      Great front desk staff, adequate strength gym, slightly compact when several people are in at once (squat rack, bench press racks, smith machine, benches with DBs up to ?36kg, cable machines, pull-up bar, mirrors, cardio equipment); Judo classes, gymnastics classes, showers & changing lockers.       Glad the first class was free. Wouldn’t pay for it at all. Gym was hot and gross smelling. Attended 1 of their classes. Was spoken to maybe 3 times so I had no idea what I was doing. Felt like I was being out casted for being new. Class had like 20 people in it to 1 instructor. Definitely has put a bad taste in my mouth

      I play basketball on a weekly basis and, although the court is not regulation size, it is a nice court. The court hire fee is very reasonable also. The change facilities are nice with individual large shower stalls. All astound good facilities.

      I absolutely love that there is a late Vinyasa class at 7 pm. Unfortunately, most of the studios around Wollongong offer only classes after 5 – 5:30 pm. It makes hard for people who has a different schedule. Claire is an amazing yoga instructor. Her sequences of poses are very creative, enjoyable, and makes me come back every Monday night. Thank you for always plan such amazing Vinyasa classes. Loved every single one.

      I have been to the basketball many times and the stadium is always clean and very well run. A receptionist or two to greet and answer questions, a well run cafe with a good variety of fresh and fried foods, plenty of toilets, excellent signage and hundreds of happy kids and parents.
      Well done to all those staff in the background who keep this beautiful facility in such good order.

      Great Stadium, usually visit here on Saturday for Netball games. They have a few courts within the building.
      You are not allowed to take videos in the premises for kids safety, which is very good.
      You have check-in gates as you enter.
      The courts are well maintained and each court has its own scoring board system and timers.
      Yes they sell food here and most importantly, coffee!?

      Parking can be tricky, you have to get here well before time or wait for other parents to leave the carpark to find a spot.

      Good sports facility with a number of courts but the parking situation is very bad. The stadium need a lot more parking spots considering the sheer volume of players, games and timings of games.

      Very good stadium, there were about 3 courts free to play on, had a great basketball session w many people I had never met before ?. And i hadn’t even explored the whole venue, several volleyball, cricket grounds, netball courts, along with indoor gymnasium and several other useful things, water fountains, places to sit of you are observing games, cafe etc. I’d reccomend if you’re keen on playing or observing

      I want to say it is so inconvenient that the pool is closed between 11am and 330pm. Those are literally the hottest hours when I would want to go for a swim. It does not make any sense that the pool is closed in the middle of Summer with this heat. You may want to consider opening all day normal hours or else you are losing lots of customers!!

      Very disappointed with very unprofessional response from Aaron Miller, who is a manager at YMCA Victoria Point. YMCA has been taking money out of my credit card for last few months. I have had 3 telephonic conversations and a personal visit to YMCA Victoria Point to provide all the details but they still want to physically see my credit card statement again . They are still taking money out of my account. They are very sweet when they want you to become a member but have been taking money illegally from my credit card. Hope it will be resolved soon.

      I really enjoy swimming here but the swim coach is constantly yelling and criticising the swim students, its very upsetting. Maybe try praising the kids occasionally?!?!??

      I go swimming 3 times a week and I find the pool very clean. A few big leaves hardly an issue. Yes it’s busy at 7 to 8 am however I still find I enjoy my swimming.

      Decent range of equipment, free weights are a little dated. Definately not a Crossfit box. Could do with a bit of updating and more bumper plates… Price is good and it has a pool.

      We received an email earlier this week (sent after office hours) informing us that they are closing the Family Day Care services from 31st May. Without any consultation with families that engage in the services and also the educators themselves, they have made an executive decision based on their current business planning for future development of the Y (supposedly to be a NON-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION that services the community!). We have relied upon the Y Family Day Care since returning to work 12 months ago following maternity leave after our second son. We find our educator suited very well to our children’s need and our busy family schedule with shift works being health care professional ourselves. the Y should declare their interest in making profits from business plans if that is their current philosophy, rather than trying to hide under the pretence of providing “opportunities for children, young people and the community to grow in body, mind and spirit”. We are very disappointed and upset with this decision as it affects our family greatly and it is a reflection on how the organisation is driven by greed and power, not one for the benefit of the children at all.
