      This was my first time at the Kingston foreshore and it was a nice little Sunday market. There are two levels where the bottom level has different food stalls from Jordanian, Ethiopian, Korean and Filipino cuisine to bagels, fresh produce, BBQ rubs and cannolis. The top level has craft’s and clothing stalls. It’s a good little stop to break up your Sunday.

      A great place to grab a bite. Bakery favourites are sold out early. Many diverse food options. Card payment option is available at most food vendors.

      The market is clean and well organised. Plenty of carpark via Eastlake Parade entrance.

      The market opens from 9.30 to 2.30 but sometimes some of the stalls have late closings (the good food has probably run out). I recommend you to try the Jordanian and Laotian cuisine, they are great! The fudge sold here also tastes amazing. Keep in mind that there’s a glasswork museum next to the market which is worth visiting.

      One of the best reviewed AF in aus for a reason. Always great to train here on work trips, has loads of space, amenities, always stocked pre workouts. Very down to earth management style. You can tell they take good care of this gym and have pride in it. I’ve just watched one of the management do their own work out, set up a class, spot vacuum the gym and is now restocking the vending machine. Have not seen a more proactive management style anywhere else on this level. Very impressive. A definite stand out in Aus when it comes to the AF name for sure.

      I rate it 5 stars as the best price and the most group classes among many Anytimes in Canberra. The only downside would be the bathrooms get too busy during the peak hours. It’s got at least 3 classes from Mo-Thur to cater to various groups of people. Clean facilities.

      By far, the best Anytime franchise in Canberra. Everything here is top notch: the staff, the cleanliness, and more importantly the culture. I rotate around multiple Anytime franchise gyms, but the City gym is like having a special birthday cake flavour of your Myprotein powder: it’s undeniably amazing …. Anyways, enough of me typing here whilst I’m hogging the squat rack!

      PS: Would love to see a hack squat machine! That’s my only suggestion!

    The National Library of Australia (NLA), formerly the Commonwealth National Library and Commonwealth Parliament Library, is the largest reference library in Australia, responsible under the terms of the National Library Act 1960 for "maintaining and developing a national collection of library material, including a comprehensive collection of library material relating to Australia and the Australian people", thus functioning as a national library. It is located in Parkes, Canberra, ACT. Created in 1960 by the National Library Act, by the end of June 2019 its collection contained 7,717,579 items, with its manuscript material occupying 17,950 metres (58,890 ft) of shelf space. The NLA also hosts and manages the renowned Trove cultural heritage discovery service, which includes access to the Australian Web Archive and National edeposit (NED), a large collection of digitised newspapers, official documents, manuscripts and images, as well as born-digital material.

      Drove all the way to Belconnen Pharmacy after working all day. I tried getting there on time, as there Was traffic, was desperate to get a rapid test as I was feeling unwell. With bad luck I got there rushing at 5:31 exactly. Everyone was still inside. A lady walked past the glass door and said we are closed! And I said please I need a rapid test, desperately and she said we have plenty come back tomorrow! What is it to open the door and hand it over?!? Very unreasonable, it’s not like we were that late to closing time! And it’s a necessity! Very inconsiderate!

      I am giving this one star to the staff who served me yesterday 8 Sept 2023. I was using the computer and was unable to print a document from my email account. On the screen, it show unable to print due to it being blocked, I am a senior and had a knee injury recently. As I was just sitting close to the counter, I asked if she could help me. She demanded that I need to go stand in front of her at the counter to ask her again. I did as asked, she came over and just tell me it was blocked. Her attitude was very condescending and not helpful. Incidentally, I am an asian and do not wish to speculate if that was the reason.

