      Found the products I was looking for.

      New review – Last week, 08/18, I visited to return the self-propelled lawn mower and get a riding lawn mower. Unfortunately, they said at the return counter that I could not avail the 20% off, which I got on the self-propelled. It was just an exchange of products, infact I planned to spend $2000 more. As the discount was not given, I left the store and went to their competitor’s store and bought a riding lawn mower.

      THIS LOWES IS THE BEST AT UNIVERSITY?? WHO EVER DID THE decorations needs to do all of the lows!!       Great customer service! My go-to place for all my home improvement projects. I like that the Lowe’s app shows exactly where in the store I can find what I searched for on the app. The app also shows the local store’s price for my searched item. I have bought everything from garden soil to new appliances and hardware here.

      I was in the store the other evening, and I was assisted by a wonderful man name Dale.

      I needed assistance with some buckets, and Dale asked if he could help before I could even get the words out.

      He didn’t just tell me the aisle # the product was located at. He took me there, unfortunately only the smaller buckets were available. At least this is what I thought.

      Dale, then pulled out his device and searched to see if the large ones were in the store. And they were! However they were out of reach (on the upper shelves) where he nor myself could reach them.

      This amazing gentleman got the huge ladder needed and climbed up to get me the items.

      Dale gave me a great experience, he went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. I said THANK YOU, but I wanted to say it again!

      It really makes a difference when you have someone who cares, and this is definitely what Dale displayed.

      Rented a power tool from this location for the first time & it was a great experience. Can’t say enough good things about Keith! He was super friendly & knowledgeable. Showed me how to set everything up, gave me tips, helped load & unload equipment. Would absolutely recommend 🙂

      My husband and I were looking for a sectional sofa with left facing chaise. David Milligan was very helpful directing us to them in the store and allowing us to look around until we made our decision. He was very nice and professional. Also found a recliner for us that would compliment the sofa. Next came the paperwork and David was able to give us a 20% discount that day and said we qualified for 48 months interest free financing. Who wouldn’t love that?! We were promised delivery the next Saturday. I appreciate the great job David did.

      Today is Saturday, delivery day and everything was on time and in perfect condition. The men were quick and efficient and cleaned up all the packing material and took it with them. I highly recommend Value City Furniture for the affordability but also for the many furniture choices. Love our choices and how comfortable it is!

We purchased some living room furniture, but unfortunately, the delivery date was far past when we needed the furniture.       Just discovered this place and it is so cute! Was greeted as soon as we entered and was pleasantly surprised at how big the place was. Bought several pieces of Jadeite and a pretty piece of Wedgewood from a sweet and knowledgeable woman in the back (booth 88, sorry didn’t catch her name). Will definitely be returning.

      This little gem is awesome. Everything is organized by vendor. The owner supports not only local business but people with disabilities trying to make some money. I was present during a transaction between vendor and owner and was impressed. Prices from vendors are based on them, not the owner. So if you don’t like the price and vendor isn’t willing to adjust just move along.

      This place is also larger than it seems from the front. There is an area in back where you walk through a doorway and there is even more stuff. If you have small children there is glass and other items throughout. You can fit a stroller or similar in and it would be wise to contain any children who are adventurous or like to grab items (don’t know better). I brought my 8yo (has autism) and did have to watch closely. My 20yo has autism as well, but he is calmer and enjoyed browsing the store. Both enjoy antique shopping and finding unique/obscure items. The record and comic selections were impressive.

      Store is NOT opened Monday and Tuesday but the rest of the week. I really enjoy this store. Owner is very welcoming and has a lovely small dog who greets you at door. The first section of building has pictures of people sitting with dog. Just a friendly environment. Plenty of nicknacks for everyone.

      I really don’t appreciate being discriminated against & harassed by the one & only sorry employee that y’all had in the store smh. The mf was standing next to me and my kids the whole time I was in the store and even FOLLOWED ME to the REGISTER while watching me like a hawk trying to make sure I paid for everything. I work hard for my money and am very offended that because I walked into this establishment dressed down with my head wrap on I was profiled and assumed as a thief smh I will not be coming back to this location ever and will be spreading the word to everybody I know and others to do the same. It makes no sense that me & my children came to enjoy our evening and give our business to this store when we could have went ANYWHERE else and left feeling uncomfortable having been harassed and accused of such a thing for no good reason. I’ll definitely be filing a complaint with the state.

