      Great beach for families. There are kids playgrounds, cafe, ice cream shops, mini train and areas for picnic. We normally come here to grab fish and chips to eat whilst sitting on the grass. Everything is easily accessible, with plenty of parking.

      Lying on the white sand and swimming with the waves are my ways of enjoying and connecting with mother nature in this clean and beautiful place. Playgrounds are ideal for families with kids. It’s only about 17km from the CBD. Parking is easy and clean as well. I can’t remember the number of times I’ve been here because they’re too many to remember.

      A great beach to take the family. Dunes are nice, plenty of grassed area over a kilometre or so just behind the dunes. Near the jetty is always pretty vibrant on the weekends. The sand bar near here makes a nicer/safer swimming spot for the kids at higher tides, as well as the water seems to be warmer there too.

The 990 bus travels from the central bus port in the Perth CBD directly to the beach for those who are on a budget and want to see more of the city.

      The beach that we visited the most during this trip. Near to CC sister kid’s school ~ a very good place for us to hang around and chill between the drop off and pick up time from school. Very beautiful and big beach ~ we parked at different places during each visit and have seen the different yet all beautiful side of Scarborough Beach (kinda hard for me to pronounce the name right at first ?)

      Spectacular spot to relax at the end of a big day, solo, or with friends and family. The grassy knoll is a fantastic spot for this occasion, being beautifully manicured and irrigated, soft turf. Nearby bars and cafes are perfect for a bite to eat or afternoon session. This is a must do if in the area. My first time watching the spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean. AAA +++

      Great beach!! There is always something going on whatever the season, winter markets or summer dance nights!!! Family friendly with toilets, playgrounds, lots of food options!! Also really good for a night out…early in and early out…very busy but great fun!!

      Lots of wide open spaces for playing frisbee or ball games. Three different beaches and one is allocated for your dog. Play equipment such as swings and slides, BBQ and picnic tables available, with ample parking in street or in privided car park. Toilets are medium clean, but usable.

      My favourite place to launch the kayak in Brisbane. You do need a high tide though. There’s kayaks & SUP’s for hire and a coffee van for the post paddle coffee.

      Unfortunately, we arrived at the low tide, and after a storm. Water was extremely dirty and muddy, thus ruining the day at the beach otherwise, this is a nice place to go with a family.

      A small but beautiful beach about around 45 minutes comfy train journey. And just 2 minutes walking distance from the train station. There are three tiny beaches here and what I saw was people were enjoying themselves with their family members, friends, etc. There was a small tourist market over there( local handmade goods are sold there) One of the beaches has small colorful changing rooms are there which is one of the attractions of this beach.

      The beach is nothing to shout about but the highlight were the small bathhouses. It’s quite cool to see so many different colors and designs but given the number of tourists.

      It’s a beautiful beach for photo-taking and sightseeing in Melbourne! Those colorful cabins on the beach were awesome and some of them had nice designs and paintings on the walls. The only thing is that there was a big construction site next to the beach, which was a bit annoying. Hopefully we can see the whole beach area again soon!

      Very nice beach. Calm water, perfect for kids. Went there around 10am with my wife and baby. Parking was easy that time ..there was still a number of parking available by the time we left. We had our lunch at the Hunter Park across the street.

      Fabulous family and child friendly beach. Safe swimming with minimal wave action but made up by some fun jumping off the jetty. Perfect for long beach walks and exploring the rocks at low tide especially. Great amenities and playground. Lots of shade on grassed areas too. Dogs on leash are welcomed.

      This beach is miles better than other popular beaches. A few restaurants u can enjoy lunch or dinner. I’d recommend buying some snacks and drinks at a nearest supermarket if possible, cuz unfortunately, there is no place u can buy them around the beach.

      This is an amazing family friendly beach. The waves are minimal, and are kid-friendly. There’s beach sand here. You can build a sandcastle. At the western and eastern ends of the beach is a lot of parkland with tree-shaded areas. There’s several toilet facilities here. Kiosks are located near the beach and across the road. Parking is hard to come by during summer, and the on-street parking is expensive. A lot of people catch the bus to this beach – some people even park their cars blocks away from the beach to take advantage of the free parking, and then catch the bus the few blocks to the beach. This is a great spot to visit. We walk to this beach from Manly and Sydney regular – part of an amazing harbour walking route.

      A big yes for an Family Beach Holiday time. Very busy during public holidays for sure but live the energy here. About 2 hours up the coast from Brisbane. Parking is not easy (always) but it helps save much time and effort if you just drive straight to the paid indoor parking for a flat rate of $12.5 then all is good.

      Best to hit it up early to stake your spot and avoid the crowds.

      Beautiful beach. Yes there’s a safe and patrolled swimming area. However, I tend to walk along the beach to where it’s less populated. Lots of space to sit, read a book, watch the surfers, explore the multitude of rock pools that expose themselves at low tide, close my eyes and listen to the ocean. Or grab an ice-cream or take-aways from one of the many restaurants and sit on the beach. Or watch an amazing sunset, moonrise, whatever! Love this beach!

      I been there with my friend and then next day i back again for have look sunrise.Haha but missed out 30min. it was ok! So many things to do Haha for me. Actually this place great dating with love❤️.plan someone who fall in love, come here and convincing each other. Don’t forget to Walking around with coastal area, have look and listen sea wave sound and pick up seashells and dead coals. But I noticed myself that as watched documentary how many special coal reefs dead with caused by climate changed and then how made by salinity and acid. It make me strongly sad ? as well.

      We can visit if you guys take the train from central station, it takes an hour and half. It’s overwhelming and nice to chill out. There are big shopping mall and plenty of good quality restaurants as well. It’s a shame that I arrived at there quite late, I couldn’t feel the vibe enough. I’m gonna surely visit again.
