      The chips were overcooked and oily. I have to say the worst chips I’ve ever had, even cold chips taste better. I called the shop to let them know the chips were overcooked and inedible and I just got ‘I’m sorry about that’ and no offer of a replacement. The fish and potato cakes were sub par not overcooked but disappointing. I thought this fish and chip shop was the one considering the last occasions everything was great! Going back to Loz’s!

      Ordered flake, potato cake, and a fried dim sim. What can I say, digusting comes to mind. Batter was soggy mush. I have been checking out different fish and chip shops in Sunbury. This one by far the worst.

      Interesting layout with a self serve buffet/deli in the middle of the store. Very impressed with the hot deli offering tasty economical hot meal options attractive to, amongst others, tradies and pensioners ? The most outstanding feature is the Asian section, which is the most extensive I’ve ever seen outside of a dedicated store. It’s a real gem for those looking for big sacks of rice to the most obscure pastes and powders. It’s somewhat cramped in a corner of the store, so you may need to leave your trolley out of the aisle, and perhaps ask (who I found) a wise expert of the area to find your weird spice?. Well done to Rigters IGA!

      Bad customer service. Was served today by the lady in a grey shirt. Didn’t even say hi when I said hi to her, barely said a word to me and didn’t even say bye when I said bye when I was about to leave. She just stood there and started talking to someone else. Very rude.

      They had a very strong muddy/dirt type taste too them.
      Needless to say 2.8kgs went in the bin.
      I would NEVER buy seafood from this place again.
      Avoid is my recommendation.

      This is our new “go to” fish market – waay better than Mooloolaba – have been here a few times now & it never disappoints us with its great selection of whole & filleted fish, oysters & prawns.       The best fish & chips shop in Hervey Bay!! I had a piece of cod that was cooked to perfection!!! ?? the chips are delicious and no grease at all. The portion of fish with chips is very generous! ? It’s situated close to the Urangan Pier with lots of spots for a pic nic or you can seat at their seating area and enjoy the best fish! Highly recommend! ?

      Not a huge range of food or drinks to choose from but the food that we did order was delicious. Big servings. The potato scallops are popular and they didn’t disappoint, they were thick cut, nice batter and not overly oily. We ordered calamari with chips, grilled snapper and 5 potato scallops. A water, and ginger beer as well as seafood sauce cost $47.40. ?? I’ve lived here for 16 years and can say this is definitely one of the better fish shops. Oh and we got a half dozen local oysters for $16.00. We will be back.

      10/10 food & service ! Placed an online order at peak hour and it was ready within minutes ? I cannot get over how delicious the food was and not too greasy like many other places I’ve tried before ! Very good serving also, and 4 pieces of lemon per tray which is fantastic. Will definitely be back more often than not. If you haven’t yet tried Migaloos, do yourself a favour & get on down to Urangan ??

      Fully licensed for dine in customers, so no BYO in the venue

      Situated in a great location, in a park adjacent the Urangan Pier. Quite a few picnic tables in close vicinity, many with water views ?️

      Our order was taken politely and ready in ten minutes

      We chose to enjoy our meal at a table with views over the bay, just beautiful

      Plenty of convenient parking and public toilets nearby The venue was spotlessly clean and our meal was delicious ?
