I had an absolutely delightful experience at Little Bali Street Food. The mi goreng I had was hands down one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The flavors were rich and authentic, leaving me craving for more. What truly made this dining experience special was the owner’s warm hospitality. She treated us like family, taking the time to chat with us and ensuring we felt right at home. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a place where you’re welcomed with open arms and served incredible food. I can’t wait to return!

Our dining experience at this restaurant was truly amazing. Our initial lunch visit left us so impressed that we couldn’t resist returning for dinner the following day. The staff, without a doubt, were not only incredibly friendly but also very attentive. They even remembered us from our previous visit and graciously offered complimentary food starters. Also they offered us complimentary peanuts for our dinner visit.
At lunchtime, they have a special menu that is exceptionally affordable compared to the other lunch options available in Surfers Paradise.
Thank you Little Bali Street Food. We enjoyed a lot ❤️.

The food was excellent (I ordered the Crispy Pork and Rice and some spring rolls) and presented well for a takeaway order. However, for the price you pay, the serving was quiet small. The service was quick and friendly, however, the server didn’t quiet understand or know the menu when I placed my order and was confused when I asked for the order.

Chanced upon this Korean stall and ordered the pork Kimchi noodle.. the broth is so thick, which I never tasted before in other stalls, which are usually watery. The pork is all lean meats, which is so healthy for me. Really love it.. Can’t wait to go again.

One of the few remaining old school large hawker centres in Singapore. Many many stores serving a huge variety of local food, spanning across two buildings. Most of the famous stores that other reviewers had mentioned are in one of the building (nearer to the wet market).
Store are generally divided into two categories: Those serving breakfast and lunch, and those serving dinner and supper until late.
In today’s visit, I tried the Teochew minced pork noodles and the carrot cake. Both are really very good =) I will definitely come again to try the other stores!
Ambience: clean and well ventilated.
Parking: limited. Consider parking at the HDB multi-storey carpark across the road.

Over the many years I have absolutely enjoyed the Fat Noodle Member specials. It’s such good value for money and they do not compromise in the quality and the flavours of the dishes. I leave feeling satisfied every time. We do order off the menu too. I don’t like to pay too much for Bahn Mi but that Crispy Pork Belly was just so tasty. The service is great too. Even when they are extremely busy the staff are there to accommodate. Thank you to all the staff and the chefs for your amazing hard work. I highly recommend the food here.

My experience at the Fat Noodle restaurant in Brisbane was quite intriguing. Unfortunately, the special of the day was a letdown – it was dry and lacked both sauce and flavor, ultimately leading me to return the dish. However, I must commend the manager for being incredibly understanding and generous, offering me another dish at no charge.
Opting for the Singaporean laksa turned out to be a wise decision. The broth was delightfully rich and bursting with flavors. The portions of chicken, seafood, and noodles were ample, though the absence of vegetables was a downside for me. Despite the initial hiccup, the restaurant redeemed itself with a satisfying meal, thanks in part to their accommodating manager.

This was our first time and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We ordered two dishes. Pork pad see ew and Roti curry. The pad see ew was full of that smokey sweet flavour. It was cooked to perfection. The roti curry had spice and flavour as you would expect, however there wasn’t enough roti bread.
The service was exceptional. Staff would make sure you were taken care of.
Will definitely be coming back.

Service –
5/5; very fast and attentive. We Sat outside and were worried we might get forgotten but the lovely young lady was great.
Atmosphere –
5/5; place was packed on a Saturday night
Food
4/5 – Wish I could rate this higher – the entree’s were amazing. Especially the Sashimi, the quality blew us away.
Unfortunately the mains (we both ordered chicken laksa) left a lot to be desired. It was by no means bad, but any laksa from a food van or market would knock it out of the park. Not much ingredients or depth of flavour it just tasted very creamy. For this reason had to rate it 4/5… however I would still like to return and try other mains!

Somewhat disappointed with the food quality as I have had my dish overseas many times before and was much tastier. Very bland this time and was not hot when served at table indicating precooked, not freshly cooked. And it came out very quick. Service was average. Atmosphere was nice but extremely busy. Would I recommend… no.

