.

I was at the Home Depot today in North Austin and it was pretty quiet in there. Unfortunately, one of the items I needed was at the top of the shelf in the overflow inventory. The ones on the main shelf we’re all gone so I asked one employee to help by retrieving the item the top and they said they would call someone. After waiting about five minutes no one showed up so I asked a second employee the same thing they said they would call someone and after waiting another five minutes and no one showing up I decided to go get one of the tall stairs and retrieve it myself when there’s about 10 employees just standing around this really shouldn’t be on the customer not only is it unsafe it’s crazy that there’s so many employees just standing around and no one helping

This store will waste your time with items that say they are in-stock online then all gone or missing in store. There was supposed to be NINE $54 platforms available, the Associate’s couldn’t find them anywhere. Going to Lowe’s instead, their credit card is better anyhow.

Had time on my hands on a Sunday and remember i needed to transfer my money plant to a bigger pot. I like going to this Home Depot i guess is because the driving condition don’t take me long to get there i hardly get any traffic when coming here from work . Found a few ceramic pots but i didn’t want pay 40 something dollars so went for the $15 one later on i can always get a nicer ceramic pot anyways picked up some soil and was on my way to transfer my plant to a bigger pot. They have a nice viarity of indoor and outdoor plants i took a couple of pictures or the indoor one.

Food is definitely overpriced, everything in general. What I hear everyone say is that security’s don’t act with professionalism, I didn’t think I would find out on my own, but I was asked to move & they do come off as very rude. They can do better!

Not a good experience for me. Mostly kids stuff and food. Not much for shopping. Mostly Spanish foods and cultural. Bit expensive for the type of place it is. The picture is what I ate. 21.00 !! For these 3 tacos and bit of soup. There are many food trucks/places. So not all are the same.

One of my favorite spots downtown. They not only have a large selection of classic arcade games but they also offer a large selection of local Austin beers and ciders. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating and enthusiastically answered all my questions about the various toy collections and classic video games they have available to play. Who knew someone actually still owns a functioning Virtual Boy ? Kids will enjoy the classic games and their parents will revert back to their inner 8 year old selves when they relive their fond memories of N64 and endless hours playing with their cherished childhood toys. The new space is more than twice the size of the previous space and has allowed for an ever growing toy collection in display. They also have a large classic toy selection available for purchase. Definitely worth the time if you are in downtown Austin and want to go on a fantastic nostalgia trip and enjoy a beer while doing it !

My husband and I were visiting Austin for the weekend and walked from our hotel to the Toy Museum. It was $17 per adult. They had a small selection of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages in the lobby that was also a ‘gift shop’.

The games were easy enough to access and play. The entire place was very crowded though and kind of thrown together. Apparently it’s their new location so they did have signs up saying display in progress.

Unless they are able to condense or rearrange the display cases and games, the ‘museum’ part is not easy to view.

They did have lots of really great toys. Hopefully they will put more effort into making them easier to view all of them.

Came out of town and this was one of our stops. It’s a cool, small toy museum but arcade joysticks were not completely functional or had sticky buttons. I wish it had more to it but we were thrilled by seeing some of our childhood toys! .

Super fun time. Brings you back in you lived in the 80s and 90s. A couple things could be cleaner but they have some really cool things. Play unlimited games for $17. I wanted to stay longer but definitely worth checking it out.

Really cool retro toy museam with arcade games. I’m only rating 4 stars because it’s a little cramped, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since there is so much to see. The scavenger hunt fun, so be sure to try that. I had a blast playing the arcade games, too.

I had an absolutely lovely visit today! The store is very charming, fits a surprising amount of things for it’s amount of space while still being organised, and has prices that are surprisingly affordable for a toy store. The cashier was super nice, too, I liked the atmosphere a lot. I bought a stuffed animal armadillo and some little animal good luck charms and have 0 buyers remorse.

