      It was a nice experience. We only got fish and chips but it is a good, quiet atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating options. We liked that we were able to serve our own sauces instead of paying for portions that aren’t near enough for the food. The portions were generous and satisfying. I was impressed with the crumbing on the fish and calamari. Not many soft drinks options

      Wonderful place to have fish and chips while enjoying the amazing view. Long weekend, wasn’t very crowded, food came quickly, drinks were nice. The parking is $20 dollars but if you spend in food it gets validated. The new renovation are worth it it looks amazing

      Great food at a brilliant location with views and fresh lake breezes. The only problem with being so good is the wait times, which go up to an hour or more, so plenty of time to hit the well-stocked bar for a few return visits. Bring some friends you like to pass the time, you’ll eventually get your fill of some very nice food!

      ‘beautiful place with nice view but bad food’

      This was the second time I tried fish and chips. We had a take away for the first time and it was very disappointing as the fish and chips were soggy. So this time, four of us had dining in. Soon we ordered the fish and chips, it took probably 2 mins to come out. And we had a bite straight away, then it was soggy and not really hot. I am 1000% certain food was already made and it was extremely disappointing.

      frozen Rubbish! We booked the cabana for my fathers lunch birthday today (5-1-24) we were extremely disappointed with the food! The seafood platter was not edible, the Balmain Bug & crab did not look nice & tasted like frozen rubbish. The grilled prawns were disgusting, the pumpkin salad was tasteless! The only thing that was nice was the pizza (the prawns were disgusting on the pizza) & the crumbed Dory and chips, which was bought to our table an hour after the rest of the food, after asking for it 3 times. Over $300 worth of food served in cardboard at a yacht club is disgraceful! When we asked for plates to share the platters we were told they don’t have plates, so we ripped the lids off the served food and used as plates, like we were having takeaway in a park! I mentioned the disappointment to 2 staff members, with no response, so I went in to see the manager who said he would talk to the chef and come back to see me. We sat there for another 40 minutes waiting for him to come back to discuss the disappointment but with no reply! We had 2 separate orders totaling over $300, what a disgrace! We arrived before it got busy, and as a chef of 20 years I understand pressure in the kitchen, but it’s a simple menu! Food and customer service I wouldn’t even give 1 star! (The Barista was lovely and made good coffee) Extremely disappointed that we got no reply from the supervisor, I will never visit again and never recommend Snapper on the Lake. Also adding the greasy handprints on the bathroom doors, and dirty floors.

      Every other service station, cafe, restuarant and business in Braddon are able to keep their store front clean and respectable except for 7-Eleven Braddon. There is constantly deplorable amounts of used coffee cups, food packaging, drink bottles, decomposing food and cigarette butts littered around the centre. It is disgraceful and when compared to the cleanliness of McDonald’s across the road, it demonstrates how little management care.

      I went to 7/11 Braddon to get 4 dozens original doughnut. I normally had to collect the doughnuts myself, but this time, a gentleman works in that store, his name is Ahmed, did it for me collecting from 8-10 different boxes to make my 4 dozens originals. A very gentle, polite and helpful person, very rare to find in Canberra stores. So happy with his service.

      After reading all the awesome reviews, I decided to give it a go because I can’t get a spot for my usual hairdresser in other salon. After the hair cut, I literally want to cry! I’ve been comunicating through out the whole process but the hairdresser doesn’t seem to listen but insists that he is right, what I request is wrong. I just wish my hair could grow faster and go back to my usual hairdresser to fix up. I hate give bad reviews, but I want to let other people know my feeling.

      Jina and Joy are absolutely amazing and very talented! I have got my hair done by Jina over the years and I was never disappointed.

      Jina is absolutely fantastic with a straightening perm, various hair treatments, colouring, including tricky ones like Balayage or Ombre, and amazing hair cut!

      As I started to have so much gray hair, Jina dyed my hair in a way which not only covers the gray hair, but also to blend in the newly growing gray hair! (See photo with a short hair.)

      She will also tell you honestly and directly if your hair is too damaged for perm or colour so that you won’t waste your money. The staff is well trained, professional and super nice too.

      The best Canberra hair salon by far and I highly recommend it!

      Highly recommend you see Joey if you have really thick or coarse and wavy hair. I do and Joey knows how to cut it so it looks great, takes the weight out and make it easy for me to manage. His prices are fair also.

      Absolutely worst service beyond belief… staff at the print shop are rude, slow and not understanding. We have complained to the manager after the terrible service. The photos we print were sitting in front of us in the printer but the staff refused to hand it to us knowing we are in rush to go to airport… not recommended..

      1. They never answer their phone. 2. They don’t really tend to customers that well. 3. I recently ordered a click collect, went in to the store, they told me to go out to the side and rig buzzer to pick up order. But no one answered after 10min of trying I had to leave as I have 7 kids in the car. I did also try calling to get service out the back. But no answer. Then got a text asking how my click and collect went. DC

      Massive thanks to Callum in the print shop who quickly and happily took on manipulating a complex document for printing when I reached my technological limit. 5 minutes in his day but made a huge difference in mine.

      Extremely dissatisfied with the service and utterly dubious return policy. I was explicitly assured, at the time of purchasing a substantial item, about their purportedly effortless two-year policy for addressing any problems. However, this has proven to be nothing but a fallacy, as it appears that any fault or damage is automatically blamed on the customer.

      I strongly advise conducting thorough research on alternative stores prior to making any purchases, unless it involves stationary.

      didnt stand up to my expectation. we ordered masala dosa, chicken tikka and ras malai and non of them were really up to par. ras malai was really small and crumbly. not worth the price you pay, chicken tikka portion was wayyy too less and the aaloo masala in tje masala dosa didnt have that appealing taste. the ambience was good and the staffs were friendly tho. wouldnt recommend. 6/10

      Schezwan chicken 65 rice -2/5 – I would not recommend this as I found it soggy and didn’t like that it was served with slice of lemon and raw onions and had curry leaves and boiled egg – This is first time I’ve seen curry leaves in an Indo – chinese dish! — My recommendation would be instead go for their Biryani if you don’t want to surprised / disappointed ☹️

      I went on dinner with my family and little one 3 years old. I requested for chips and nuggets from kids menu (picture attached). Staff informed me that they haven’t nuggets and chips. My little one was crying and i bring from KFC. The manager called me on her desk and was very rude to bring the food. I request her that my son is 3 years old and you don’t have the food which I requested so that’s why I bring from outside. She explained to me about Australia laws. I never see a law in Australia which stops the kids to eat.

      DON’T Go, it will make you day bad because they have big attitude. I was the regular customer for them from last 3 years. I feel bad on myself why I went on their restaurant.

      I was apprehensive going to waves 1st time. But the lady at the entrance made it super easy, helped me to understand why I should join & how it would help me with a monthly cleaning habit.       In the last month or so Waves Carwash at Phillip have more or less halved the time value per dollar spent on their self-serve car wash. I was told by a friend that this was the case and had to see it for myself.

      $10 for 5 minutes at on self-serve car wash machine is frankly extortionate. I may as well go somewhere else and have my car professionally cared for.
