      After I paid the $220 deposit, I canceled the order within 5 minutes, but the front desk said it would take 3-5 days before the deposit could be refunded. I don’t quite understand that they deduct money very quickly but refund very slowly. Can’t they refund the money immediately when canceling the order? The bank has not completed the transaction process at this time. Four days have passed and as of today I have not received a refund.

      Picked up car as ordered. Car was ready but had an issue with inactive touch screen. Staff replaced car with similar one and all was well from then. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Returning car 5 days later uneventful. Again very pleasant staff.

      Recently I was unsure about using insurance to fix a dent on my car. The repair shop reminded me “free” car rental came as part of the service. But I had to present my credit card for a bond (I assumed just pre-approval, not withdrawing from my account). I got the car on Wednesday and returned on Monday, and the $220 showed as “pending” all that time, so no problem, I thought. After returning the car, I noticed the amount was gone, and 48 hrs later I’m waiting for its return. This is such a big corporation, technically legal, scam, it has put me off both Budget and the RAC.

      Our vehicle a large 4 WD was booked into the panel Beaters for repairs on the 24th July 2023, this booking was made with the insurance company on the 29th March 23. A Budget Hire car ( like for like )via the insurance Co was booked on the same date. When we picked up the Budget vehicle it was a small SUV and the interior cleanness was poor. We questioned the like for like vehicles policy and we were told we need to book in advance. We highlighted that we did book back in March 23, over 3 months prior. Just disappointing that you pay large insurance premiums and in the event you are required to call on using the benefits of your policy you are let down by a service provider, in this case Budget. Yes we got a car, yes it did it’s job however Budget do no pay our insurance premiums and the fact we got a vehicle that wasn’t clean was very disappointing

      I always drive past this place and it always has the “best hotdogs in Adelaide” sign out the front. I love hotdogs, so I wanted to give them a go…. Im glad I did! It is very very very tasty. I got one with the lot. I really couldn’t stop eating it! In my opinion, what makes this hotdog taste so tasty is the fact it has ham and cheese it it with a proper hotdog sausage. Has sauces and onion too…. then it gets toasted and wrapped up. From first bite to last, it is so flavourful all the way through! Add a FUIC with it and it is a very satisfying lunch / meal. If you don’t drive, catch the 147 bus 😉

      Great little supermarket. Wine and beer choices and prices are amazing. 6 packs of beer sell at about a quarter of normal supermarket slab price, typically $12 to $15. At the time of writing 6 pack of VB is $13 (normal everyday price) while $19 at Dan Murphy’s.

      Hi Guys, beware of the prices charged by the owner. Yesterday i bought olive oil marked as $14.23 on shelf. When i reached the register, the girl scanned as $23.99. Luckily I saw on the register what i am being charged. I asked the owner how come its different. She said she will go and check whats the price marked on the shelves. She came back and told the little girl who was serving me to charge $15.99. I was shocked. Instead of asking for forgiveness, she charged me extra. I did not say anything, so as to not embarass the owner for $1.76 charged extra in front of so many people. This has happened to me the second time. The first time they charged me $3 extra for the yogurt. I am never going to this shop ever again. Guys, please beware of shopping in this shop. I understand its quite convenient for local people at hurlstone park, but better compromise convenience than giving hard earned extra money to these guys.

      This is our local and we’re totally chuffed! Recently had a name change from IGA to The Good Grocer, it’s also had a revamp and looks fantastic!

      The fresh local produce is fab! Plenty of pre packed salads and fruit. There are also quite a few premade in house meals ready to go. I love their roast selection with a variety of roasted meats and veggies to choose from. The seafood section’s great too! There’s a lovely florist in store who is super friendly and helpful, heck there’s even a bottle shop section!

      One of my favourite things though is seeing my local all decked out at Christmas, Easter, actually any celebration! Whoever is in charge here needs to know we all just love it. The displays are great!! One year shoppers received a free full size chocolate bunny at Easter!

      Im disappointed with the doughnuts that I purchased yesterday. It wasnt the same doughnuts that i usually get, perfectly shaped ones. This time, i got thw ugly ones which they shouldnt be giving it away to customers. Ive worked with a doughnut shop before so i know how it should be.
