      Another lovely day ride around Wonga Wetlands and a visit to the information centre. It’s located just outside of the Albury town along the Riverina Highway. You can easily cycle here from Albury along the good trail Toilets are available so you can be ready for your walks or bike. There’s a few trails to do with most having a good degree of shade. The Wigarra Trail is 12 km long and the center is the Trailhead. There’s plenty of parking here.

      Such a wonderful asset for Albury/Wodonga region. With a variety of walking tracks, there is always something new to see. The variety of wildlife is incredible for all ages, and the well positioned bird hides are ideal to spend a little longer, without disturbing them. There are basic facilities, including toilets, seated areas, BBQs and a fresh water bubbler too. Also since the construction of a new bike track, running alongside the edge of Wonga Wetlands, you are once again safe to wander at your leisure, as bike riders no longer enter the area. Well worth a visit with the family, or a solo walk, to recharge the batteries. ??

      This place is good, there are 2 trails that you can choose. We choose the short one which is a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed our walk here and had a great time. It’s winter so not too hot for us and a bit walk can warm us up. Highly recommend to come for a visit.

      Such a spectacular and beautiful place!!

      Very mell maintained parkland with spectacular views over the harbour and surrounding areas. There is a fantastic walking path and many picnic areas as well as numerous beaches throughout the park. You can sit and watch the various boats go by or just look over the water and islands in the distance. The park is easy to get to with lots of parking throughout.

      This is a very relaxing space to explore. The area is well maintained and has a, not overly long, system of paths that offer some gorgeous views of the surroundings. There is a small man made beach on hand to give the kids some sand to play in, and there are plenty of BBQs dotted around if you’re in the mood for an alfresco cook up, and if you want someone else to do the cooking there is an excellent cafè on hand to dine at.

      Situated off the road to Bargara is the low-lying volcanic remnant known as “The Hummock” offering visitors spectacular views of the region. The Hummock is a hill with a lookout in an otherwise very flat Bundaberg and surrounds, the weathered remains of a small basaltic volcano. I did a group tour and. Very nice wonderful Beautiful lookout. Nice elevated piece of land that gives sweeping views of the surroundings. The surrounding area is quite flat, so you can see the sweeping expanses all the way to the ocean. There is a small car park available for a couple of cars, not very busy. There is also a little hut with a speaker for some historical information. Beautiful fields and greens around too.

      Great lookout. Nice elevated piece of land that gives sweeping views of the surrounds. The surrounding area is quite flat, so you get to see sweeping expanses all the way to the ocean. There is a cosy car park available for a couple of cars but fortunately this place is not very busy. There is also a little hut with a speaker that reads out some historical information.

      I would walk this trail when the water is lowering as you will be surprised at what you see with the wildlife, I would just take a bottle of bug spray as the mosquitoes were just surrounding us, that’s the downside. The small trail is not bad for wheelchairs just a bit bumpy in some parts and takes it slow.

      Nice cool walk through beautiful Paper Bark forest. The forest at the moment suffers a little from past Cyclone damage and dry conditions. The sound of a variety birds is the only music you need on this wonderful walk past a variety of plants. Recently the Paper Barks were all out in flower and the smell of honey filled the air. Escape the hum drum and hustle and bustle and take a nice quiet walk.

      The Kershaw Gardens is an amazing playground that provides any childlike inclined person tons of fun from the water play area to the multi story climbing net. Put all of this together with a fully covered play area for protecting the family, this has it all. This feels great for the entire family and i would recommend it for all.       My kids loved it. 11 & 9 and they were entertained for over an hour. So much stuff to play on (hamster wheel, 2x zip lines, in ground trampolines, the massive climbing structure and two slides off it.) The water play area was cool too. Only wish the monorail thing was working.

      Awesome park for the whole family. Huge playground with heaps of different areas for kids. Waterfalls are a nice and relaxing and the walk around the gardens is pleasant.

      We really liked here, we went to ice some ice cream. The goats ? are really friendly and likes to eat a lot of food. The kangaroo are approachable. It’s good thing that they tell us earlier what to do and what event to expect. I will definitely come back here.

      DON’T SUPPORT THIS! The animals live under horrendous conditions! We were shocked!

      The birds all looked very tired and there’s not enough space for the amount of birds. The spouts had cracks from climbing on the walls to get food from the visitors.

      In general, all animals were trained to come closer to the visitors to get food and looked very thin and weak.

      The kangoroos had infections you could clearly see but the workers seemingly ignored it. Their fur didn’t look healthy at all and they moved around really slowly in their small compound.

      The wombat looked half dead with short breaths, so not even like it was sleeping. It didn’t move at all.

      The reptiles had way too small cages and the plants inside them were fake. The turtle only had a small pond, the water seemingly dirty and hot.

      The dingos and wallabies seemed extremely weak and exhausted, their compounds way too small. The only toys for the dingos were three plastic things.

      If you care about the animals, don’t come here. Visit real wildlife parks.

      This was perfect stop over for us on our way back to Perth from Augusta. We had a nice walk around the park, fed some of the animals we were permitted to, and one of the staff was even kind enough to tell us more about the reptiles. While it’s not intended to be a huge zoo, there’s a good variety of species to see. After, we enjoyed some ice cream before heading home. This is a good family-friendly place and wheelchair friendly.

      Stunning park area with a lookout, small waterfall, picnic areas and a restaurant. The park itself is relatively large and there’s plenty of different short walks to choose from. The lookout is particularly nice, with views of Table Top Mountain and the surrounding area. Dogs are allowed on leash in the park, including down to the waterfall area and stepping stones. Parking can be quite limited and there’s toilet facilities nearby.

      Food was average and well overpriced, but unfortunately, it’s all that’s there. It feels like it preys on a captive audience and could be so much more with a bit of effort.       This place is beautiful and extremely well maintained, excellent place for a BBQ or a picnic, the view is amazing. There are also multiple walks. The children will be spoilt for choice as there are multiple children parks which are all in good condition.

      This is such a beautiful nature walk up through the rainforest, up a mountain to see beautiful views of Cairns airport, beaches and city. There are lots of stairs and paths. A great place for a once off visit, or many people use it for exercise everyday.

      We did the red arrow and blue arrow hikes. The red arrow was paved and had defined steps which is good if you’re going to jog along it.

      The blue arrow trail is more technical and took us about 3 hours to complete. Recommend having good hiking boots to do it as it was muddy/slippery in a number of places and a lot of the trail involved walking over/on tree roots. Don’t start it too late in the day as it gets darker earlier when under the tree canopy. The photos are from the lookout at the top of the blue arrow trail.

      Nice view on a sunny day, light on details of why the barracks was operational to circa 2006. Especially after the harbour was deemed too shallow for invading warships and the gun emplacements were abandoned nearly 100 years earlier. Thought Darwin was the only city bombed by the Japanese, apparently Townsville was as well three times in a week, no damage done though.

      An informative place, a relaxing place and a learning place all wrapped in 1. Very close to the strand. It is a historic sites which is .aintained and developed very well. I feel it is a must see to bring our history to life and inform.
