Cannot speak highly enough about this pharmacy. Usually I just go to whatever pharmacy – seen one, seen them all – or so I thought. However on Thursday I was sent to this specific pharmacy by an optometrist. One of the pharmacists, Natasha, was unbelievable. A note to others: not all pharmacies or pharmacists are created equal. I am so grateful for the help Natasha provided me when i needed it

One of the best in Bundaberg.

Staff treat you as a human being, not as a number waiting to be served. So compassionate and friendly. Go out of their way to ensure your needs are looked after.

When I go into the store they all know my name and who I am as a customer.

Thank you for the best service provided.

Had a Telehealth appointment for my two sick children last week as I did not want to drag my 3 year old and 10 month old into the clinic. Call lasted two minutes where a medical certificate was needed to take carers leave. Was billed $75 dollars for this appointment and it also claimed the call provided was for six minutes. Children are supposed to be bulked billed so they get appropriate access to healthcare. Tried to discuss with receptionist who said their hands were tied as the doctor does the billing.

Want to rush in to have your health more damaged than getting well? See this clinic and if happens to bump into Indian doctors or Dr Robyn Polock be very scared. I’ve been there and these crooks dodged experience made the rest of my life a dark living Hell. Find the right clinic if needed. Don’t see these born crooks or you’ll regret it for the rest of your life.

My partner went into Evans street clinic tonight and spoke to reception to see if he could get a script printed for me as I have been bed ridden for the last 2 weeks with broken ribs and in need of painkillers to get through the night and was under the impression my dr had given me a repeat due to the pain I was in when I had my last appointment. Instead of reception assisting my partner and perhaps seeking another professional opinion he was met with resistance from reception and an unwillingness to help in light of my situation. What happened to willingness to be kind these days and go above and beyond for service!!!

I waited for one and half hours to see a doctor when I visited for the first time and I thought maybe it was a very busy day. Second time I waited for 2 hours to see a doctor. Now I think this is kind of normal for this clinic so please aware when you are there for your appointment you are expected to wait for your doctor at least one hour.

Planning to Visit an Australian General Practitioner? Here’s What You Should Consider!

    Sunbury Medical Centre in Sunbury
    Sunbury Medical Centre in Sunbury

When visiting a general practitioner (GP) in Australia, there are several things to consider to ensure a productive and efficient appointment. GPs play a crucial role in the country’s healthcare system, providing primary care and overseeing a patient’s overall health and wellbeing.

Here are some important factors to keep in mind:

    • Appointments: In Australia, it is common to make appointments to see a GP, rather than walk-in consultations. It is advisable to call ahead and book an appointment, especially for non-emergency or routine visits.
    • Medical history: Before your appointment, gather and organize any relevant medical documents and information, including previous prescriptions, test results, hospital discharge summaries, and a list of current medications or allergies. This will help the GP get a clearer understanding of your health status and make appropriate recommendations.
    • Healthcare card: If you have a healthcare card, such as a Medicare card, Pensioner Concession Card, or Veteran Affairs card, remember to bring it along. These cards may entitle you to subsidized or free medical care.
    • Interpreter services: If English is not your first language or you are more comfortable speaking in a different language, you can request interpreter services. The GP may be able to arrange an interpreter over the phone or in-person to assist with communication during the appointment.
    • Timing: Arriving early to your appointment can allow you to complete any necessary paperwork or registration processes. This will also give you time to relax and collect your thoughts before meeting with the GP.
    • Preparation: Take some time before your appointment to think about your symptoms, concerns, and any questions you may have. Write them down, so you don’t forget to discuss them during the consultation. Being prepared will ensure that you make the most of your time with the GP and address your healthcare needs fully.
    • Comprehensive communication: During your appointment, be open and transparent with your GP. Clearly explain your symptoms, medical history, and any lifestyle factors that may impact your health. This will help the GP make an accurate diagnosis and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
    • Follow-up: After your appointment, make sure to follow the GP’s instructions regarding medications, referrals to specialists, or additional tests. If you have any concerns or questions following the consultation, do not hesitate to contact the GP’s office for clarification.

I was a patient at L.G.H recently. The doctors, nurses through to the meal delivers and cup of tea girls were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them..My only complaint was at handover time. I was in a 4 bed ward no complaints about that at all I didn’t agree with handover at shift change being conducted within earshot of the other patients in the room Privacy and dignity did not exist. Why can’t this be done at the nurse’s station.

