Absolutely disappointing. I ordered the Troppo Box, all I received was a mangled piece of roast chicken & a 7Up (see photo). The chips, gravy, pineapple fritters & Fanta were all missing. I also paid for delivery. Needless to say I feel completely ripped off ? Red Rooster, you’ve just lost yourself a customer!

Absolutely horrible, ordered sweet and sour chicken wings and got mixed grease drenched God knows what. And a roll that tasted like plastic done in a microwave. WON’T BE BACK.

I don’t write reviews often but this was the worst food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a Rooster Roll Box for lunch, it firstly cost way too much to even get delivery ($9 delivery fee, wouldn’t even consider if not for discounts), The chips were so soggy and salty might as well have been grown on a seaweed farm. The wings were alright but cold and falling apart. The actual Rooster Roll was just a soggy bun with unseasoned chicken, none of the advertised herbs or mayo was to be found anywhere near the chicken, was just bland, boiled chicken, absolute bottom of the barrel garbage. Do not buy from here unless you like bland unseasoned chicken.

I visited this Red Rooster last week Thursday afternoon and tried to place my order at the drive-thru speaker. The speaker itself is very quiet and I was told to come to the drive-thru window. It was extremely difficult to understand the staff, and I had a lengthy wait in the drive-thru behind 3 cars. My order was eventually taken at the window. While the food itself was fresh, the store hasn’t done anything to fix this issue for a long time. I would give a higher rating if my order was taken at the drive-thru speaker and not at the window.

Today, I visited Red Rooster Wanniassa on January 16, 2023, around 12 pm. The service was excellent, and the employee confirmed my large order, ensuring everything was correct in the drive-thru. The only issue was that it was challenging to hear the order at the speaker due to its low volume. However, the food was fresh and well-prepared. This restaurant is better than Maccas and KFC, as they always forget items in my order. Their Hot Honey fried chicken is a must-try!

I would give 5 stars if they fixed the drive thru speaker.

The word “insulted” doesn’t even come close to how I’m feeling. No word can describe the magnitude of my rage. After waiting half an eternity for service at the counter. I was approached by a rude clearly inexperienced staff member. I don’t even know if she could read as she took literal minutes to input my order. Two simple items. One Mango Magic. One Super Fruit. Upon waiting another age for the drinks to be finished. My friend and I left. Soon only to discover that the supposed “Superfruit” was a made from celery, carrots, warm water and spite. Last time I checked the dictionary. Spite wasn’t a piece of fruit.

I suspect that the employees were playing from sort of sick joke. The friend I was with had recently stopped dating the manager of that small stand of hate in the centre of Belconnen. So as a sick joke they changed his drink to from a delicious treat to a original cup of hate. Was it not enough the manager cheated on him? Now he has to deal with constant abuse from boost employees.

From the wait times, to service, to actual product. This miserable Belconnen boost is an insult to the core ideals of the jucing World.

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT), known as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) until 1938, is a federal territory of Australia. Canberra, the capital city of Australia, is situated within the territory. It is located in southeastern Australian mainland as an enclave completely within the state of New South Wales. Founded after Federation as the seat of government for the new nation, the territory hosts the headquarters of all important institutions of the Australian Government.
On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Section 125 of the new Australian Constitution provided that land, situated in New South Wales and at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney, would be ceded to the new federal government. Following discussion and exploration of various areas within New South Wales, the Seat of Government Act 1908 was passed in 1908 which specified a capital in the Yass-Canberra region. The territory was transferred to the federal government by New South Wales in 1911, two years prior to the capital city being founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913.
While the overwhelming majority of the population reside in the city of Canberra in the ACT's north-east, the territory also includes some towns such as Williamsdale, Oaks Estate, Uriarra, Tharwa and Hall. The ACT also includes the Namadgi National Park, which comprises the majority of land area of the territory. Despite a common misconception, the Jervis Bay Territory is not part of the ACT, although the laws of the Australian Capital Territory apply as if Jervis Bay did form part of the ACT. The territory has a relatively dry, continental climate, experiencing warm to hot summers and cool to cold winters.
The Australian Capital Territory is home to many important institutions of the federal government, national monuments and museums. These include the Parliament of Australia, the High Court of Australia, the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Australian War Memorial. It also hosts the majority of foreign embassies in Australia, as well as regional headquarters of many international organisations, not-for-profit groups, lobbying groups and professional associations. Several major universities also have campuses in the ACT, including the Australian National University, the University of Canberra, the University of New South Wales, Charles Sturt University and the Australian Catholic University.
A locally elected legislative assembly has governed the territory since 1988. However, the Commonwealth maintains authority over the territory and may overturn local laws. It still maintains control over the area known as the Parliamentary Triangle through the National Capital Authority. Residents of the territory elect three members of the House of Representatives and two senators.
With 453,324 residents, the Australian Capital Territory is the second smallest mainland state or territory by population. At the 2016 census, the median weekly income for people in the territory aged over 15 was $998, significantly higher than the national average of $662. The average level of degree qualification in the ACT is also higher than the national average. Within the ACT, 37.1% of the population hold a bachelor's degree level or above education compared to the national figure of 20%.

