      I am very grateful that the chemist is open late and generally the staff are helpful. However I am not sure that they are properly trained in customer service or maybe they are just over worked. I have had 2 examples recently- 1. I was about to go in to a doctors appointment and rang them to see if they had an up to date prescription for my medication. They said they had and I asked them to fill it. After my appointment I went to pick up my medication and the chemist said that the date on my prescription had expired. This was intensely irritating as I had to pay my doctor to get another prescription when I could have got one and the time of my appointment.

      2. I rang them and asked to fill in my prescription. They said it was still valid and they would fill it in. The next day I went in and they said that there was a shortage of supply of the medication I had sought and they couldn’t fill the prescription. Why couldn’t they check this and tell me on the phone or ring me back once the prescription was being filled by the chemist? On both occasions they wasted my time and on the first occasion they cost me money.

      I have to take medication for the rest of my life and this is the pharmacy I choose to make it up for me every time. They go out of their way to compound quickly and efficiently.       Fantastic service! The team at Terry White Chemmart Ainslie were able to help us on a Sunday with compounding some medication for our 7 month old baby. We phoned on the Sunday morning and collected the medication that afternoon. Would highly recommend!

      Terry White is a large national corporation with stores all over Australia but you’d never know it when you visit the Terry White Chemist in Ainslie. They put an emphasis on friendly service and accommodating the needs of their customers. I knew it was above the ordinary when one day I walked into the store with a script and the chemist behind the counter, who I’d spoken to before but never really interacted with in any personal sense, used my name when saying hello as I approached the counter. That personal friendliness was quite impressive and made an positive impact. One improvement they could make is getting some kind of range extender because there is no phone signal inside the store and it makes bringing up scripts on your phone difficult. To their credit they are aware of the problem and looking for a suitable solution. A++

      I was looking at sunscreens at this shop earlier today while waiting for a friend when one of the kind pharmacists gave me some free samples of SPF50+ sunscreens even though I did not end up buying anything.       Ainslie Pharmacy I cannot recommend them enough, they provide the best Professional service to the Community.

      Colette and her Staff are amazing in customer service, and excellent at Terry White Chemmart. You receive a wonderful welcome from all the Staff. Colette Needham is the owner of the Chemist at Ainslie over 47 years providing Professional services to the Community.

      Professional Service that they offer is, Diabetes Australia NDSS outlet, Methadone/Buprenorphine Treatment, Return of Unwanted Medicines ?, Compounding services, Sleep Apnea, Pharmacist Consultation. Ask the Professional Chemist for more information and what else they have to offer.

      Over 40 years I and my Family shop in the Chemist and one family worked there years ago. Seen the names changed many times from Bluebell Pharmacy Ainslie to Ainslie Pharmasave Compounding to now, new name Terry White Chemmart ?.

      Ten years ago ?, they moved to the new premises at end of the shops, for more room for their goods in Pharmacy. They were next to IGA, their is now is The Ainslie Cellars is, up to 2012.

      Terry White Chemmart is now the shop under the Units , that was a Petrol station ⛽️ until 1990s, come down, and rebuild as ten Units and two shops front ?.

      Some really cool things here, vintage toys, nice artworks, loads of tea sets, beautiful books.

      Customer service is quite poor however. Two girls were on the shift today, right after I walked in one girl asked the other a question to which the second girl (she has very short, strawberry-blonde hair) answered very loudly giving very intimate details of her life and relationship with her mother. It was so embarrassing to listen too, and there was no escape! She was so loud I could hear her just as clearly on the other side of the shop.

      Once I picked what I wanted to buy I returned to the counter. She walked in front of me, blocking my path but not acknowledging me like a normal person would in a small space, especially if they were working in said small space, not even eye contact. Once I finally got to the counter both girls were there, I tried to establish eye contact with strawberry-blonde girl because she was standing right in front of me but she ignored me again and had a very sullen look on her face. I actually wasn’t even sure if she worked there by that point because she was so rude, but another customer asked her a question so that confirmed she did. Very unwelcoming. The second was very helpful, smiled, acknowledged me, wrapped the item and said goodbye.