I had an Angiogram yesterday 5/July/2023. All the nursing staff in the Cardiology Department were awesome. From the lead up phone calls I recieved prior to appointment date right through to prep and completion of the procedure on the day. A few laughs were had as well. The after care nurses in day procedures recovery ward were also awesome. I’m not a fan of hospital visits, I’ve had my share, but this one was memorable. Thanks heaps.

This place is a joke! 6 yr old daughter got attacked by a dog, cuts everywhere! She was taken up by an ambulance… guess what? Got told to sit in the waiting room! 2 hours have passed and are still sitting in the waiting room. Will update and let you all know what time we get in. Unbelievable. We’ll my daughter finally got seen another 30 minutes later. But what an amazing doctor, Dr Adam! reminded me of the talk show host, James corden. And what an amazing nurse (george) lady nurse. Insisted I called her George. 2 great people. I’m not sure what time the hospital can do to reduce the waiting time? Maybe have a kids only section?

Please do not have a baby here, I recommend Hobart or Burnie. Understaffed, dry blood in the delivery room I asked for it to be cleaned, blood taken- forgotten – left on shelf then had to retry for bloods ( hard with my veins), did not read my pre baby requests…. Did not follow my instructions as requested, food isn’t suitable for diabetics, incorrect meds given, ladies baby dropped in the other room from nurse, EXTREMELY understaffed, I requested to leave hospital after birth as I felt extremely unsafe. Before baby I was lost in the file and not given any information for upcoming baby or post baby of care. No bathing shown or changing boot etc … you’re left on your own. My belongings stolen so requested to have a night stay alone as I was so stressed …. $600 for one night. Fans zip tied and with a fever I was given paper wet towel which was not suitable or helpful with the fever. The list goes on. I developed ptsd diagnosed via a psychologist. Please for the saftey of yourself and baby do not go here.

We have been going to ESK medical since 2018. Our GP is amazing. However, from the very first day, we have so much difficulty communicating with the staff at reception. Particularly one receptionist. She is extremely rude, not cooperative, not supportive and basically refuse to bulk bill even if the GP approves. She is not patient with people with young children and her facial expressions if you are person with a darker skin is shocking! Sometimes, she will basically stare at you and not even answer questions. Really hope this attitude changes and no citizen deserve this treatment. It’s been ongoing for six years and nothing has changed so far.

Dr Charmi Vithanarachchi had been my GP for several years and had always been very caring and friendly when I needed her help. I’ve had to find a new GP as I’ve moved away from Launceston but would have happily continued to see her otherwise.

Our regular Doctor is Dr. Thompson who is very warm and knowledgeable, he sees our whole family and is particularly good with our toddler, we have never left feeling unheard of unseen too. All of the other Doctors are also good, when we have seen them in busy times. The nurses are great, especially Jenna the practice nurse who is fantastic as are the ladies on Reception. Nothing but good experiences, always able to get an appointment easily and generally runs on time.

I have had a headache for 4 weeks so rang to get an appointment to see a doctor. I dont have a regular doctor because i have never been sick before, healthy aged 50. Sorry to say as i am vaccine free I am not even allowed in this practice. I was told that this is their policy. Im sorry…. your policy is to discriminate against people. Im pretty sure this is unethical. So disappointing that this sort of treatment is happening in 2022.

I am a recently new patient to this clinic. I have found Dr. Rana to be thorough, considered and helpful, with prompt referral to a specialist when it was considered prudent.

I will continue attending this clinic, I am very happy with the care and attention provided by Dr. Rana.

Gone completely down the drain with the new owners and management. The male dr is rude and uneducated when it comes to simple skills like interacting kindly with patients and listening to their needs. Told me before I even discussed my issues that they weren’t a “drug clinic” and they don’t “prescribe drugs” four people I know who go there experienced this too …. Never in my life have I felt so judged without any reason. All of the original doctors are gone, none of the old patients go here anymore. It’s honestly so disappointing. I had been going here since I was 7.

After ONE appointment with him, I’d never step foot in there again.. Even if I was in desperate need. Feel sorry for the locals, especially the oldies… Only good thing remaining are the reception staff.

I had visited Dr. Ali Rana for my infection in right side of the throat and he advised to visit hospital. I requested for referral but he told to visit emergency department. Also, asked if i am really bad with infection to visit hospital. Its gonna take long hours for queue.