Gorman House in Braddon, Australian Capital Territory is an Art Deco landmark house located in inner Canberra. It operated as a hostel from 1924 until 1972 and has subsequently become a popular centre for theatre and the creative arts in fields such as photography, dance, acting and music. It is listed on the National Heritage Register which describes it as "a fine and externally intact example of John Smith Murdoch's garden pavilion style, which makes a creditable contribution to the townscape." The garden pavilion style is characterized by low buildings, covered paths and open courtyards.
When it was constructed in 1924 the hostel was known as “Hostel No. 3” and in early 1925 was renamed the “Hotel Ainslie” and then in 1927 Gorman House. It was to provide accommodation for public servants and initially accepted both men and women. The first residents had moved in by 1925. The original structure consisted of single story pavilions with the dining room as the central focus but this accommodation was found to be insufficient so in 1928 two double story buildings were added at the western and eastern ends which enclosed the inner courtyards. It was mainly used to provide accommodation for young women but if demand fell men were also allowed to become guests. However if there was an increase in female clients the men were asked to leave.

Canberra ( KAN-bər-ə) is the capital city of Australia. Founded following the federation of the colonies of Australia as the seat of government for the new nation, it is Australia's largest inland city and the eighth-largest Australian city overall. The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory at the northern tip of the Australian Alps, the country's highest mountain range. As of June 2022, Canberra's estimated population was 456,692.The area chosen for the capital had been inhabited by Aboriginal Australians for up to 21,000 years, by groups including the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri. European settlement commenced in the first half of the 19th century, as evidenced by surviving landmarks such as St John's Anglican Church and Blundells Cottage. On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Following a long dispute over whether Sydney or Melbourne should be the national capital, a compromise was reached: the new capital would be built in New South Wales, so long as it was at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney. The capital city was founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913. A plan by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected after an international design contest, and construction commenced in 1913. Unusual among Australian cities, it is an entirely planned city. The Griffins' plan featured geometric motifs and was centred on axes aligned with significant topographical landmarks such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie, Capital Hill and City Hill. Canberra's mountainous location makes it the only mainland Australian city where snow-capped mountains can be seen in winter; although snow in the city itself is uncommon.
As the seat of the Government of Australia, Canberra is home to many important institutions of the federal government, national monuments and museums. This includes Parliament House, Government House, the High Court building and the headquarters of numerous government agencies. It is the location of many social and cultural institutions of national significance such as the Australian War Memorial, the Australian National University, the Royal Australian Mint, the Australian Institute of Sport, the National Gallery, the National Museum and the National Library. The city is home to many important institutions of the Australian Defence Force including the Royal Military College Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy. It hosts all foreign embassies in Australia as well as regional headquarters of many international organisations, not-for-profit groups, lobbying groups and professional associations.
Canberra has been ranked among the world's best cities to live in and visit. Although the Commonwealth Government remains the largest single employer in Canberra, it is no longer the majority employer. Other major industries have developed in the city, including in health care, professional services, education and training, retail, accommodation and food, and construction. Compared to the national averages, the unemployment rate is lower and the average income higher; tertiary education levels are higher, while the population is younger. At the 2016 Census, 32% of Canberra's inhabitants were reported as having been born overseas.Canberra's design is influenced by the garden city movement and incorporates significant areas of natural vegetation. Its design can be viewed from its highest point at the Telstra Tower and the summit of Mount Ainslie. Other notable features include the National Arboretum, born out of the 2003 Canberra bushfires, and Lake Burley Griffin, named for Walter Burley Griffin. Highlights in the annual calendar of cultural events include Floriade, the largest flower festival in the Southern Hemisphere, the Enlighten Festival, Skyfire, the National Multicultural Festival and Summernats. Canberra's main sporting venues are Canberra Stadium and Manuka Oval. The city is served with domestic and international flights at Canberra Airport, while interstate train and coach services depart from Canberra railway station and the Jolimont Centre respectively. City Interchange is the main hub of Canberra's bus and light rail transport network.

