      Delivery order. My first time trying Oporto. Whole chicken was tasty and cooked well. The ideal balance of soft/succulent bits and crunchy bits. No-baste option. Chips weren’t amazing. Soft and soggy, and don’t think that’s all on the delivery rider. Edamame salad was a good portion, but the sauce was a bit overpowering and the beans were overcooked so had lost their crunch and brightness. Happy with the meal, and thrilled they were open late!!

      This restaurant is carried by the staff. I mean the food was pretty good however, the two staff members I interacted with were happy to help and made me feel very welcomed. My mate and I got the fam meal – it was A lot of food! overall the food was very good quality but honestly nothing toooo much to write home about – but you will be nourished if you come here.

      Overall great spot – but I can’t stress how lovely the staff members were – especially the girl on the front counter. 🙂

      Chicken is consistently good in any Oporto branch; however, this Fortitude Valley branch is the worse in terms of service made even worst by the Indian guy who quarreled with me when I asked for extra sauce to accompany my whole chicken order. He was rude, condescending and unpleasant.

They made me a fresh one but it had no Oprego sauce or cheese, just a dry, tasteless burger. I think I’m going to give up on Oportos altogether. More misses than hits and the inflated $17 for a meal just can’t be justified when you can’t even get what you paid for

      I ordered an Oprego and El Troppo, both burgers came with one piece of chicken, wilted lettuce and sauce, nothing else! Are the burgers made fresh? As it didnt look or taste like it. Don’t waste your money here. Never again will I go to an Oporto’s.

      The chips were stale but had been re fried and re salted and the chicken had hair in it, I told the manager that I had hair in my food and he sighed and asked if I wanted a new one or if I could take the hair out!       I love Oportos but this is the worst Oportos in Sydney. Poor food quality, actually got food poisoning from a burger I had here & poor service too. Lots of room for improvement on cleanliness & staff need more training to comply with WHS standards. Shockingly terrible ??

      I’ve always liked Oporto as a fast food restaurant since I was a child. Portuguese style chicken burgers especially their Bondi burgers are delicious and are far superior to those of KFC and McDonald’s. If you’re feeling like a fast food chain this is one worth trying. Regards @fooderarri

      Absolute disregard for food safety. My visit was on the 10th of Feb at roughly 3:45pm. I watched the worker go on his phone, drink from his water bottle and screw the cap on, touch the fridges handles and some more. Then immediately go ahead and start making my family and myself’s food. I pulled him up on it, to which he paused and looked up at me like I said something wrong. I told him to change his gloves and explained to him how what he was doing was unsafe practice for food safety. He seemed quite unimpressed with my suggestion and his co worker seemed the same. As someone who worked in hospitality myself, I don’t think this is a single problem with this worker, but more a cultural disregard for food safety at this specific Oporto. Wouldn’t Recommend

      Please have one more person at least on Sunday . Just Two staff members working on afternoon . Every customer seems unhappy after ordering. We ordered two meals and I received it after 20 minutes, spicy bolas and fries were undercooked.

      Here was my order! Bondi burger with no chilli Chips Churros

      The only thing I got that was the same was the chips. The burger was nothing like what I ordered it had chilli and bacon, the churros never came, and we got chicken we didn’t even ask for. Our order was completely different to what we asked for. Seriously need to get your staff in order. Ordered from balcatta.

      The staff member constantly disengaged with me (the customer) to talk with a colleague. I was handed a laminated piece of paper covered in numbers and asked to pick one. When I wanted an explanation he ran off again to talk with a colleague. Somehow I got more insurance, as the price went up, but I received no receipt for this extra service.

      I was really interested to drive a Suzuki swift. That was the car I booked but got a Toyota.

      The car was far from new. Would not be a problem but with everything else being average the car was also.

      I had a better experience at Avis previously. I will book with them next time.

      Asked budget about the charges we had and that going through qeeq to book that they took a deposit but budget charged the full amount, the reply was just to look at your invoice for the costs and doesn’t mention qeeq at all! Not helpful!! So In other words paid extra $125 for nothing! It feels like the aim is not to answer your questions but to confuse you further with charges that doesn’t make sense to most people to wear you down to give up asking

      Really grateful for the excellent service and support from Budget on our last trip. Good price with a daily rental and helped us with a last minute change of car specification without any problem. Unfortunately left a usb drive in the car but this was located by Budget manager and staff then forwarded on to us in Adelaide by express post within a day.       Do not under any circumstances hire a car from Budget (and by extension, Avis). They have been nothing but horrific to deal with. The staff at the counter were friendly enough, but the service overall was disgusting.

      I was charged a $1100 hold on my credit card which was reimbursed to me 3 days after the return of the car, this amount was then deducted from another card of mine. Fair enough. However they placed another hold for $300 for the Zero Excess scheme which was to also be released to me however it had not been 2 weeks later.

      I called Budget and was told to call my bank with a reversal code they provided to me. I called my bank and they said no, Budget is to release this hold. I called Budget back and they said their system timed out on their end when processing the reversal so they would need to send a fax to the bank requesting the hold be released. They advised this would take another 15 business days.

      That is simply appalling. The hire car itself was fine. The service however was deplorable. Not to mention the grift they charge you on tolls. If someone has a gun to your head and insists you hire a car through Budget, bring your own toll tag (Linkt can help with that) and be prepared for them to screw you around with your own money.