Noted a person (most probably a worker at Westfield) was washing his body, including legs in the sink at a parents room on a Saturday around 8-9 pm.       for some reason they are card only which was a bit inconvenient. the popcorn was pretty good although slightly overpriced. i would recommend getting to the cinema about ten minutes after the actual start time as this means there won’t be any staff stopping you from bringing in your own snacks and you also won’t have to sit through as much ads. i got there ten minutes late, bought popcorn, went to the bathroom and still had ten minutes more of ads so being late isn’t a worry. the seats don’t recline and are a bit stiff however it’s nothing too bad. the bathrooms are clean and the cinemas are nice although a bit smaller than i expected. overall pretty good

      I just moved back to the area. Was excited to see a movie today. After ordering popcorn and selecting a ticket, they refused to take my cash. I would have seen two movies a week. They legit have lost a customer. It’s a no from me. I might give it a go again if they take cash again one day. I’m sorry I can’t support a business that doesn’t take cash. I’m a filmmaker, so I will insist my distribution in the future leaves Dendy away from all future films. Gone to the dogs. Guess you don’t want money.

      Its a good movie theatre but you don’t get the recliners like you do at Hoyts. If you want recliners you have to pay $41 for the premium lounge, which doesn’t include anything but a recliner seat. The menu looks nice but it’s also a massive rip off. The prices for the premium lounge for the ticket and menu is ridiculous.

    Canberra ( KAN-bər-ə) is the capital city of Australia. Founded following the federation of the colonies of Australia as the seat of government for the new nation, it is Australia's largest inland city and the eighth-largest Australian city overall. The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory at the northern tip of the Australian Alps, the country's highest mountain range. European settlement commenced in the first half of the 19th century, as evidenced by surviving landmarks such as St John's Anglican Church and Blundells Cottage. On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Following a long dispute over whether Sydney or Melbourne should be the national capital, a compromise was reached: the new capital would be built in New South Wales, so long as it was at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney. The capital city was founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913. A plan by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected after an international design contest, and construction commenced in 1913. Unusual among Australian cities, it is an entirely planned city. The Griffins' plan featured geometric motifs and was centred on axes aligned with significant topographical landmarks such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie, Capital Hill and City Hill. Canberra's mountainous location makes it the only mainland Australian city where snow-capped mountains can be seen in winter; although snow in the city itself is uncommon. As the seat of the Government of Australia, Canberra is home to many important institutions of the federal government, national monuments and museums.       I ran the trail to the peak, while on a business trip to Canberra. It was great! I’ve seen some kangaroos and the view from the top of the mountain was amazing! Great trail run.

      Pretty wild and rough, which is good for wildlife lovers. I found loads of bird species, some kangaroo and other plenty of others that I could hear but just didn’t have enough time to stop and find.

      The trails are not clearly marked, so you’ll have to use landmarks to remember which way you came in.

      The Mount Taylor Nature Reserve is beautiful, with panoramic views of Woden Valley to the north, the Tuggeranong Valley to the south and the Brindabella Range to the west (I’m sure there’s something to the east too).

      Named after James Taylor – not the guy who sings ‘Fire and Rain’, but a squatter, who with his partner Robert Johnson established a sheep run on the Molonglo River in the early 1800s (thanks to Dave’s ACT blog for this info)

      There are several ways to get to the top, and as you make your way up, don’t forget to pause to catch your breath (necessary in parts) and perhaps catch sight of some kangaroos, and a variety of birds and reptiles.

      Your heart will certainly be pumping by the time you reach the top. However, if you are looking for a little more, someone has gaffa taped a piece of wood on the cross beam to make chin-ups more comfortable.

      Finally, don’t forget to bring water. There is a bowl for the dogs, but not for the humans. Although I’ve lobbied for a cafe/ice-cream shop at the top for years, my calls have gone unanswered.

      Mount Taylor is one of the famous landmark of Canberra. The walking trail consists of multiple routes with steep and rocky path. You can walk up-to the hill with Kangaroos on your side.

      Not easy to get there but as soon as you exit from the car you are in a magical place . Full untouched nature fresh clean spring water surrounded by mountains, sound and breeze… just awsome!!!

      Camped at McIntyres Hut. At 8pm 10 cars rocked up and played heavy bass music till 1am. Seems to be a party spot. Toilets where schmicko and the Rangers had some pre cut wood next to the fire pits. Was happy with that. Individual experiences may vary depend on the type of neighbors that come through that day.

      Beautiful park, there are a lot of 4WD trails to explore. Snow at the right time of year, camping and rivers. A great way to get from weejasper / yass to canberra
