      I went in for the first time and instantly started on my hair. They charged me only $23 and they did the works. They did my mustache and eyebrows and razor shaved the edges of my hair. Gelled me up and put an aftershave that’s great on me. Very very impressed. Would recommend

      The service here is fantastic, no fuss, they just do a brilliant job! I’ve never actually had my hair cut here… I just take my brother and he loves it. The smell of the salon is incredible also, I’m not sure what it is, but I want to find out.

      Wife booked an appointment at 9am. We arrived just before 9am, but both staff were already with customers. It appeared that one of the customers had no booking. We did the online booked few days in advance and even received an online confirmation the day before. We waited for about 10mins, and told the lady staff we will go for a walk then come back. We went back at around 930am, the staff was still with the same customer and Chatting away and taking their time. Clear we are not as important as other customers. What is the point of making an online booking, especially it was the first booking for the day at 9am? There usually is a reason why customers book in advance and the first appointment, because they have other schedules to meet. This is very unprofessional and even arrogant. When we went back at 9.30am, the other staff checked and said we need to wait for another 5min. Not even a Sorry for their errors and incompetency. This is not on and simply not good enough. We visit Southport often and have been to this place. During our lats visit, the gentleman staff was very friendly and nice. Non of that this time. Maybe business is too good to care about us as an individual customer and it’s a Monday morning. No smiles from the staff and lack of energy. They couldnt care less. Very disappointment to say the least. This typically can happen to businesses that are successful but overtime, sense of entitlement and arrogance kick in, and service standards start to drop over time but the staff wouldn’t even be aware of the service level drop. If the management does care, they need to review the situation and ensure it does not happy to other customers. Staff and computer system can make errors but the more important part is how you address the situation with the customers after the error has been made, ensuring they still have an good overall experience in the end. Not in our case, unfortunately.

      Been here a couple of times whilst living in Southport and so glad I found them! I had a bad experience at a different place which made me not want go to another hairdresser in Australia in fear of making my hair worse 🙁 but these guys have left me smiling both times, even when I had to get a big chop to fix my hair they made it look great!

      They’re very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend ?

      I had such a good experience here! Sia brought my hair from virgin black to a cool beige blonde. It required 2 rounds of bleach and I requested that she blend brown into the roots. I have neutral/cool skin tone and she read it perfectly; the brown and beige tones she picked match my skin way better than the colors I showed her at the beginning of my appointment. She was very clear about the pricing and attentive to the processing time. My hair still feels strong and smooth, and Sia gave me hair wash recommendations to keep the color. I was at the salon from 10a to 4p and my total cost (Colour Pkg + root blend + 2nd round of bleach + extra dense hair) was $470 AUD. I love my colour, and would definitely return!

      Tip: Kausie is really conveniently located in an East Asian plaza. You can run over to Bánh Mì Southport and grab a sandwich. Machi Machi has some great boba to pair with 🙂

      First time I managed to squeeze in getting my hair done as a SAHM and I was left waiting for 25mins. I was four mins late to my 10:15am appointment, at 10:45 I just left. Really disappointed, three people who arrived after me were taken in. I was getting my hair done for an event and couldn’t just wait there for the whole morning, nor should I have to.

      My dissatisfaction extends beyond the color didn’t align with the vision I hoped. The handling of my hair was quite rough, leading to a level of discomfort that bordered on pain. The forceful manipulation of my hair made the styling session a distressing experience.

      Moreover, the water temperature control during the hair wash was a significant problem. I found the water to be either scalding hot, posing a risk of burns, or extremely cold, making it incredibly uncomfortable to complete the hair wash properly.

      ​ The place is lovely I just hope the business owner will pay attention to those matters.

      Amazing results and great customer service?

      I got a keratin treatment. The 3rd year apprentice was so skilled. She checked in with me often to see of the water was too hot, if the cape was too tight etc. And she took small sections which gave an amazing result.

      The owner was lovely and very skilled too. Will definitely be back

      I went into Dhillonz hair salon to have my hair done with an all over color, a hair cut & 10-12 foils, the same as I usually have done, each time is a different price.

      When I phoned for an appointment the Manager asked if I was going to use my Eftpos card if so she was going to charge me a $50 deposit prior to my appointment in case I canceled.

      I told the hairdresser what I wanted done, the most ridiculous thing could have been done to anyone was to cut your hair before color & foils.

      Once cut it was too short to put the foils in leaving the Manager to hold the hair while the foils where done to one side of my hair, the color I asked for was a bright orange nothing like what I asked for.

      I told the hairdresser & the Manager that I was not going to leave the salon looking like I did, to this the hairdresser put an all over deep auburn color which covered what little foils that were put in.

      It cost me $120 to which the Manager told me that she wouldn’t charge me for the foils, what foils, there were none.

      I waited three hours for this mess to be made, paying & walking out disgusted.

      I would NOT recommend this salon with these hairdressers who do not know what they are doing.

      I ask ‘who in their own mind would cut your hair this short’ to have color & foils put in..All I can say to this is ‘Bloody Ridiculous’.

