      Prem, the owner, is a great barber. He’s friendly, listens to what you want, and has provided a quality haircut both times I’ve been there. The haircuts are well priced with a hard to beat location in the Hobart CBD. We’ve been house-sitting in Hobart and unfortunately now have to go back to Sydney, where decent well-priced barbers can be hard to find. Thanks Prem for the good service while we’ve been in Tassie!

      We happened to find this little treasure of a barber shop today. We were in the area and my husband decided to see if he could get a haircut. Great haircut, short back and sides, scissor cut on top. General beard trim and tidy up of the eyebrows. Hard to find an experienced barber nowadays, my husband has had so many bad cuts but this wasn’t one of them.       Not a real barbershop. I turned up 20minutes before opening, with one barber working in a chair and two ‘sociallising’. Asked if I could get a cut but was told they had no time. Waited 5minutes, while they explored the depths of their phones’ and asked again. But they’re “too busy”. Where has ‘work ethic’ gone? I have no intention of every recommending this barbers.       I came here today because my regular barber was shut, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The service from both men in the store was fantastic, they were very welcoming and friendly and the shop had a general great vibe of calmness. I felt really attended to during the cut. The guy who did my hair (can’t remember his name but he had a magnificent beard) was really thoughtful, recommended something that worked well for my hair and then did the cut with great care. I felt really looked after, ended up with a great haircut that I loved and was blown away by how reasonable the price was considering the service. They could have charged me double what they did and I would have happily paid it.

      I absolutely love coming here. The girls are so lovely and you can hear how supportive the staff are to eachother, especially the senior stylists as the guide the apprentices. Definitely a positive vibe throughout the salon. Susannah is amazing and talks me through everything that she is doing with my hair and why. My hair looks and feels amazing. I’ve been following her instructions and using her recommended products for aftercare as well. My hair is so healthy. Today I also had Susannah put hair extensions in. I told her about my lifestyle and work requirements, so she placed them strategically to ensure I could still put my hair up, without the tape showing and demonstrated how to do my hair.       Got a shampoo and dry off done, just to feel relaxed after a hectic weekend. Holly (stylist) seemed completely uninterested in doing a shampoo. Requested her twice to put some shampoo behind the scalp (around the neck) since that’s my oily spot but NO it was completely DRY. Didn’t shampoo or use water on the right side of the scalp also because she was standing to my left. On drying off when I was feeling extra heat , her reply was “I can’t go any lower” but there’s no reason why it can NOT be done at a fair distance from my hair if I’m feeling the extra heat on my scalp. I go to just cuts every now and then but WORST shampoo and dry off experience given by Holly. She was great at talking, humble and May be a great stylist but definitely not experienced at shampooing and dry off. And the charging $35 for a pathetic job that was done in 14 minutes!!! Walked out rather frustrated than relaxed.. ?

      UPDATE: I Accept the Owners explanation and will consider the Good Will Offer.

      Disappointing the Google Maps stated 4pm closing time for Just Cuts, Park Beach Plaza, Coffs Harbour. My wife and I travelled 38 kilometres on a Sunday arriving at 2.25pm at Just Cuts both requiring a haircut. We were informed by a nice employee they closed at 3pm therefore only one of us could be fitted in for a hair cut due to others on a wait list. When told about Google Maps 4pm close. The same employee stated the BOSS has not updated the closing time on Google Maps. As a result of false information and relying on that information to travel. Just Cuts have lost my future patronage. Also note there is no Seniors Discounts on Sunday.

Today she cut the hair of a ASD level 3 girl (high level autism), hair cuts can be not only a sensory issue but terrifying for people on the spectrum. I’m so amazed by Ally and how well she did! With no guidance from myself Ally was able to explain step by step what she was going to do, she paid attention to sensory issues and always checked before doing something. It honestly couldn’t have been better, I would highly recommend Ally. The hair cut was also beautiful and very well done. The price was also fantastic in comparison to other salons. I now have an awesome super-short cut and feel much more relaxed. As a woman using expensive salons all of my life, sitting in a chair for 2-3 hours for a cut that costs triple the price of a barber just doesn’t work for me now I’ve got a toddler.       Went in yesterday for my 1 year old son’s haircut. Was told couldn’t do it because there was no barber. No other customers in the shop and 2 hairdressers present. Seriously, a hairdresser who can’t cut a 1 year old boy’s hair shouldn’t be a hairdresser. I walked out of the shop in embarrassment for them. They need to pick up their game.

      The Worst cut I have ever had. The owner who hacked at my hair, obviously not only hates her job but people too.

      I felt like I was a very unwelcome visitor. She asked what I wanted but obviously didn’t listen at all.

      Unfortunately here you get what you pay for. They are cheap and nasty. If I had stuck a bowl on my head and had my dog chew around it I would have had a better cut.

      Awesome!!! I had not been to a barber in about 5 years, cutting my own hair with a Remington clipper. Al was very busy, well it was Xmas eve about 3pm when I walked in. Carlos did my hair. He was great! Friendly and supportive of ideas, showing me what I had done wrong and how to fix it, and gave me a great shave and cut.       Bad service, bad colour and a scalp burn. Then on top of that accused of lying. Would not recommend the “blonde specialist” or attending this salon unless you want to look like a tiger, a peeling scalp, a terrible experience and to be patronised on top of that. The manager needs some training in handling complaints. Overall, I would say stick to your usual hairdresser as you will waste your money and leave worse than when you walked in.

      Arrived at 4:30pm, an hour before their advertised closing time only to find the door locked – apparently the four barbers on duty couldn’t get through the remaining 5 customers before 5:30…

      It’s pretty frustrating when you take time off work and make sure you get to the shop with plenty of time to spare only to find yourself locked out because they can’t operate at a decent speed.

      When you’re looking to look good for an event happening on the same night only to get turned away, it’s downright infuriating.

      Can’t recommend the business; it seems to be pure luck whether or not you’re able to be seen.

      I was a first time customer at Cooper and Co. Mary did my hair and later Latoya did my eye brows and eye lashes tint. The customer service was impeccable. The girls were so friendly and kind, I had to bring my young daughter with me and Mary took her to the bathroom for me and helped me too look after her, well above and beyond. The cut was good and so were my eye lash and eye brow tint. Latoya paid extra special care with me and really showed she was paying attention and cared about what she was doing..I highly recommend Cooper and Co. In many ways probably one the best hair dressers I’ve been to in Armidale. Well done Cooper and Co..
