Nice place for a walk or picnic, next to the zoo, good views of the Burrum River, public toilets and BBQ area that is close to a playground for the little ones.

Cracker of a park to visit, plenty of space to play and spread out. Only comment would be they could use a cover over the swings, my toddler wanted to play but they were very hot to my touch so I didn’t let her swing. Very good experience with the free zoo along side. Hopefully they get funding to expand to it but it was lovely.

Love this Park & it’s a Lovely place to stop. Plenty of parking, easy access to take a breather along the Barnett River, take a walk around, visit the zoo animals, have lunch, a BBQ or Picinic undercover, tree’s or not. Kid’s play area, facilities available & wheelchair friendly. If your lucky you may be able to catch the Dingo brother & sister going for a walk with there zoo handler’s and maybe a pat ?

We were invited to my friend’s 5-year-old boy’s birthday. It was my first time at the play centre and it was really cool. My kids 7 and 3 years old enjoyed themselves so much on the slides, ball pits and jumping castle. I will suggest this play centre to anyone with kids. Birthdays, playdate or just for the fun.

The Kershaw Gardens is an amazing playground that provides any childlike inclined person tons of fun from the water play area to the multi story climbing net. Put all of this together with a fully covered play area for protecting the family, this has it all. This feels great for the entire family and i would recommend it for all. Come and play in the park, have a BBQ then spend the afternoon relaxing in the water play. Do not miss !!

My kids loved it. 11 & 9 and they were entertained for over an hour. So much stuff to play on (hamster wheel, 2x zip lines, in ground trampolines, the massive climbing structure and two slides off it.) The water play area was cool too. Only wish the monorail thing was working.

A trip to the unassuming but absolutely beautiful Koombana Bay Foreshore is in order. Comparing it to anything else would be unjust because it has its own unique allure. The kids can have a blast all day long on the spacious playground. Plenty of space to park, and plenty of pavillions furnished with grills and chairs for families to gather around for meals. You may watch wild dolphins if you visit at the right time, and the views of the bay are breathtaking. You should definitely stop by if you find yourself in Bunbury.

Google Map the giant head sculpture and it brings you closer to park right next to the playground. Worth a quick stop when passing thru for the kids and to stretch your legs. Easy access right up to the calm, clean water of Koombana Bay. Not windy sets it apart from many other seafront locations in WA. The Dolphin Discovery Centre a stroll away has volunteers spotting for dolphins n a bell is rung if sighted as they swim right up to shore for a pat, usually warmer seasons early mornings or late afternoons. Play area suited my 2.5 yr old toddler who likes to climb while my less adventurous 4 yr old preferred the sand and sea. Shelters with benches. BBQs. All clean. Shower n tap for rinsing off. Relaxing quiet spot away from crowds of Busselton. You could walk here from Koombana Bay Hotel with a stroller. Highly recommend the Big Swamp Playground for toddlers a brief drive away – less hot in summer. Grab a double cheeseburger from Paddy’s Patties a short drive away to enjoy here.

Koombana Bay Foreshore is a simple yet superb place to visit. It has its own charm and will be unfair to compare with any other. Plus points are children play area is quite big and they can have all day fun. Lots of parking and many sheds with barbeque and seating arrangements for families to enjoy meals. Bay views are stunning and if you come at right time you may see wild dolphins. If you are in Bunbury, it warrants your one visit. Nearby Koombana Bay lookout and Dolphins Discovery Centre are the added attractions.