A casual Thai eatery in Melbourne CBD where we can taste decent Thai food with a great ambiance. Upon entering, we are welcomed by a Tuk-tuk as part of its decoration. This place has two storeys restaurant without outdoor seating area.
This place is always full of customers, which is a good indicator of a good place to eat, so make sure to make a reservation in advanced or come earlier to save a spot.
My recommendation for the food would be the steamed fish and the pineapple fried rice. The tomyum soup is clear and taste okay though. Overall, this is a good place to have a casual Thai food with considered pocket friendly.

Vn Street Foods in Sydney, Australia
Vn Street Foods
Address: 294/296 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204, Australia
Flying in to Sydney from Melbourne on a delayed Jetstar flight we decided to dine out on our drive home rather than eat during the flight and VN Street Foods definitely featured on or short list of options. It’s about a 10 minute drive from where we parked at P3 domestic parking.
We arrived a little before 6pm on the 27th of January 2024. There were plenty of free tables and only two small groups ordering before us.
After about half a nanosecond of deliberation we ordered 2x highly affordable #30 Bun Cha then selected our table outside and sat down. Our meals were prepared and delivered within a couple of minutes.
The offerings appeared quite generous and the flavours and aroma took me back in my mind to Hanoi but fortunately the seats at Vn Street Foods weren’t the low type found in Vietnam.
The medley of grilled meat swimming in a sweet aromatic sauce/broth gave a smokey, slightly charred flavour. The generous side of herbs and greens made up of mint, coriander, perilla leaf and some leaves of butter lettuce were added to the bowl providing a freshness of flavour that complimented the charred meatiness. Throw in a portion of rice vermicelli noodles and the flavour party really starts.
We enjoyed our meals immensely. The portion size is completely adequate and the bun Cha dish doesn’t leave you feeling heavy.
I will definitely eat here again

I have never met or seen an ‘overweight’ Vietnamese before. Have you??? I think this may have a great deal to do with their diet! Hence, Vietnamese cuisine ranks high up on our most favourite cuisines. Visiting Sydney over Xmas & NY, our host suggested that we take a long drive to Marrickville to try out “VN Street Food”…lots of Vietnamese out that way apparently.
We got there around lunch time (no bookings taken), and managed to get the last big table for 5, while one person lined up outside to place the food orders. Everyone ordered the grilled lemongrass pork bun cha, except me…I said, I must have VN’s ‘beef pho’. Surely that’s the measure of how good a Vietnamese restaurant is, right? (Wrong!)
When the food arrived, I was really regretting not following the advice to get the Bun Cha. The Beef pho was tasty and nice, but the Bun Cha (which I managed to steal some scraps off peoples’ plates) was amazing. The grilled pork was deliciously cooked (slightly charred), the sauce was very tasty, and the variety of herbs piled on the platter was very generous. Next time, I am ordering the Bun Cha, no question about it!
Well done VN Street Food. Very healthy food at very affordable prices. I can feel my waistline unchanged, but I was still feeling full. I will be back to Marrickville, despite the distances I have to travel.

We ordered two Grilled lemongrass pork with rice vermicelli and a lotus drink. The soup of these dishes are sweet, so people who are not used to eating pho with sweet soup may need to be careful, although this dish is recommended by many people. And the lotus drink is sweet and taste good.
Moreover, there are a lot of people lining up during lunch time, so be prepared to wait in line to order.

We had a family dinner at this Asian restaurant, food district close by the ocean.
Young staff nice and professional.
We had fried chicken, asian fried rice, which were all right. Maybe the prawn Gyoza plate were slightly misleading. I was expecting whole prawns but in fact prawn dumplings were served. Could not really feel the taste of the prawns. Also a plate of tossed greens at $14 were a bit too expensive.
Still, we enjoied the place and we might give it a second chance.

The service was fantastic. The food was great, their Junk Thai was delicious with a good mix of flavour and spice.
The Pork Bao was good, could be better with a bit more flavour and moisture. The Satay rice bowl was good too but felt like it needs more flavour but this could be due to tofu and not meat with more flavour to accent the satay rice. The pork dumplings were delicious. Overall, it was great and highly recommend Junk!

I recently dined here on the advice from a couple who were also here on holidays and I’m extremely grateful I took them up on that advice.
We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and shown to our seats. The restaurant is set out well with plenty of seating both inside and out in the alfresco area, reservations are made online through their website. Staff were prompt with service and very impressed by the way they went about their business however the star ⭐️ of the evening was the food absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. The butter chicken and the duck salad were both on par as being the best restaurant dishes I have ever had and not forgetting the salted caramel and sour cream slice for dessert it was exceptional also.