      Hight disappointed

I have been going to this clinic for few years now. In terms of reception Alex is the best and of all the doctors I have consulted Dr Rana is by far the best! I would say he is the best I have consulted in 13 years. He really cares, he explains everything and gives you the time you need. Above all his communication is not rushed. He probes into the issue with questions and gets to the bottom of the issue. I am glad I consulted him today and I know whom to see next if I need a Doc. Thank You Doctor Rana

This is my second time I have elected to have surgery at St John of God – I think this hospital should get an award for Service Excellency and should be be held up as such to all other hospitals. Great staff, so well trained in customer service, dedicated nursing and ward staff, great room service meals. Wish we had a hospital like this at my home town in NSW – well done to all levels from management down to hospitality and cleaners etc ?

We had our first baby at SJOG Bendigo and had the best experience. TThe food was beautiful which we were not expecting from a hospital, the new room service menu was fantastic, we could just call and order our food at a time that suited us, the menu had so much variety and the food was delicious. Thank you all so much, we look forward to having our next baby at SJOG Bendig

Absolutely first class care. Staff on the surgery ward and admission are a credit to St John of God. I want to recognise my so lovely nurse Amy she was so concerned with my well being I sent a extra night. Also Miss Hannah was wonderful. The hospitality staff Shirley and Charlie make a great cuppa and take the time to have a chat. When being discharged Hannah ensured I had a escort-thank you Emily for waiting with me until my husband arrived to pick me up out front
Only saw one negative person and that was when waiting for the lift on discharge, however that one person is not a reflection of the engaging people I met during my stay across all areas of the hospital.
The staff a credit to the Bendigo campus

    • Local directories: Local directories, both online and print, often have listings for 24-hour medical centres. These directories provide contact details and location information, making it easier for you to find the nearest one to your location in Bendigo.
    • Ask for recommendations: If you are new to the area or prefer personal recommendations, you can ask friends, neighbors, or local community groups for suggestions. They may be able to share their experiences or point you in the right direction.

Once you have found a few options, it is important to do some further research to ensure that the 24-hour medical centre you choose meets your specific needs. Consider factors such as their range of services, qualifications of the medical staff, reviews from previous patients, and whether they accept your health insurance if applicable.

Having a 24-hour medical centre near you can provide peace of mind knowing that there is always a place to seek medical care, even during the night or on weekends. It is always advisable to have the contact details of a trusted medical centre on hand in case of emergencies.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with the team at AEC. It was such a stressful time and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Your team made me feel I had all of the time in the world, ensuring I made the right decision for my fur baby. The advice I received throughout my experience, I will be forever grateful for. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything so thorough. Your team made the most hardest time of my life, a comforting experience. I highly recommend, and I will continue to bring my fur babies to this clinic.

I recently had my Cat in care with the amazing team at AEC. From the moment I dropped him off to when I picked him up I felt at ease the entire time. I had updates from the team every 12 hours & they communicated everything with me. I was able to have an input into Jinx’s plan to come home & if I ever need a emergency vet in the future they will be the first point of call. Amazing service & Great Team of professionals!

A late night dash to Varsity Lake emergency when one of our dogs had an anaphylaxis reaction to a bite from some type of insect. The staff were amazing, explained everything that was going on with him and reacted quickly to resolve what was happening. His vital signs started to improve while we waited and an overnight stay for observation resulted in a much happier boy when we picked him up next morning. Cannot thank the staff there enough for their efforts, yes the costs are on the high side but it was an emergency and you can’t put a price on saving a member of your family, well done to the staff. I highly recommend the Varsity Lake animal emergency centre

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Dr Stephanie who helped my poor cat Celeste who swallowed one of her toys yesterday. Dr Stephanie was extremely compassionate and empathetic, and went through everything in full detail with me and my partner. I felt super confident that my cat Celeste was in the best possible hands.

Not even 30 minutes after I had left my cat with Dr Stephanie, I receive a call saying that the procedure was complete and all seemed well! Dr Stephanie I cannot thank you enough for saving my little girl and am forever grateful for your fast action and genuine care for your patients.

I would highly recommend the AEC team to anyone who has a pet emergency! The team are extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Thank you especially to Dr Stephanie, you are an angel! Lots of love from Nicola and Celeste x

The front staff are polite & know so much about the job. The nurses also have good knowledge about wounds & vaccines. The best is the doctor I see , but not often as not that sick.he has so much knowledge & can tick all the boxes when explaining you condition & testing you may need.

This has been the worst clinic I’ve ever had the nightmare of entering. My current problem is the monthly medication I am supposed to be receiving, not only did the nurses not inform myself, they failed to inform a doctor until it had run out. This was around January, at which point the doctor refused to sign the form to allow me to order more medication. It has now been three and a half months and the medication has shown up today but I cannot get an appointment for another two weeks. The nurses are incompetent and always make my arm hurt after injection unlike the amazing nurses from chevron medical centre who I never had a problem. Absolutely appalled at the experience I have had at this clinic.