K o o m b a n a B a y F o r e s h o r e With events on over the last couple of days this places was stacked and the struggle to find parking was real… There are heaps of parking bays so this wouldn’t be a problem on quieter days. There were cyclists, people doing yoga on the grassed area, their drums playing in the background and lots of children running around at the playpark. The flying fox seems to be in high demand and kids are lining up to have their turn. My favourite was the latest public art work displayed in Bunbury … Wardandi Boodja (unveiling was 15.02.2019) – “The five and a half metre corten steel bust sculpture represents a Noongar face and the contemporary artwork pays deep respect to the Noongar people.” Amazing to look at from different angles. There were life guards on the beach and families swimming, enjoying the water. If you look closely you’ll see some dolphins swimming around. There is a cafe to buy food from. The sailing club is situated on private property. So I couldn’t explore that area in more detail. There are campgrounds opposite the main road for those looking to book a couple of nights stay in Bunbury. It’s close to town and the Dolphin Discovery Centre sits at the end of the Foreshore. Toilet and shower facilities are available. A great place for families to relax.

Great place to capture fresh air, view of beautiful water, admire the architectural statue of Wardandi man and kids being entertained with the playground. With bbq facilities and benches available, it’s a perfect spot to catch up with groups of friends. Toilet amenities nearby too. I’ve been there many times with various people and love the place. Highly recommend a visit there.

Sister Elizabeth Kenny (20 September 1880 – 30 November 1952) was a self-trained Australian bush nurse who developed an approach to treating polio that was controversial at the time. Her method, promoted internationally while working in Australia, Europe and the United States, differed from the conventional one of placing affected limbs in plaster casts. Instead she applied hot compresses, followed by passive movement of the areas to reduce what she called "spasm". Chipmunks did an excellent job with our daughters birthday and their service was great. Thank you for being helpful with a few of our requests with our cake and party bags. We also forgot our free return certificate for our daughter and Lisa messaged us to let us know, so they went above and beyond. Much appreciated. The party room was great and the kids had a blast! Cheers Lisa and the rest of the team at chipmunks! ☺️???

This is the 3rd year in a row our daughter has had her birthday party there, and we are impressed year after year. The staff are amazing, and the convenience of not needing to lift a finger is well worth the small amount it costs. The gift bags for the party child and guests have changed this year, and all children were very excited to receive these.

Attended the Halloween Party tonight with my 5 children. They had a fantastic time and I had peace of mind that they were safe (and not knocking on strangers doors). My youngest son even won one of the best dressed prizes. Food was also great and we didn’t have to wait long for it! We’ve been to the play Cafe a few times before and always loved it, but tonight was extra special! Thanks for a great time!

I cannot rate Chipmunks Toowoomba highly enough! Lisa, Ian, and the team were amazing at organising my son’s 3rd birthday party. With over 40 children, I just walked in, relaxed during the party, and walked out – I didn’t have to stress about anything. Their service, the set up, the food, the gift bags – it was all incredible! They went above and beyond, and my son had a wonderful day. Thank you all so much!!

Thank you Lisa!!!! Edwards 4th birthday! He had a great time and so did his birthday friends! Chips were really nice we ordered another lot. The equipment is so clean and different levels of activities for different ages, my son loved the hidden ball area where you put all the foam balls into machines. Children age 10 easily would have a great time due to how high slides were and exploring. We will be back as it’s a really awesome way to learn climbing skills, balancing, heights all in a safe area, perfect for children with motor skill delay such as my own boy. Lisa is a great lady who really takes pride in how her ship is run! My hat goes off to her ability to be an octopus managing everything. See you again soon

Went here for a birthday and my little one (15 months) had an absolute blast! There was a crash pad area for littles that she loved. We will definitely be coming back with one exception: the Tiny Tots area (5 and under) needs to be managed and supervised better by the staff. There were multiple children who were definitely over the age of 5 crashing through the jumping castles, being rough with the young children and all over dangerous. Staff members never once said anything, despite heaps of signs stating the area was 5 and under.

Her principles of muscle rehabilitation became the foundation of physical therapy or physiotherapy in such cases. Her life story was told in a 1946 film, Sister Kenny, where she was portrayed by Rosalind Russell, who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.

There is a toddler playground that is fully surrounded by a fence. The playground has a few swings, climbing things, a slide (made of metal for some reason), sand, picnic tables, BBQs, and some shade.