      I have read the comments and I’m shocked because as a former employee that has opened multiple locations and a current customer, this Dollar Tree looks awesome! It looked so well merchandised I thought it was just opened recently. Not saying other stores are lacking but you can tell there is team culture inside the store. Employees were friendly.

      Visited Saturday 1/26/2019: This place is such a horrific mess. If I was the manager, I would be embarrassed. The photos only tell a small story. There was broken glass and liquids all over the floor. Long lines stretching to the back of the store. It is clear, this is a mismanaged Dollar Tree location. Close this place down and clean it up. These conditions could pose liability risks.

      I went to buy the planner for the year 2023 to this location. I was highly impressed by the customer service provided. The employees were busy keeping/ arranging the inventory.       Definitely leagues beyond most Dollar tree locations I have been to. Spoke to the most delightful woman who was supposed to work night shift but I was blessed to encounter her during the day. Praying for her knee. I don’t know if Dollar tree is increasing their standards but she should be in management. Never in my life would I think to give them a five-star review save for this outstanding customer service of this woman! She should be teaching customer service from a corporate level.

      I was attempting to have a nice shopping experience but the young man at the service desk ruined it. He was cursing and talking so loud. It was so obnoxious. It aprears that a customer told him he was going too slow. He was talking about the situation so loud as he was ringing up other guests. I know its hard to find people to work and i guess quality and professiobal is completely out of the question. Just because your store is on south blvd and not in south park mall doesnt mean you have to act like you’re substandard nor treat your customers as tho they are.       So I’m normally in there every day or every other day but last night I didn’t get there till 930. Now I understand the frustration of people coming in late because I work in the restaurant but we got to keep the doors open till the time we close, and if someone comes in a minute before we have to cater to them because we’re in the customer service business, it would’ve been nice to be on the opposite end of that privilege. I am not sure the woman’s name but she’s around 5’8 blondish, kinky hair, lighter, dark skin and tattoos on her neck. At 9:35 she got on the speaker and announced that the registers were closing sharply at 9:55 and if you couldn’t be at the register with your purchase, you’d have to be taken care of in the morning. Every five minutes she would get on the mic and tell people how much time they had before they had to get out of the store and without any hesitation, she was quick to speak loudly about how frustrated she was being there all day she wanted to go home and she didn’t care who was in the store, at one point the other cashier turned around and said she had to leave promptly at 10 and she didn’t feel comfortable having the loud and arrogant girl take the blame for her even though sick girl said she would the girl not forementioned who had to be off at 10 o’clock, was basically doing her job to the best of her ability and explaining that she just wanted to follow the rules because when her Bosses give her a hard time even though she’s allowed to pass the blame to the girl who continue to get on the loudspeaker she didn’t feel comfortable or it was the right thing to do the girl on the far register closer to the Amazon pick up lockers did not seem to care and at 9:55 she said that anybody that wasn’t in line at that point was not going to be taken out. I would have to come back in the morning, I didn’t realize this woman owns Ross or had this kind of authority but it’s rude behavior and rushing in consideration for the people that had to run around all day and couldn’t get there till late is appalling. I think the most ironic thing is instead of getting on the register and helping people check out with the ravens. She just decided to complain as loud as she could and get on the phone. Every chance this was August Tuesday night between the hours of 935 and 10 PM.

      Where does one start? That’s a hard question to answer. With that said, avoid the Online Grocery Pickup department at all costs. With wait times vastly longer than advertised, chronic understaffing, ample substitutions due to poor stocking, and a general inability to maintain a sanitary, useful storage area, anyone considering this location for their store pickup purchases should reconsider. Other locations, namely the ones in Belmont and Lake Wylie, have no such issues.

      Employees are directed to decline telephone calls from customers during busy times, preventing many customers from checking in for pickup. As cell service is horrendous in the complex, many customers have no choice other than calling the store. If employees do answer the phone, team leads threaten them with “coachings” or other disciplinary action, even if corporate training mandates those calls be taken.

      Additionally, OGP associates are the most well-versed on all areas of the store. When asking for help, they’ll generally have the best knowledge. Due to corporate’s inability to consider customer care, pickers are penalized solely by spending time answering questions. If pick rates drop below 100 items per hour, the store retains the right to terminate associates. Start a general pick walk, help four customers, then get written up.

