      We’re not huge on crafty market stuffs. We had a quick drop in on fathers day before heading to our destination. The locals certainly have a diverse albeit small range of arts and crafts on offer. Some tasty food and coffee if that pleases you. No photos taken here.

      Very relaxing space with what would have been a beautiful view if not for the over cast weather that day haha! Unfortunately the famous chowder was not available however the fish and chips was delicious and crispy! I really enjoyed the flat head burger so yum and something I don’t see offered at most places! We also didn’t have to wait long for our meals either! I would say allow extra time for parking as the parking is limited and busy in the surrounding area!

      The seafood chowder is delicious. The salad that comes with it too. The prawn taco are pretty good too. The view to the ocean with surfers is nice. Went for good walk on the track in front of the restaurant after dinner.

      Our main meal took 1 hour to arrive, we almost left, Staff acknowledged they were having difficulties in the kitchen and gave us a substantial discount. They were honest and apologetic about it. Food – magnificent, we had the cob Staff – awesome Views are great. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

      Freshwater fish and plant collection is rather limited. Quite a few driftwoods but almost no rocks. But the saltwater collection is great. I love how all the tanks are extremely clean, fish all swim happily. I also really really like how each species is clearly labelled with their ideal water conditions like PH, KH, etc. This is super helpful and I’m surprised none other stores do the same. Oh and the staff made me feel very welcome.

      We’ll set up little store with plenty of staff and very clean we’ll maintained tanks! A good range of accessories. But is catered more towards salt water fishkeeping! They have a limited amount of fresh water stock and very little amount of scaping options for such tanks also! Apart from that it’s a nice store and worth a visit if you’re near by!

      I went in search to start my Saltwater aquarium, I visited lots of shops and find this great place to start my new hobby. I bought my Aqua one mini reef 120 and some other equipments from them. Their products are quality and prices are good. The cleanliness of the shop is very high.

      Not to mention the knowledge, passion and customer support that is second to none!

      If you are ready to start an aquarium or looking for that one fish/coral please go speak to Andy and the team, I highly recommend them✌️

Only thing that was ok was the Chicken Pasta salad that had barely any Chicken in it. On top of this, the amount they charge for this rubbish is disgusting. Will not be returning ever.

      Amazing range and good levels of stock. A little on the pricey side for some items but if you use it at a convenience shop rather than a supermarket the pricing fits fine.

      Plenty of staff on registers in the afternoon. Your junior staff should be commended, well presented and keen to service customers.

      Wow! I have never seen an IGA this big, nor carry as much as they do. The fresh produce all looked wonderful, there was also fresh sandwiches, fruit salad, cakes…. Amazing. Good value too.

      Big clean store but very, very overpriced, especially for the fruit and veg. Shopped at Coles a couple of days earlier and got apples for around $5/kg and nectarines for $4.50. At the IGA, I paid $9/kg for the cheapest apples and $11.90/kg for nectarines. That is plain daylight robbery.

      If you’re wondering if you should go or not.. let me try persuade you.. DO IT, you won’t find better fish and chips on the coast..

      Edit 1. 5 Stars. New day and year. Decent turnaround given the large amount of customers. Bit of a wait but still worth it. Lunchtime visit and had great service. Fish, 100%. absolutely loved it. Will be back!!

      Original review. 3 Stars. Small group of us went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Thursday afternoon. It was a little busy but within the 20-30 minutes we waited in line to order, the line grew and was spilling on the footpath.. even with a 7pm closing time, nice to see they were still being served.

      Group order of fish, chips, wedges and calamari. The calamari were gold, very nice and definitely something I’d have again. The chips were nice, wedges and fish so so.

      There’s a little bit of seating but not really enough for how busy it gets, seating areas could use another bin as the crows and ibis’ were getting in them and definitely need a bit of a clean from time to time. Limited parking as it’s also used by people who settle in for the afternoon to watch the sunsets over the bay. See

      My favorite fish and chips place! No matter how busy my travels are on the Gold Coast, I always make sure to come here for a meal. The crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish never disappoint.

      Seafood heaven! The fish is always fresh, and though you might have to wait a bit, but it’s totally worth it. Plus, the fish and chips are very voluminous. The staff who served us were very polite—We always stop here after we go for a swim in the ocean!

      Great food but very poor service.

      I tried Peter’s for the first time a couple years ago after seeing so many pictures and reviews. The food was amazing and fresh, however the service was appalling. I waited in line with a diverse range of customers and was disappointed when it came my turn to be greeted with a disgruntled staff member who’s demeanour and communication changed completely. He spoke in a loud and abrupt tone (assuming I couldn’t speak English based off my appearance). I then watched him promptly perk up and cheerily greet the couple behind me and continue to go between the two, based on the appearance of the customer he was serving.

      Well I wanted to give Peter’s another chance, hoping my experience this time would be a bit more positive and went back for some more fresh seafood. While the food was absolutely spot on, the service unfortunately remained unchanged. Exact same experience this time around with the same attitude when ordering.

      As a business that’s located in such a prime location with such good food, it’s truly so disappointing to see such a lack in the quality of service.

      Multiculturalism and diversity isn’t new in Australia, and it seems it might be worth educating your staff on it.

      Great Fish and Chips from Peters Fish Market. We had heard positive reviews so decided to give it a try. Awesome fish and lovely chips, good size portions and $10 for fish of the day. The outside sitting area could do with a bit of attention but the friendly staff and food made up for it.

      They can’t seem to decide on a layout plan and swap things around so often even their own staff have no idea where anything is. I once got three different answers from staff when trying to find a particular item, and after the third one I only found what I was after because someone else had put one back in the wrong spot. I do not blame the staff for this at all, they’re not the ones making the decisions.

      Additionally, there are always piles of boxes and stock trolleys sitting around the back shelf, blocking a lot of it from view. I understand this is necessary some times, but I see it like that much more often then not, and it’s not like there’s someone there actively using them to restock the shelves.

      I can’t understand why Coles Bathurst put all these self serve check outs in, when they never open them for customers to use.
      Instead they would rather you all line up at the express check out, with a full trolley load of groceries.
      The wiser choice would be to put what little staff you employ these days on monitoring the self serve so we can actually get our shopping done in a reasonable time frame.

      We purchased a whole snapper, prawns, oysters, bugs, seafood sauce that is from Maggie Beers in SA (amazing) and everything was amazing and so fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend these guys for great seafood and if you wants cooked seafood the shop out the front caters for all even if you don’t like seafood.