      It was a very bizarre and uncomfortable experience. I was thinking of bringing my husband back there but I don’t think I will, it was just so awkward and I really don’t want to repeat it.

      Wonderful stock – maybe it’s the best shop in canberra

      Prices are even pretty good : their bargain baskets out at the front contain loads of interesting miscellanea, & even generally, their weird & wonderful treasures are charged +/- on par with regular op-shops’ ‘scale of fees.’

      I used to love coming to this store and was willing to travel from Tuggeranong regularly but since new management a while back took over, prices are through the roof. Store used to have weekly specials that you would be able to get bulk clothing at a reasonable prices and for a large family that’s exactly what we needed to do regularly for our growing family. Prices are so high now that a pair of Kmart shoes/clothing/items are priced only a few dollars under buying them new from store and honestly if I was paying that much I would buy new instead. Unfortunately it is not worth my time to visit the store anymore unless we are in the area and even then I leave with maybe 1 or 2 items instead of buying more like we used to.Second hand stuff at average quality, the pricing is far from reasonable. Spending $40-60 on coats or jackets in winter from second hand goods is completely pointless when I can spend the same buying new and have the item in better condition and at times quality. I think this price increase and the change of structure to the sales processes was a huge mistake, families who used to rely on this store in hard times now will feel more pressure than ever before.

      Me and my friend literally just walked out of this shop 5mins ago. We were trying to sell an 18ct white gold necklace with 0.75ct marquise diamond cut pendant worth $1999 valuated by Diamond Boutique with certification and this shop quoted us $100 for it. I’m not sure if this Josh guy knows what he’s doing or he took us for a dumb person trying to trick us as we were not dressed properly. Be careful of this place.

      I have been using Rocket Remit for some time, and on a very regular basis. Day by day, the service has become eratic. Looks like complacency is creeping in. There seem to be issues, excuses and irregularities. In a business like this, consistency is of paramount importance.

      After sending money to be loaded, it takes minutes usually, as of late, they have explained that it takes 24hrs to load on weekdays.

      Anyway, I truly thought that this service platform was different from the others. My last provider ran off with a substantial amount of money. Gotta find a new provider.

      In the last month or so Waves Carwash at Phillip have more or less halved the time value per dollar spent on their self-serve car wash. I was told by a friend that this was the case and had to see it for myself.

      $10 for 5 minutes at on self-serve car wash machine is frankly extortionate. I may as well go somewhere else and have my car professionally cared for.

      Prices have doubled, and my car was still dirty after using the self service bay due to the filthy brush and rinse water. Certainly wasn’t going to pay all over again to wash the vehicle in a different bay. Contacted the company and they don’t see this as a problem at all, so I’ll certainly not use their business anymore.

      Edit: their response didn’t clean my car properly. Good luck to anyone choosing this business, they’ll take you money and don’t care beyond that.

      This happened to my car because I chose to use the Waves carwash brand. Don’t let this happen to you. I’m now $900 out of pocket and without my car for two weeks. Waves will not even consider helping with the cost I incurred.

      Always love getting my car washed at Phillip. Today, I enjoy an early Sunday wash, wearing my pj’s. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. I could not recommend these guys more highly.

      Paid $230 on 28/7/23 to get an interior detail, when I picked up the car the airbag lights went straight on, I spoke to the man who did the clean and he denied any responsibility. My mechanic said water had gotten in through somewhere and now I’ll have to take it to get fixed. There were areas of my car that hadn’t been cleaned, will not be going back there.

      The big problem is that they are cleaning cars in dark underground carpark. They can’t see all the missed spots, streaks because it’s too dark. Your car looks great in the dark but the moment your in full sun and it become obvious how much they miss.

      The Full Detail service priced at $320 left much to be desired. Disappointed to find unsightly polish marks scattered across the car’s surface, and the interior suffered from careless overspray that was inadequately addressed. The windows, unfortunately, were left marred by frustrating streaks, and even the exterior trims seemed neglected despite being part of the promised package. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this service; one might achieve superior results by personally attending to the vehicle at a public car wash. Oh, and clay bar? I don’t think they even know what a clay bar is.
