Scott deserves a promotion into management. He was patient, professional and resolved an ongoing issue I’d had with wrong belt sizes given by another employee. He knew his stuff and even redirected a colleague who was struggling while serving me. As a business owner I’d happily employ Scott and those like him. After 6 years with Repco I’m unsure why he’s not already in management.

If you’re wanting customer service or even a slight bit of knowledge around automotive parts. Don’t see the old bloke with glasses

He doesn’t care about what you’re chasing and the effort needed to click the mouse a few times on the computer to order a part, is just far too much for this bloke

He’s that lazy he insisted they didn’t even stock any type of hose for any vehicles.(pretty rubbish automotive store if you ask me) After returning to the car and calling repco in McGregor, I had the part ordered and on its way in a matter of minutes

DONT GO TO THIS SHOP also not a rant, just saving people from honestly wasting their time with this REPCO

I can only share this as a regular customer of this store as its within walking distance to home. We have been ordering basically the same meal for approximately 6 years until closure about a year ago. Staff at front counter not friendly and argumentative with customers. Now, I appreciate some items being prepared in advance but a roll with chicken and gravy. How hard is that. The cooking staff easily took the initiative to make it as ordered for years. The chicken with pineapple pack was just acceptable. A little dry Customers who order should be asked to grab their drinks while waiting for food so its not forgotten. It needs a lot of improvement to match before closure

So I ordered the $5 meal the quarter chicken and chips, I also got one piece of sweet honey chicken for $2.50. The quarter chicken was the smallest chicken leg with thigh I’ve seen, definitely not a quarter and the sweet honey chicken for $2.50 was the size of a chicken wing. I saw the manager whispering to the workers something and when I got home and opened the bag it dawn on me what he told his employees ?. Seriously though Don’t go to Red Rooster Aspley total rip off total fraud. Aspley community deserves better. Red Rooster franchise hope you are paying attention. Never ever will I go back there ??????

Ordered the Hot Honey Fried Pack and the chicken was succulent and crispy, and each piece was larger than what you’d usually expect. However this experience was affected by the lacking customer service – I clearly ordered the ‘Hot Honey Fried Pack’ but was served a ‘Hot Honey Satisfryer’ meal. Proceeded to rectify this error with the store manager (who suspected that I ate half the chips beforehand)- however, I told him the chips were served as is (poorly packed/half empty). All the staff were indifferent and non-apologetic. I would still return again and am willing to rough the poor customer service just because the chicken was so good.

Decided to take family home some Red Rooster for dinner. Purchased the family feeder meal for $36. When we drove through to window the staff were really friendly & professional, however once home our food was the worst I’ve ever had from a Red Rooster. Our chips were cold, soggy from not being cooked properly and had absolutely NO seasoning at all. Our chicken was cold and looked awful in the box. We did get alright roasted potatoes and and the coleslaw was nice but gravy was cold and tasted a bit strange. Sadly our overall purchase was disappointing and not to keen to spend money there again anytime soon.

Their mash potatoes are usually 3/4 gravy. Orders are messed up 50% of the time, and that is ordering in person. Modified orders over the phone results in certain tragedy. You’ll get a better outcome if you make an order in person outside of busy hours.

Chloe the manager was extremely rude. First she tried to charge me twice saying she could not see my transaction at the kiosk. Then she was not able to print the receipt asserting she couldn’t see the payment. Employee in boost shall learn first how to be polite and apologise in case they make mistakes. Zero customer care skills. Shouldn’t work in front of clients nor in the beach office

Went there at 6.23pm 18th Jan; the girl working there had no interest in serving the customers, and was forcing everyone to use the machine to order while she was busy taking photo of the watermelon display. She was being absolutely rude and It was very unpleasant to be there buying $11 smoothie.. very poor customer service.

I drink watermelon and lychee juice almost two or three times a week, but today, when they finished making the watermelon juice and gave it to me, I obviously ate lychees that had not been completely crushed. When I went to report it to the staff, a male employee he replied very confidently that there will be no problem with the juice they made. This is a cup of watermelon and lychee juice. This store has been opened in the city for many years. I thought the reputation would be very good. I just want to give feedback on the service level of the staff, but When I opened this place, I found that the score of this store was much lower than I expected. I will not come to this store again because the quality of juice production is not worthy of the price, and the service attitude of the employees is very arrogant.

A great selection of washing machine sizes. Reasonable prices. Quick drying facilities makes laundry days a breeze. Well kept and clean. Sink and hand liquid soap a must, which are provided. Phone reception in the area is weak, but hopefully work on the towers to improve the area’s signal will be helpful to make the waiting time more productive. Happy days!

private King room with great view. just a bed, toilet and shower which were tiny, but it’s all we needed. ( couldn’t have got in the shower if we were any chunkier tho ) 5 minute walk to suncorp and the city . unfortunately they didn’t have any close parking for us, as they’d sold off their parking for concert goers, but location was key. pool and rooftop bar were a winner too. thought it was a bit expensive but again, location was great and after a big night ,the bed was really comfy. Very clean and tidy ?