This medical practice has proved quite different in my experience, offering a genuinely caring and professional environment. Even to the point of calling me to follow up and to advise. Outstanding service – and so far without the long wait.

The wait time was 55 minutes. Wish the reception could have told me the wait time could be 30minutes and longer when I checked in. No, no updates while waiting. Not a sorry from anyone, except my GP, kept apologising to me but I don’t blame her. She is a responsible GP and very patient.

I used the computer to register which was quick and easy. Dr Longmire is thorough and very professional. I also got my flu injection and Pierre, the nurse, was very nice and performed the injection painlesssly. It was easy to organise another appointment through the receptionist. The receptionist was helpful and gave me the appropriate time for my next appointment.

Planning to Visit an Australian General Practitioner? Here’s What You Should Consider!

After Hours Doctor - Gold Coast (Southport Metro Medical Centre) in Gold Coast
After Hours Doctor – Gold Coast (Southport Metro Medical Centre) in Gold Coast

Visiting a general practitioner (GP) in Australia is an important part of maintaining good health. Whether it’s for a regular check-up or to address a specific health concern, there are a few things to consider when making an appointment and visiting a GP.

    • Choosing the right GP: It’s important to find a GP who meets your needs and with whom you feel comfortable. You can ask friends, family, or colleagues for recommendations, or use online directories to search for GPs in your area.
    • Making an appointment: Most GP clinics in Australia require appointments, although walk-in clinics are becoming more common. You can call the clinic or sometimes book appointments online. It’s a good idea to book in advance especially for non-urgent matters.
    • Preparing for the appointment: Before your appointment, make a list of your symptoms or concerns, any medications you’re taking, and any relevant medical history. This will help you and your GP make the most of your time together.
    • Arriving on time: It’s important to arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you have enough time to discuss your concerns with your GP. If you’re running late, try to call ahead and let the clinic know.
    • Communicating openly: During your appointment, be open and honest with your GP about your symptoms, concerns, and medical history. This will help them accurately diagnose and treat any health issues.
    • Asking questions: Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something your GP says or if you want more information. Your GP should be happy to explain things to you in a way that you can understand.
    • Following through: After your appointment, be sure to follow any instructions or recommendations given by your GP. This may include taking prescribed medications, scheduling follow-up appointments, or making lifestyle changes.
    • Attending regular check-ups: Even if you’re feeling well, it’s important to attend regular check-ups with your GP. They can help monitor your overall health, pick up on any potential issues early on, and provide preventive care.

By considering these points, you can make the most of your visit to a general practitioner in Australia and ensure you receive the best possible care for your health needs.

Easy to get an appointment and flexible to do phone appointments/escripts if you can’t make it in. Practice doctors vary in their levels of competency – I wish they would more freely consult each other, especially the registrars. The senior doctors are a safe choice. Never had a bad experience in 9 years. Private billing.

Doctor Jenny Ho is my regular doctor here and I always feel safe and taken care of every time I’ve got an appointment with her . The clinic is clean, the staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly and it’s just easy to book with them. Even the phone appointments work out for me. You’d think that you may not cover much over the phone which is my concern but we never miss anything. I went to some other clinic for a while but felt unsatisfied. So glad to be back to this clinic.

I would give zero stars if I could. Unless you have the flu or like to hear lies about Covid, this practice is nothing but a meat market money making machine. I’m a former vet of 20 years who’s body has been through a lot. The doctors here have a total non-caring attitude, will do anything to get out of doing any work, refuse to sign anything, even deny providing assistance for operations that they have sent you off for. They will even delete all record of these operations. I am pursuing complaints through Hadsco and seeking legal council to take matters further.

This clinic represents the very lows of the medical profession. They will shamelessly lie and modify their medical reports after the fact to cover themselves and make you look crazy in their evil web of lies. Do yourself a favour and stay away, at least this will keep you from being penniless and jobless.

Wow … this practise is outstanding… as a desperate attempt to have my Mums ears cleared after seeing her normal GP who was no help at all – I simply cannot rave about this place and service enough. Lovely welcoming waiting area and the doctor OH MY GOODNESS!! Dr Ip, what can I say ??? Except that you truly are a dedicated and very caring soul. Thank you so much for this kind experience to everyone at this centre.

I would say that’s the best GP experience I have ever had in Perth.