      Store management is atrocious, as well. April, one of many store managers, uses a lackadaisical approach to management and deferment. Most coaches and team leads are unhappy with her inability to work. With a few notable exceptions, including Stephanie (a digital coach), most would love to see her be dismissed and replaced by someone with a decent work ethic.

      In essence, this store is operated with an anti-customer agenda, which translates to an overworked, massively unhappy workforce. Almost every employee works tirelessly, yet receives absolutely no support or thanks in return. Add in the quite unsavory, poorly-mannered customers and you have a horrendous situation.

      But hey, welcome to Walmart. ?

      Just a quick note on one particular employee in their eye care dept.: This young lady was so kind and offered such superior customer service when I was searching for a special sort of eye glass carry case-well, I trust you know who you are, you were such a blessing, and thanks so very much!

      My friend visited the S Tryon St. location Thursday evening. She dropped her keys while shopping and had a bit of a panic attack. She asked at the CS counter if anyone had found any keys. The two associates said no keys have been turned. She kept looking and an associate from a department said oh I found them and turned them in up front a little while ago. My friend went up front and was told first to wait in line. She responded I’m just wondering if anyone turned in my keys. They said we don’t have any keys. She responded I was told they were turned in. No ma’am no keys. She went back to that Associate and she walked back up front with her and pointed out the girl that she gave the keys to. ….BUSTED…. She got her keys and asked for a manager to see why the CS associate lied. The manager basically said you got your keys is there anything else we can do for you. Yes find out why your associate lied. She was working in Customer Service to help people……. Not to cause them more problems

      I suggest finding a better Walmart location to shop in or maybe even a different retailer. This location obviously hires dishonest Associates in my opinion.

      As large as a corporation, that Walmart is, they don’t have tap to pay. So we had to leave everything at the register after waiting in line for one of the slowest cashier’s ever. I really don’t like using Walmart. It just a necessary evil sometimes.

      Clean, lightly scented restrooms. Store is clean too. Also, the parking lot attendant picks up trash in the parking lot.

      Except 1, all the employees were nice and helpful, even offering assistance without me asking.

      Biggest drawback is their lack of stocked shelves. The app kept showing items were in stock in the store, but the shelves were nearly bare — not containing the product or anything similar.

      Many shelves are missing common items. For example, the office section has poster board, but only multi-colored poster board. Not basic colors like black or white. Also, lots of basic items, like engine oil and light bulbs are locked up so you have to find a staff person.

      Also, only 2 self checkouts were open and 1 line with a cashier. I advise going before 7am.

      I am rating this store 5 stars because of a guy that works in electronics named Jason. This guy was working by himself today and he was swamped. However he managed to take care of his customers in a timely manner. He was kind, professional and helpful. I rarely visit this store anymore because of the staff. Usually they are rude, have no knowledge of their product and act like it is an inconvenience to help a customer. If you had more people like Jason working their I would visit this store more often. Give this guy a raise. He is overworked and almost certainly under paid.

      Absolutely worst store in the area. Only 10 mini from me but I’ll gladly drive 25 minutes to Matthews for the better cleaner store with exceptional customer service. These folks never ever answer the phone to help with online orders. There is many a reason I detest this location

      In the past month I have had three documented negative experiences dealing with Walmart’s so-called curbside but this one takes the cake and I had to leave a review about my experience. As most are aware the curbside service at this location ends at 10:00pm everyday. With me knowing this I stopped by at 9:50pm to pick up a small curbside order that I had placed earlier that day. When I arrived I see three curbside employees standing around doing nothing. So I call because why is nobody bringing my order. Nobody answers. So I call again. And I hear one of the employees a male dressed in all black say “oh they’re calling again! I’m glad they’re calling too because I need to put the phone up……” basically they were ignoring the notification that I had checked in to receive my order and refused to take my call. Refusing to work basically. It doesn’t matter how close it is to closing if I checked in before the closing time, my order should have been fulfilled and brought out to me. This location needs to reevaluate the kind of people they employ because the ones they have clearly do not want to work. I have to do my job up to the last minute so why shouldn’t they? I will escalate this issue as high up as I can because this is ridiculous. I spoke to a manager about the situation and she was very apologetic but basically there was nothing that she could do since they had left for the night and I was advised to come back tomorrow which is an inconvenience for me with it being back to school weekend. Now I have to waste time and gas going back because their sorry employees didn’t want to do their job.