Giving 1 star purely because I was left with nowhere to go during the housing crises I am an Australian citizen and I had to get out of a abusive share house I just had gotten out of hospital from Kidney stones I wasn’t well and it’s the only place I could think of temporarily to get on my feet while I searched for housing.

I called and I booked with them over the phone and paid and they took my details over the phone without explaining they can’t take locals. I booked an Uber and got what I had and when I got to the desk they told me they can’t take locals. I said I had paid and they gave me a look of they just want me gone.

I wanted an instant refund but the refund would take 3 days. It was also raining outside and getting late. For the first time in my life I felt like this is it I could be homeless and it’s raining outside. The staff were carrying on like just another day in the office I couldn’t believe it was shocking. I’m just not used to ever being treated this poorly I felt like what it felt to be in the eyes of others. Humiliated a scum of the earth a bum and really all I wanted was to get away from abuse and have a better life.

There was absolutely no sense of empathy or trying to understand what had happened and that they shouldn’t of taken my money or booked me in and the position I was in. I was totally out of options just out of hospital and caught a train 8 hours to Central Queensland afterwards. It was a real shame the way I was treated and I believe in this instance if the business was reasonable possibly they could of listened and made an exception for at least the night considering it was raining and the refund hadn’t been processed.

Private room was basic but clean and nice, very loud trains passing at nighttime which kept us awake but not the fault of the hostel I suppose, many staff very rude. We ware hanging around for an hour to go get out bus and very disappointed that we had to pay to leave our bags in lockers and that we ware unable to use the communal bathrooms on the ground floor as we had checked out. We had already paid to stay for three nights. Showers are poor and bathrooms ware very dirty. Overall its location is not too bad and it’s not overly expensive but again staff and cleanliness let it down.

Worst hostel so far in Australia. Staff were great, friendly and helpful, but the building itself and the processes in place need a complete overhaul. Cleaning is seriously so bad. The building feels like a haunted hospital. Doona cover looked like it hadn’t been washed since it was bought in the 90s, covered in white dried fluid. The toilets that have showers aren’t signposted so you spend ages looking. The showers are dark, musty, without windows and only run cold. Wall next to my bed had something gross running down it. Room was next to noisy train tracks. Location isn’t great, it’s a minimum 40 minute walk into Fortitude Valley. Kitchen was sooooo grim, noodle blocked sinks. The rooftop area needs some serious interior design love put into it.

Also, the worst grievance, the east coast fork shortage continues here.

I was absolutely abused by a guy name nick hes a manger blamed me for being sick with a little cold and kicked me out and they randomly call an ambulance then kick me out. So disgusting. I was absolutely abused by him and then he says I was harassing the guest. His name is nick and he’s a manager absolutely disgusting service and leaves me to suffer in the street and threatened me with police feral. Because I was sick going from cold weather Canberra to a new type of weather. Like what do U expect. Absolutely disgusting. He will kick U out if U are sick. Ask him for his tapes. He was so rude nick the manager works on Fridays and said he’s been there all week and lies about what he does. Disgusting.

We visited during the annual halloween event held at Caboolture Historical Village this year. Halloween is always a magical time of year; giving adults and kids an excuse to dress up, have fun and indulge our sweet tooth just a little. It was our first time attending this event, and what an experience we had. The village gave a nice balance of fright while also being family friendly. Be prepared to hear many screams as you explore the night. The halloween decorations showcased were beautifully integrated with the historical buildings, and curated items can be enjoyed throughout the village. The mandatory jumpscare was on the table for the night. Volunteers included ghosts and ghouls in the hospital, witches that gave us a wonderfully ‘horrifying’ welcome as well as a caged prisoner. The details were well thought throughout the event. You could also find a chainsaw madman chasing people through the village. There were statues that came alive. We enjoyed the miniature train ride, which also included murderous gunmen firing away from the minature forest. This gave us a good jump. Next halloween, I would recommend adding Caboolture Historical Village on your list for a fun family fright night.

This village was worth the drive from Ipswich QLD. Go and see how your forebears lived and worked. Many of the buildings are original and some have been restored. Others have been reproduced, if taking little ones check the times of the train(I was disappointed)

One of the best places I’ve been too I needed way more than 90mins coming back for a second visit soon. This time starting in the morning so if I take all day brilliant. Well worth the trip and please take your time there to really enjoy the moment. So much to see and explore it’s like a whole town plus some more.