I have seen Dr Nara and Dr Kye for several times, both of them are very caring and attentive. They really solved my problems whenever i came for an appointment. I will always come back for them if I need.

Also The receptionists are very nice too, thanks guys. 🙂

ICU was 5 stars, ward rooms very dated and unclean. Reports of black mould, hospital cant even supply patients basic oral care in case patient forgot to bring it. DATED entertainment system. Some nurses are great, but some are just ticking off hours. Out of ICU was put on a bed which was too short for me, when I asked to get an appropriate size bed , response was no we don’t have ( that bed could have been from a ward un the 70’s First night out of ICU nurses did not even put call bell near me. Make matters worse was put in a room where aicon was turned off, AS A PATIENT I HAD TO call and tell reception that air con is not working as the nurse just said ‘oh I do not know why aircon not working Sharps container has been full no one bothers to change it. Dated malfunctioning oxy meters and blood pressure machines unclean between usage between patient rooms. Had an army of 4 cleaners come barging in room to clean windows with no regards to patient privacy HAD I HAD THE CHOICE WOULD HAVE GONE AND PROCEDURE DONE AT ST JOHN OF GOD HOSPITAL Recomendation don’t get cardiac surgery done at mount hospital, in hind sight would have had done more research on hospitals

As a visitor to the hospital for a week, I found the ward and medical staff to be friendly and helpful o patients and visitors. The reception staff however were consistently unhelpful and decidedly unfriendly, not even a glance up or a welcoming smile to any of the people coming through the doors. When I, a slight 62 year old woman was lugging a chair back to reception a nurse had kindly left for my patient to sit in while he waited for me to arrive in the pick up area, she looked up and straight back down again. A smile, a nod, even a thank you would have been nice! Get nicer, more ‘people friendly’ people to sit in that chair! Reception staff at hospitals need to go the extra inch as hospitals are often very challenging places for all involved…not just the patients!

Wait time for admissions was a bit long, however i absolutely impressed with the quality of care at this hospital! from the surgical staff to the ward nurses i was treated extremely well during my stay. one particular nurse (Yehlen) was amazingly attentive and definitely made me feel more comfortable and happy during my stay. i cant say how impressed i am, honestly. so thankful to the amazing carers who made me feel heard, looked after and were always willing to help me no matter how small the request or task.

Although the building itself needs a lot work it’s the people inside that matter . The care I was given by the staff was 10 out 10. Special thanks to nurse Yehlen she is just a beautiful soul and she simply cares about her patients . Dr Graham Jeff’s is a caring empathetic specialist and an amazing surgeon . He came to see me twice after the surgery which shows he cares about his patients The food was also very nice . Thankyou to all the staff and Dr Graham Jeff’s for your support and care I appreciate it immensely. You have made a hospital experience a pleasant one ? G Pratt

I recently had joint replacement surgery and 5 day stay at the Mount. I was very nervous before my op however all the Drs and nurses provided reassurance and kindness. After my surgery I was moved into the Tuart Ward with Dr Larry Liew and the amazing team of nurses and physios. The nursing and compassion I received could not be faulted and when I was discharged I felt confident that I could cope on my own. The only negative aspect of my experience was the car park whose amount of spaces should be reduced and lines redrawn to fit with todays larger vehicles which would enable reasonable room to park and get out of your car.

Planning to Visit an Australian General Practitioner? Here’s What You Should Consider!

    Ainslie House in Perth
    Ainslie House in Perth

When visiting a General Practitioner (GP) in Australia, there are several things to consider to ensure a successful and efficient appointment. By keeping these factors in mind, you can make the most of your visit and receive the care you need:

    • Appointment: In Australia, it is usually necessary to make an appointment to see a GP. While some clinics may accept walk-in patients, it is best to call ahead and schedule an appointment to avoid long wait times.
    • Location: Consider the location of the GP clinic and choose one that is convenient for you. This will make it easier to visit the clinic regularly for check-ups or ongoing care.
    • Medical History: Before your appointment, gather and organize your medical history, including previous test results, diagnoses, and medications. This information will help your GP understand your medical background and provide appropriate care.
    • Symptoms and Concerns: Make a list of the symptoms you are experiencing and any specific concerns you have. This will ensure you address all your health issues during the appointment.
    • Health Insurance: Check whether your GP accepts your health insurance. If not, you may need to pay for the appointment out-of-pocket or find a different GP who does accept your insurance.
    • Interpreter: If English is not your first language or you have difficulty communicating in English, consider bringing an interpreter with you to help facilitate communication with your GP.
    • Questions and Follow-up: Prepare a list of questions to ask your GP during the appointment. Additionally, discuss any necessary follow-up appointments, tests, or referrals that may be required.