      Cherry-picking good moments here, but the 3 young fellas at the counter were very friendly and easy to deal with when picking up the car. And a fella by the name of James in customer support was eager to help rectify the error.

      Don’t recommend them they not professional they tell you and agree something with you then they do the opposite. I hired a car from them fro one day only which is 24H only when i returned the car for them With a full tank of fuel was less than 24H renting. After 2 days I got the invoice from them saying I used the car for 33H the fuel tank wasn’t fully and I didn’t drop the car at the same pickup location. I emailed them they said we’ll get back to you asap unfortunately no one get back to me. don’t go with them be careful.

      My friend and I rented a truck for the day from this store. Unfortunately, there seems to be a disparity between this company’s call centre and the actual service given- because we were incorrectly advised that Budget had customer parking at this office. The call centre also incorrectly advised the vehicle excess would be waived. And to make matters worse, despite booking through the website, the trolley we’d ordered for our truck was apparently not available at this Budget location- despite the website allowing us to book it. Which meant we incurred extra costs and extra time having to go to the closest Bunnings that had a trolley to hire- which was 18km away.

      The staff at the counter were not very helpful and seemed more interested in passing the blame than resolving the error- which we were very unimpressed with. Even if it’s someone else’s fault, if you are representing the company, you should do more to remediate the situation- especially when it comes at great inconvenience to the customer. The only saving grace was that a different staff member who seemed to be more customer service oriented did his best to help us- and he actually apologised to us for the error, despite it not being his fault. The front counter staff on the other hand, were completely unapologetic and unsympathetic. Usually in these circumstances, a credit or discount of some sort is offered to remediate the inconvenience caused- especially given we had to use more time on the booking and more petrol spent to drive to the Bunnings, which again, was 18km away. We were forced to add an extra 36km to our journey because of this error. 36km worth of extra driving and extra petrol spent to refuel the tank. No conciliatory remarks were made, nor any attempts to compensate us either. The only reason the rating I’ve given isn’t lower is because of the other staff member who did a great job going out of his way helping us out. He was professional and represented the company well. The modern nature of the vehicles in their fleet also saved a lower rating.

      I booked a truck a week in advance but when i arrived to pick it up my credit card was not accepted and i was not given a reason why. It is a commonwealth credit card that i then took to Orana where the very same card was accepted with no issues.       Had organised a truck a week prior to date. On the day of pickup, I was told that the credit card I had would not be accepted despite the card being accepted on the online pre booking. This is all while trying to move house on a tight schedule. I was given no reason as to why the card wouldn’t be accepted, only told by the single staff member there that day that he did not know why.       Bad experience with the Budget Westmead, don’t go for the name. They made my booking experience so hassling and after all that was done, The manager and the lady at front desk, Sharon, said you can’t take the vehicle because you don’t carry a physical card. The booking staff didn’t clearly mention about the physical card and no where they mentioned in their website about the physical card. In this day and age, where the world is digitalised. On the other hand, the services of SixT has made my experience awesome and ease-free. They listened and understood me and accepted my digital card!

      DO NOT DO YOUR BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!!! They are veryyyy rude and want us to call them for a car availability even after we booked a vehicle through their website???????

      Do you know the purpose of having a website??? And a physical bank card needed when we can literally show us our bank account and online bank cards??? This is 2024 not 1850???? No punctuality. Made us wait like an hour just to get a vehicle even though we booked 2-3 hours earlier.

      They don’t know how to deal with their customers when nothing was clear on the website.

      Would give 0 stars if I could.

      I made a booking online, arrived at the location approximately 40 minutes after I made the booking.

      On arrival, I was told (with a rude attitude) by one of the front desk workers that I was meant to call before arriving. If that’s the case, then why would you even allow online bookings?

      Also, on the website, no where does it state that you must call before arrival. So this was obviously the worker thinking she is entitled which is funny to be honest, you’re merely someone who makes bookings for a living.

      I was then told that I needed to bring my physical bank card (which to be fair is written on the email I received from Budget). However, much like another review on here, the point still stands that its 2024 and everything is digitalised nowadays. It’s honestly laughable that even though I pre-filled my bank card details online, they still required it. I’ll let them off with this one because they still let me proceed even though I didn’t have it.

      One of the workers even stated that other booking companies require your physical bank cards in order to make the booking. Which is not true for all of them as I’ve booked in different companies in the past and never went through something like this. It’s clearly just a nonsensical rule that they’re enforcing.

      I was then told that I have to wait 5/10 minutes for them to clean the car even though I made the booking 40 minutes ago. While I was waiting for the car, I could clearly hear the workers taking online booking requests, and being aware of them when they come in. That being said, they should of been aware of my booking ahead of time and should of had the car cleaned and prepared already. It took them 20 minutes to clean the car.

      This business lacks professionalism, and makes you regret going there. I would avoid at all costs. We are paying to hire the vehicles, not to be disrespected by Karens working at a dead end job.

      Great service from start to finish. We needed an appropriate size vehicle to vacate my parents unit. The staff at Budget Westmead were on point and provided great service.       I do not recommend to anybody I call them and booked a car for 2 days and had to get some one to drop me to them and the they said sorry we don’t have a car available, so rude and disrespectful as well.

      Terrible service. Wait times ridiculous and phone menu options long winded. Always being patched through to another operator where the call centres are clearly offshore. Never return calls and booking system woeful. Would never use again unless I can speak with someone from the store I’m booking from.