      They make out they are friendly & courteous however it is a disgrace when you expect one hairdresser to do your hair & not two or three different ones.

      I could not understand why the Manager did not fix the mess to what I really wanted with no apologies whatsoever.

      I had an hour or so between jobs and Dhillonz Hair fitted me in. The salon is clean and the staff were busy with other customers but I was shown straight through to a chair. The apprentice was quiet but attentive to my request. Everything was completed efficiently and to my satisfaction. My cut and colour worked out out nicely. Thank you for your service

      I have been come here since you guys are open and always has been my best experience with you guys. I’m glad to start with you guys and my brow has better shape now. I had best experience with my Brazilian wax with them. They are very fast and i like it fast but with my first time waxing experience they make sure comfort me and did it slowly according to my comfort zone. Highly recommended them for all the services.       I tried out this place for the first time for eyebrow threading as I’ve just moved house and going in I was nervous. Walking in the lady who served me had great customer service and immediately made me feel comfortable. She talked me through everything she was going to do. The end result was very good and I was definitely a happy customer.

      To summarise, impeccable customer service, skilled staff and very very reasonably priced!!

      My brows always look great after a visit to Silkbody! Sometimes you have to wait for a while as it is a walk in service, but other times you get served straightaway. Waxing services are usually fine; sometimes I have had an inexperienced person who has left me with wax burn which was painful. They only take cash on a Saturday which is annoying but there is an ATM nearby. I will happily return for eyebrow services such as threading and tinting.

      Another hairdresser cancelled last min and I’m so glad they did! Michelle was super lovely managing to fit me in with the lovely Sammy. They were just amazing from the moment I got there. I don’t go to a hair salon very often but I had the best day and was super happy with the transformation. They explain every step and made me feel so special and confident. Sammy was so lovely to chat to throughout the day and they have a very special team, what an awesome salon. Will now always go there!

      I would avoid this salon at all costs. I am not one to leave reviews but the way this situation was handled & how I have been spoken to is super unprofessional. I booked an appointment for a toner which I attended and this was my first time (they require a $100 deposit) which is fine. At the end of my appointment I wanted to look at booking to get colour done and asked for a price to see if it was something I can afford at this time, but then was advised to “book online first & then send photos of my current hair state”. After booking I was contacted & quoted an amount which was out of my budget and I let them know it is out of my budget and was then told I will not bet getting my $100 deposit back even though I was told to book the appointment first.

      Where to begin…Capelli é Bellezza is not only a fantastic salon with amazingly trained staff, it’s a family. The girls always put in 110% when it comes to creating a desired hair colour or look. I’ve been getting my hair done here since as long as I can remember, and every time I’ve left the salon I feel like a brand new woman! They truly have the artistry to turn your hair from A to B. Most importantly, they always make you feel welcome and educate you about your hair and the products etc…which i feel is so important. Maxi and the team have always provided me with so much self confidence when I walk straight out of the salon. I cannot and would not recommend anyone else! Ps. They also make amazing coffees & always have amazing vibes coming from every single hair dresser!

      I wasn’t going to put a review but the way I was treated on my last visit was demeaning and disgraceful!

      Salon staff have a superiority complex, and obviously feel they should not apologise for destroying a repeat clients hair. After being told they couldn’t get the colour I wanted, despite having it done in many previous visits, I was told the girl who originally did my hair had moved interstate and I was told I’m more than welcome to get on a plane as they were sure she could do my hair . This was mentioned to me a number of times when they had a client near by . I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and intimated in a environment . When I requested my deposit back, I had to message some phone number, and then follow up after a week to receive my money back. After being a client for over 2 years, being treated incredibly rudely is extremely distressing.

      Being a ‘popular’ salon does not mean treating people rudely is ok. Customer service never goes out of style.

      Thankfully I’ve found another hairdresser who has fixed my hair and made me feel amazing again

      Today was my first time coming in to Dottori & Co & I was very nervous but Michelle from the get go was so kind & understanding, going above and beyond for me. She sat with me & discussed my goals for my hair & explained processes in an easy to understand manner & didn’t make me feel silly. I left the salon today from just a consultation feeling so confident & excited to attend my first colour appointment in a few weeks time with the correct products for my hair type too! Beautiful space & lovely team, can’t wait for my next appointment!

      Had the most amazing service today by hayz. Had a massive chop from long to short and hayz just nailed the cut perfectly. I can’t be anymore happier with her service today.

      After 3 months travelling on road, my hubby desperately needed a cut. We walked in and the team were able to fit us in and also give us tips for best coffee places in town. We’re fussy Melbourne foodies, so that was a bonus. Many thanks ?

      Bad service, bad colour and a scalp burn. Then on top of that accused of lying. Would not recommend the “blonde specialist” or attending this salon unless you want to look like a tiger, a peeling scalp, a terrible experience and to be patronised on top of that. The manager needs some training in handling complaints. Overall, I would say stick to your usual hairdresser as you will waste your money and leave worse than when you walked in.