By considering these factors when visiting a GP in Australia, you can ensure a smooth and productive appointment that addresses your healthcare needs effectively.

I cannot recommend this institution highly enough. Been living in Australia for 4 years and this is the first proper medical care I received. Nurse Declan was very kind and caring and really eased my anxiety with his gentle and calm personality. Dr Singh and Dr Kennedy were both great with excellent bedside manner and you truly feel like they have your best interests at heart. All the staff was welcoming and friendly. 110% rating from me?? Thank you so much to the team #urgentcarebrisbane

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost gratitude for the exceptional medical care we received at the urgent care center in Indooroopilly. Our visit started with a suspected fractured foot, and after a rather frustrating hour of searching for parking and waiting in a long triage line at the children’s hospital, I decided to do a quick search on my phone. That’s when I stumbled upon the urgent care center’s website and decided to give them a call.

From the first moment I spoke with the receptionist, I could tell we were in good hands. He was incredibly kind and assured us that we could come straight in. We wasted no time and drove to the center. Within just five minutes, we were greeted by nurse Rito, who instantly put my daughter at ease with his warm demeanour and sense of humour.

Nurse Rito wasted no time and promptly arranged for X-rays next door, even providing a wheelchair to make the process easier for my daughter. As soon as we returned, Rito ushered us back in and, within minutes, the doctor arrived to deliver the news that her foot was indeed broken. The doctor skillfully applied a plaster cast, and we were referred to an orthopaedic specialist.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with the level of care we received. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. The atmosphere was filled with kindness and compassion, and it was truly a refreshing change. I had anticipated a hefty bill, but to my surprise, we walked away with crutches, a plaster cast, X-rays, and the most outstanding care for under $200 before the Medicare rebate.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to express my gratitude in this case. The doctors and nurses at the urgent care center in Indooroopilly should be immensely proud of the exceptional care they provide. Nurse Rito, in particular, was an absolute highlight of our visit. His ability to connect with my daughter and make her laugh during a challenging time was truly remarkable.

Thank you once again to the entire staff for their professionalism, compassion, and outstanding service.

I needed to see a doctor quickly and couldn’t get into my regular GP clinic for at least a week, so went to Urgent Care at Indooroopilly. I was able to walk in without an appointment and only had to wait about 10mins. All of the staff were friendly and professional, I was very happy overall. One of the nurses Jenna even called me back the next day to check on me; amazing service. It was a bit more expensive that my regular GP, but definitely worth it for the convenience.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good and how professional the care I received here was. Being Sunday, a new patient and after hours I was expecting a long wait and rudimentary care. Instead the care was first rate, excellent triage nurses and doctors and a CT scan within the hour. Very very impressed and grateful to everyone involved. Very very good.

I was really satisfied with my experience. The clinic was really clean, the staff were super friendly and I feel like I got the care I needed for my condition. I really think this is a great alternative from emergency. And the wait time is appropriate.

Just on a side note for mothers with small children and babies: The clinics reception/waiting area is on the smaller side & got really busy quickly; and there isn’t much seating. The waiting area doesn’t have a lot of standing room; which doesn’t give you much room for parking your pram (so avoid bringing it in, if you can).

Personable and professional advice from Dr Helen Tumusiime, an absolute gem of a medical practitioner. Helpful and friendly reception staff, who makes us feel welcome. Bright and welcoming atmosphere in the clinic physical layout.

I spoke to the doctor there about a Yellow Fever and Typhoid vaccination for travel. The doctor mentioned Hep A, but I declined and he agreed. He wrote as such in his notes. Then, when he talked to the Nurse who was administrating the vaccines, somewhere the nurse was told that I needed the Hep A and Typhoid, despite me specifically not wanting it, and having a requirement for Yellow Fever to enter the regions I am travelling to.

I found this out when realising I hadn’t received the documentation required, I called them, and all of this information was relayed to me. I’m out of pocket $80 for a vaccination I did not require, and will need to pay a further $100+ for the one I had specifically requested and thought I had already paid for.

All because of the incompetence of the staff here.

No happy we booked my son in to this doctor to get a medical done for motor racing. When we booked we told the staff what it was for and we were advised that yes they could do it. We drove all the way over for our appointment for them to turn around and say sorry we don’t have the correct staff on to do this for you. Would not recommend this place.