Next to the toddler playground is a playground for older kids. Fun climbing ropes, a rope hammock, and slide (made of metal for some reason). Shaded by a large tree. Lots of mozzies.

There are other picnic tables, BBQs and footpaths. Pretty. Access paths to the beach.

      There are also public toilets.

The history of Australia is the history of the land and peoples of the continental land mass and offshore territories which now comprise the Commonwealth of Australia. The Commonwealth of Australia came into existence on 1 January 1901 as a federation of former British colonies, however the human history of Australia commences with the arrival of the first ancestors of Aboriginal Australians by sea from Maritime Southeast Asia between 50,000 and 65,000 years ago, and continues to the present day multicultural democracy.
Aboriginal Australians settled throughout continental Australia and many nearby islands. The artistic, musical and spiritual traditions they established are among the longest surviving in human history. The ancestors of today's ethnically and culturally distinct Torres Strait Islanders arrived from what is now Papua New Guinea around 2,500 years ago, and settled the islands on the northern tip of the Australian landmass. The last great wave of immigration to Australia began with the foundation of Sydney by the British First Fleet in 1788 and continues to the present, while the first people to settle remote offshore territories of Australia including Norfolk Island, Heard and McDonald Islands and the Australian Antarctic Territory were often of British/European Australian stock.
The first known landing in Australia by Europeans was in 1606 by Dutch navigator Willem Janszoon on Australia's northern coast. Dutch navigators explored the western and southern coasts in the 17th century and named the continent New Holland. Macassan trepangers visited Australia's northern coasts from around 1720, and possibly earlier. In 1770, Lieutenant James Cook charted the east coast of Australia and claimed it for Great Britain. He returned to London with accounts favouring colonisation at Botany Bay (now in Sydney). The First Fleet of British ships arrived at Botany Bay in January 1788 to establish a penal colony. In the century that followed, the British established other colonies on the continent, and European explorers ventured into its interior. Aboriginal Australians were greatly weakened and their numbers diminished by introduced diseases and conflict with the colonists during this period. From 1871, the Torres Strait Islanders welcomed Christian Missionaries, and the islands were later annexed by Queensland, choosing to remain a part of Australia when Papua New Guinea gained independence from Australia a century later.
Gold rushes and agricultural industries brought prosperity. Transportation of British convicts to Australia was phased out from 1840 to 1868. Autonomous parliamentary democracies began to be established throughout the six British colonies from the mid-19th century. The colonies voted by referendum to unite in a federation in 1901, and modern Australia came into being. Australia fought as part of British Empire and later Commonwealth in the two world wars and was to become a long-standing ally of the United States through the Cold War to the present. Trade with Asia increased and a post-war immigration program received more than 7 million migrants from every continent. Supported by immigration of people from almost every country in the world since the end of World War II, the population increased to more than 25.5 million by 2021, with 30 per cent of the population born overseas.

Fantastic local park! This fenced park has all the features and none of the gimmicks. Toilets. Free electric BBQs. Shaded seating and table area. Great playground equipment. Epic slides to more baby friendlly slides. All tied together with a railway theme – who said that Hobart didn’t have a rail system worth talking about – ha haaa….

Such a great place for toddlers and kids. The whole park is gated which makes is super safe for kids to explore. There are lots of activities and paths to follow and even a wheelchair accessable swing. The pirate ship was cool but there were ants all over the slide. If you bring lunch make sure it’s tucked away safe till your ready to eat the crows there like get into anything. Also there are so many mosquitos so I highly recommend bug repellent!

Lots of fun things to do. Sandpit. Musical bridges. Wheelchair swing. Secure surrounding fencing. Parking close by. Bbq/celebration areas close by.

This playground has a nice design in a nature setting, however there is actually not much play equipment and it doesn’t keep my son entertained for long. I think it would benefit from some upgrades.