This place was so fun! They had pretty much everything from nostalgic 90s books to anime figurines. I mean seriously, books, board games, stuffed animals, pins, figurines, they have it all!! Great place to find a little Studio Ghibli, super heros, Rilukkuma, Hello Kitty, Scooby Doo, anime, I mean I felt like they literally had something for everyone. Such a fun store and I’ll definitely be back.

Toy Joy is a place to find that hard to find toy or collectable. You can literally spend a long time just browsing around looking at all the merchandise from international markets. This is one of my main places to shop for the holidays.

My family was visiting Austin and we found this place to be overpriced on a lot of the toys they had. I am also a collector so I know overpriced when I see it. They were kinda rude and not very friendly at all. My wife asked for my toodler to use the restroom and the person there looked at my kids and looked like he didn’t know what to say. Then after a few awkward moments, we were told to go to candy store next door. We ended up leaving very disappointed with this place.

This mall is one of the better ones in Austin! It’s pretty clean for the most part and has a good variety of stores and restaurants. With that comes lots of crowds! It’s never too hard to find parking, though, as there is a lot available. As with every mall, store employees and customer service will be different in each store. Some stores have no music playing and the employees won’t even look up from their phones (AKA Pokemaniacs, speciality shops and most toy stores), while others have an over abundance of customer service (like Bath & Body works). There were some flies bothering us in the food court, but other than that, we really enjoy coming here to shop!

Not a great mall but not bad either. Some stores are really good like Fabletics, LL, Macys, JCPenney etc but Starbucks and Dillards have bad service. They have a lot of bias. Definitely prefer Lakeline mall better than this one. The food court doesn’t have many vegetarian options too. We ended up eating in Charlie Philly steakhouse and it was okay. Even my husbands chipotle chicken cheesesteak didn’t taste that good. Overall some stores are really good and some are really bad.

Great selection with over 100 stores and a Giant Food Court. Tons of little candy stores, jewelry stores, wireless stores, shoe stores…. And everything your teenager will desire. The AMC theater is also great ….so in general this is a great mall experience and a great place to drop off the kids for a nice Saturday.

It’s in the safest part of town so I have always felt very comfortable here and even allowing the kids to browse a little bit on their own.

Summary: Decent parking, fun play ground for the kiddies.

The details: This place is clean and has a lot of stores to choose from. Some of my personal favorites are Carter’s and Amy’s ice cream. Beware though, the cute electric rides for kids don’t all work and will swallow your money. If you need a place to do some shopping and let the kids play on a super duper play structure under the shade of a huge Oak Tree, this is your spot. Tip: Jason’s deli has ice cream too, it’s help yourself though only chocolate or vanilla.

Enjoy shopping and eating at the businesses of South Park Meeadows. The biggest issue I ever have is the homeless population is ever present, which increases my safety concerns when shopping ? alone or with my kids.

I recently purchased some cleaning cloths, and food storage items from Marshall’s. And so far, I’m not feeling good about a couple. ??Thumbs down on the “joie” Onion Pod. The onion still stunk up my refrigerator. ??And a HUGE NEVER BUY AGAIN, to “casabella” for packaging unsanitary cleaning clothes. Photo’s included. Buyer beware??

This March this location is conveniently located in the south park meadows Plaza. The selection here is great, plenty of variety, and the staff is always friendly. I definitely recommend coming by and checking the store out. Also it is best to come early in the day or later in the evening to avoid the long lines.

I recently visited this Lululemon location and had an amazing experience thanks to Jess.

She was not only knowledgeable about the products, but also incredibly attentive to my needs. Jess encouraged me to try on some pieces I wouldn’t have thought to try on myself and helped me find the perfect shirt (first Lululemon purchase, and I was just visiting Austin from Toronto!)

Her expertise and genuine interest in helping me find what I was looking for made all the difference. Jess was supportive and I didn’t feel pressured or stressed while shopping…

While we have plenty of Lululemon stores in Toronto, I’d likely swing by this store next time I’m visiting! The store may not be the biggest, but Jess is truly a gem!

