Nice and clean place. Has coin and card payment option. $5 a wash, about 30mins. Larger wash $8 or $10 Dryer $4 for 30mins

Please be careful leaving your clothes in the washing machine or dryer as i just prevented someone stealing anothers load that were still drying (i saw who the clothes belonged to and it wasnt them) I recommend you stay on the premises.

It’s been a while since I had to go there because our washing machine isn’t working. It was lovely and clean and they have new washing machines and it was good because I had 2 loads and plenty of free washing machines, so I got them both done in 45mins and home again. Thanks bubbles?

Bundaberg's regional area has a population of 70,921, and is a major centre of the Wide Bay–Burnett geographical region. The Bundaberg central business district is situated along the southern bank of the Burnett River, about 20 km (12 mi) from its mouth at Burnett Heads, and flows into the Coral Sea. The city is sited on a rich coastal plain, supporting one of the nation's most productive agricultural regions. The area of Bundaberg is the home of the Taribelang-Bunda, Goreng Goreng, Gurang, and Bailai peoples. Popular nicknames for Bundaberg include "Bundy", "Rum City", and "The 'Berg". The demonym of Bundaberg is Bundabergian. The district surveyor, John Thompson Charlton designed the city layout in 1868, which planned for uniform square blocks with wide main streets, and named it ‘Bundaberg’. An early influence on the development of Bundaberg came with the 1868 Land Act, which was a famous Queensland via media, that aimed to create a class of Australian yeoman.Large sugarcane plantations were established throughout the 1880s, with industries of sugar mills, refineries, and rum distilleries that delivered prosperity to Bundaberg. These plantations used South Sea Islanders as indentured labourers, many of whom were blackbirded, a practice considered of form of slavery. The trade was outlawed in 1904, with most South Sea Islanders deported by 1906.Major floods in 1942 and 1954 damaged the river, ending Bundaberg's role as a river port and led to a new port at the mouth of the Burnett river. In the post-war era, Bundaberg continued to grow with its wealth tied to its sugar industry. In 2013, Bundaberg experienced record flooding from Cyclone Oswald, which was the worst disaster in the city's history. The economy of Bundaberg is based primarily on agriculture, forestry, fishing and tourism, with a gross regional product at about $5.07 billion. Bundaberg also has a major distillery and brewery industry that exports to international markets. The city is served by the Port of Bundaberg and the Bundaberg Airport.
Bundaberg has a rich history and culture, along with its humid subtropical climate it is known for its weeping fig trees, dry stone walls, and historic plantations, including the Fairymead Plantation and the Sunnyside Sugar Plantation, the latter of which is the site of a mass grave. Other sites of South Sea Islander cultural significance include Sir Anthony's Rest atop the Bundaberg Hummock and the South Sea Islander Church. Bundaberg is also considered a paranormal hotspot, and is known for its ghost tours. Major cultural institutions include the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery. The city's culinary culture is highlighted by its annual 'Banquet on the Bridge', and an iconic rum and gin culture with Bundaberg Rum originating in the city.
Bundaberg is a popular tourism destination, the city's hinterland includes the historic towns of Childers and Gin Gin, Lake Monduran, Cania Gorge National Park and the Promisedland mountain bike trails. Bundaberg's coastal areas include Bargara and Mon Repos, Deepwater National Park, and the southernmost reaches of the Great Barrier Reef alongside the islands of Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot.

Hate to leave a bad review but I have to. Very unprofessional and rude owners & staff.

Booked in advance and stated late arrival (8/9pm). Issue with card on booking site, updated it and all was fine. Within an hour of arriving, received an email the booking was cancelled. Immediately called up and was told they tried to contact us multiple times (no calls, texts or emails) and the card couldn’t be charged so it was cancelled by the owners. (Card was fine to be used and had been used in various other businesses around Australia)

Asked if we could just pay on arrival and that we had just drove 5+ hours, was told she would have to ask the owners and call us back. No call back after 20 mins and we were nearly there so we called back. The woman proceeded to tell us again why the booking was cancelled?! Stated we asked could we pay on arrival and she said she had asked owners and they said no they gave our room away already (so without 30 mins of cancellation they had booked someone else in eventhough we called straight away).

Told her that we were not impressed and they were leaving us stranded (8pm at night). And she hung up on us. Called back and no answer. So not only have they left us stranded, they were were extremely rude to us. Also to note, checked the site after and still 2 rooms available to book for that night. Luckily we were able to book another motel nearby last min and the woman at reception waited for us to arrive(a lot of the motels here close the receptions at 8pm)

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE unless you’re prepared to be left stranded and rearrange your plans.

Cannot comment on rooms as we did not stay there.

Charm City Motel is an older motel that obviously the owner/ manager takes enormous pride in.

Beautiful comfortable beds, fabulous location, on main road, but not on a traffic light intersection, therefore no noisy breaking during the night – big bonus for us.

Very clean and tidy, undercover parking. It’s winter, so didn’t try out the pool area.

Look forward to staying again. Exceptional value for money.

      Thanks Rick, great customer service.

This is a tiny slice of native animals and birds and a few others from South America. It’s a free zoo, so it’s good for a quick visit. The staff seem to be very attentive.

