a month agoI highly recommend to visit this place. There many tracks, different themes, lots of seats and parking around the garden. Very thoughtful of people who can’t walk much for whatever reason, they can park at many locations, please call the office for more information or look their map. I admire Japanese garden, but also walking in leafy, cool pathways was quite enjoyable. Don’t miss lookout , interesting view to city . There so much to see, Planetarium,Art room,Fern House, Amphitheatre. I would need all day if you like to explore all these. It worth to spend all day there.a month agoGreat experience. Lunch in the serene cafe followed by walk round the beautiful gardens – so much to see and all free. You could come back may times as there is so much to see. Loved the ferns and the Japanese garden.2 months agoMt.Coot-tha Botanical Gardens are SUPERB! There are SO many different themed gardens covering a huge variety of interesting plants, even a Bonsai House and a Japanese Garden. Water features galore, great picnic spots, easy walking with lots of benches to sit down and simply appreciate nature, and a cafe/restaurant for a casual meal and ice cold beer. One needs a full-day here to truly appreciate the beauty of everything. The walks are very well marked and sign-posted too. PLUS the Planetarium isvery well worth a visit, and take in a show while you’re there! Well so definitely be coming back. And again, and again.3 weeks agoA place with great potential, but unfortunately not well looked after i would say. ? Although it closes at 6, it’s important to note that all attractions inside and parking get closed at 4! After that, you may still park next to the planetarium and use the small gate next to the information centre to enter and to have a walk in the garen.4 weeks agoGot to the gardens late in the day so did not have time to explore all of the gardens. What we did see was very well maintained with a large variety of plants/trees/flowers. We will go back again to enjoy the entire gardens at a leisurely pace. A must see if you visit Brisbane.