Well this was a lovely surprise, Old Parliament House is full of history but also wonderful exhibitions related to Aust politics and history, but done in a superbly engaging, interesting and interactive way.

Make sure you eave plenty of time, we spent over 3 hrs at Old Parliament House and could have spent more.

Something for everyone, there were Discovery Trails, Treasure Hunts and other games to play as you weave your way through this beautiful building. We went with our 7yr old and he loved it.

The volunteers who were available and ready to chat and share snippets of info and answer questions were fabulous.

Thanks for making our visit awesome. And it’s free…

Beautiful Botanic Gardens within few kilometres from Canberra city centre.

Bus tour was good which cost us $8 per person for adult and if you have kids $5 per kid. Old lady driver had vast knowledge of flora and fauna of botanic gardens. This garden has all the plants and trees available around the Australia.

Little dense rain forest and red botanic garden are the highlight of this garden.

Lots of kids activities during the school holidays.

Wonder place visit, great walking trails to explore a big range of flowing plants & trees…

The rainforest area is a beautiful and cool area to walk through in summer. Just watch your footing with snakes! The bird life is amazing!

The desert area is the red centre piece of Botanical Gardens…

The Cafe at the entrance is a great place to grad a drink or a feed if you had forgotten to pick them in…

Also a great spot to take the kids and have a picnic and relax with good views…

They have lots of parking which is about 4 dollars an hour. Their is a visitor centre. A large Cafe. They have a rainforest area. A large lawn, a walk to the summit, a rock garden, lots of local animals such as birds and lizards.

Not really good for kids, no parks or interactive things to do. Most of it is shaded. Currently a lot of it is under construction.

Would recommend for the view, Cafe and or picnic.

Great collection of both fish but particularly accessories and other paraphernalia related to having fish as pets. Definitely recommend this place

Great Range, incredibly knowledgeable staff. Down for a chat even though I kept them past closing a couple minutes with my indecision and nerdy chemical talk (sorry i opened that container btw). A must visit if in Canberra or surrounding area, I know I will be back soon.

I ran the trail to the peak, while on a business trip to Canberra. It was great! I’ve seen some kangaroos and the view from the top of the mountain was amazing! Great trail run.

Pretty wild and rough, which is good for wildlife lovers. I found loads of bird species, some kangaroo and other plenty of others that I could hear but just didn’t have enough time to stop and find.

The trails are not clearly marked, so you’ll have to use landmarks to remember which way you came in.

The Mount Taylor Nature Reserve is beautiful, with panoramic views of Woden Valley to the north, the Tuggeranong Valley to the south and the Brindabella Range to the west (I’m sure there’s something to the east too).

Named after James Taylor – not the guy who sings ‘Fire and Rain’, but a squatter, who with his partner Robert Johnson established a sheep run on the Molonglo River in the early 1800s (thanks to Dave’s ACT blog for this info)

There are several ways to get to the top, and as you make your way up, don’t forget to pause to catch your breath (necessary in parts) and perhaps catch sight of some kangaroos, and a variety of birds and reptiles.

Your heart will certainly be pumping by the time you reach the top. However, if you are looking for a little more, someone has gaffa taped a piece of wood on the cross beam to make chin-ups more comfortable.

Finally, don’t forget to bring water. There is a bowl for the dogs, but not for the humans. Although I’ve lobbied for a cafe/ice-cream shop at the top for years, my calls have gone unanswered.

Mount Taylor is one of the famous landmark of Canberra. The walking trail consists of multiple routes with steep and rocky path. You can walk up-to the hill with Kangaroos on your side.

From the top, you can see beautiful South Canberra.