Today was my first time trying on lululemon leggings. Honestly I was sooo intimidated and had no idea where to begin. Not even a minute went by before I was greeted by the staff. They were so beyond helpful!! I tried on one pair, didn’t work – they didn’t hesitate to help me find other options in my length and size. 8 pairs later WE found the perfect pair! I was so blown away by the care, kindness, and patience with literally EVERY single lululemon “educator” – I have been schooled! The intimidation and nervousness I had about even going into a Lululemon store has now been wiped clean. Beat expectations and the above and beyond customer care make these leggings feel even better. Thank you to the Barton creek staff today for bringing me comfort and joy – and of course helping me find my perfect leggings finally after 12 years.

I had an awesome experience with one of the saleswoman helping me. Then I get to the checkout line and they won’t let me use my nurse discount despite me Having my badge in me. Absolutely ridiculous for a store that is already expensive. And on top of that they advertise they support healthcare workers but clearly they don’t. I should have refused the sale but i was in such a state of shock I just went ahead and purchased. Will be returning. How can I support a company that doesn’t support me?

Bethany at this location is incredibly rude and and dismissive. I’ve never had a problem with the quality of Lululemon, but the seams of my 1.5 year old aligns was coming undone from the hips. She asked what I’d been using them for and I replied Pilates. She scoffed at me and told them I was using them wrong and they were only for Yoga….lol it’s not like I was using them for running or CrossFit. I asked her a couple more questions to try to educate myself and she continued huffing acting as if I was wasting her time. Everyone else there was great- the people working the dressing room were very nice. Then I went back to try on something else and Bethany was working the dressing room instead. She didn’t say a word to me upon exiting the dressing room, while the man that had previously been there asked how things worked and offered to get me a different size on exiting the dressing room. So unfortunate that this location has such poor leadership! Never had an issue at any other location- go to the Domain location instead of you have issues with this one.

BEWARE!! Shopping at TJ Maxx on Brodie Lane, i’m usually a clearance shopper and that’s where you’ll find me. I found some bikini bottoms that were in the clearance section for 799 went into the fitting room to try them on. The little tag popped off a plastic bat on went to go pay for my purchases. The lady said this is a two piece I said yes I understand. I couldn’t find it so I just want the bottoms. She then went to get the manager who went to go look for something similar for $13.99 I couldn’t believe they try to overcharge me. I tried myself looking for something similar and couldn’t find it and I just saw a well. I’m sure they will honor the price. I was WRONG! The management and staff are very rude. Except for a couple gals (older cashier) and dressing room lady she likes to talk and engage. The rest do not care to talk to you at all. Especially the manager (talk male) WED 7/19/23, They are just trying to push us out like we are cattle. I will never go to this TJ Maxx again!!

No AC, no computers, no returns, no solutions, no help. Truly I love TJ max and everything they have to offer but when one employee says yes to my 12 week old pup sitting in the cart and being met with a “you are wanting to hold all of that?” And the manager passing customers and ignoring their questions while coming to my tote and saying “yeah so I cannot hold that”. Great service guys. Image is of the tote that I wanted to hold.

Santiago the store manager has no sense. Found a shirt that I needed for an event and looked that it was part of a 2 piece set. Unfortunately the bottoms were nowhere to be found. Probably since the store is extremely messy. Regardless, he would not sell me the top and said they would wait a week to put it on clearance. I don’t understand why he couldn’t just discount it and make a sale tonight. No customer service whatsoever.

The dressing room closes at 8pm when the store closes at 9:30????? Rudish older curly haired lady working the floor told me to my face that yes I could put them on hold until tomorrow and come back and try them on. Waited in line 20 minutes to do so only to be told they only can hold them until the end of the day. Y’all deserve a big basket of clothes to put back at that point. I was so excited to come back for them yet the lady acted like I was the problem when I didn’t want to buy any of it right then and there after she said I couldn’t hold it or try it on!?