Beautiful little zoo. It is free, clean, and well put together. I got the chance to pet one of their dingo rescues that they happened to have out for a walk. Found a couple critters here that we didn’t see anywhere else. It is in a great location attached to the park right on the river. Definitely worth checking out.

Incredible experience thanks to the turtles, Rangers and friendly volunteers.

We were lucky to see a loggerhead turtle lay eggs, after abandoning its first nesting attempt and then restarting. Then we were able to watch another turtle emerge from the water right next to our group.

Our group (2) left the building to see the turtle at 840pm and returned at about 1030pm – a long night for our young kids but well worth it.

Suggestion: read through all of the Mon Repos information on the Queensland Parks & Wildlife service website, as the actual booking site only provides limited information

Turtle nesting seasons start in Nov but I went too early so I have no luck to witness the moment.

The staff is very kind to explain and tell me a lot of stuff about turtles and I learnt a lot from her that day. They sure are very helpful and informative.

You will need to buy a ticket if you want to visit the museum. Else you can walk around or to the beach.

But no visitors are allowed in the night during hatching seasons as the torch light will scare the turtle away. And you are required to book the tour if you want to watch the turtle laying the eggs.

An unforgettable experience for the family. Lots of activities for young children and the ranger activity at 8:30 PM was fantastic. Staff were all very informative. But it was a late night for the young children, with the turtle not arriving until around 9:00 PM and we didn’t get back till after 11:30 PM. We were fortunate enough to see a Loggerhead turtle laying her eggs and it was amazing. Just be mindful of the potential late night for young children and try and get them to go to the toilet before heading out onto the beach. Even after being called, there is a lot of pauses so you definitely have time to tell the ranger and they won’t lose any time waiting for you. The last thing you want is to be out there and have to come back!

Beautiful centre with equally beautiful surroundings. The turtle centre joins onto the beautiful beach which is a great addition to visit after visiting the centre. It is great to be involved in the conservation of these magnificent turtles in this area of ecotourism.

Bundaberg is a city in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, Australia, and is the tenth largest city in the state.

Dave Reed took over marketing and selling my investment property after the first contract fell thru with another agent. Dave’s approach was proffessional and staight up and down. He kept me informed about what was going on all through the process. He achieved my asking price and settlement went through without a hitch. All in all, I would describe the experience working with Dave as “good old fashined service”. I am very happy to recommend Dave to anyone selling a property.

I have used First National Real Estate Bundaberg both to manage my rental property for 10+ years and also to sell my property.

I found their rental department to be professional and easy to work with. They found good quality tenants over the years so my place was always being looked after. Any issues were addressed quickly and thus the property was well maintained.

I recently so my property using Dave as my selling agent. We were able to work through a marketing strategy and my house was under offer with a great offer on the first day. Though ultimately this contract failed due to finance, Dave was able to present a range of offers from various buyers and we secured another buyer shortly afterwards. I am thrilled with the final result.

Dealing with this real estate agency was amazing. They were so quick to help and support me. Their communication was so clear and helpful. Dealing with Christine Banks was an absolute pleasure, her knowledge of the Bundaberg area was a god send. It was great to purchase a home of an amazing agent, it felt more like dealing with a friend. The office staff were friendly, helpful and so pleasant to deal with. When I purchase my next home it will definitely be with First National Real Estate McColms.

I would highly recommend First national Bundy to anyone wishing to buy or sell property. I emailed all the real estates in town, they were the first to respond, there were no pressures, no red tape and they had it sold within the week, negotiating and bargaining the highest price. I did not have to leave my house to sign anything. It was a digital sale. They asked for $1000 up front to advertise the sale of the block of land and they refunded $972 of it, which means they are honest and which I did not expect from any real estate. One good turn deserves another, and which is why I wrote this. Highly recommended. Ask for Dianne…

Poor maintained equipment. Concept 2 rowers never ran smoothly. I attended the gym for 5 months, not once after my 1st meeting with a trainer as part of the joining fee did anyone check in to see how I was going or need extra support. Members are poor at putting weights away after use. Weights left laying all over the gym. Noticed several members never wipe equipment down after use. Every gym over 20 + years I have attended it is common practice to wipe gear down after use. When I emailed to end my contract I got a phone call from Nathen the gym manager, i though he would be wanting to know way I was leaving the gym. Instead he just wanted to finalise my final payment before he went home at 7.00pm. Just a chain gym that wants to take your money and offer very little support.

Gym environment is standard but clean and tidy. The bathroom and showers are were they lack. For someone who frequently uses the showers at the gym it looks like they are never cleaned.

Staff are welcoming, helpful and encouraging, the gym has a great atmosphere, plus the group sessions and comps bring out a strong camaraderie of members involved. All in all a great gym facility and venue for fitness events located conveniently in the heart of Bundaberg.

Had been a member for several years, but am now trying to be strong armed into paying for legal fees and other stuff for an extra month after I notified them I wasn’t going to continue membership. Straight up asked how my partner was going at worlds and I was like great. Im moving their next month so I won’t be continuing membership. And he reckons I didn’t say anything to him.
