And i could not so i didnt opened the bottle, and made sure that when i left the house today checked the bottle again that it wasn’t opened and manager said it sealed was opened how would i know that the seal was opened. So manager persumed i opened the bottle, so maybe when she opened the bottle hard enough then the sealed would have opened too. if there is a zero i would not give them one star

Extremely rude service. The male chemist seems to judge people by the way they look. He tried to make me pay full price for a prescription even though my pension entitlement number was written on the script.
They then asked for my pension card and Medicare card when I complained about the price.
Never going back there again and I will tell my friends and family as well.

I get the Webster packs from here and they are always properly stocked with my medication. The customer service is amazing! The team goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you need at the best price you can! If you’re sick of being treated like a number at other franchise chemists? Support a local business and make the switch. It’s so worth it!

Chemist Warehouse Gladstone Square
Address: Gladstone Square Shopping Centre, Shops 10 & 11/184 Goondoon St, Gladstone Central QLD 4680, Australia
Poor service from staff that are incompetent and should not even be working in a healthcare environment. The residents of Gladstone would do better to find an alternative pharmacy with knowledgeable and compassionate staff. I do not mean this about all Chemist Warehouses; this is definitely a first in poor service from a Chemist Warehouse branch.
We had a script which is for an over the counter medication. After making us wait 15mins for the script, we pointed out it was over the counter, to which the staff said that “no you’re wrong, the script is for a stronger dose”, only to eventually dispense THE SAME STRENGTH medication 15 mins later, which we asked for.
I will add that not only am I a Registered Nurse, I personally use the identical medication.
Addit: Next time I encounter those two staff members, I will name and shame them. Consider this a warning Chemist Warehouse; tell your staff to fix their attitude problems.

However hate no one ever asks about your optimal membership card at checkout. I have to literally remember else I walk out and remember then. Amount of money in rewards I’ve lost would be horrendous considering what I’ve spent there. I mean think of the elderly or those with cognitive decline or idiots like me that just forget. What to Consider When Visiting an Op Shop in Gladstone
Anglican This N That Shop in Gladstone
When going to a thrift store in Australia, there are several things to consider in order to have a successful and enjoyable shopping experience. Here are some factors to keep in mind:
Location: Choose a thrift store that is conveniently located for you. Check online or use mapping apps to find the nearest options. This will save you time and make your visit more convenient.
Store Reputation: Research the store’s reputation before visiting. Look for reviews and feedback from previous customers to get an idea of the quality and variety of items available.
Store Policies: Familiarize yourself with the store’s policies such as returns, exchanges, and any membership or discount programs they offer. Knowing these details beforehand can help prevent any confusion or disappointment later on.
Opening Hours: Check the store’s opening and closing hours. Some thrift stores have limited operating hours or specific days when they receive new inventory. Planning your visit accordingly will ensure you have enough time to browse and find what you’re looking for.
Bring Cash: Many thrift stores in Australia prefer cash payments, so it’s a good idea to bring enough cash with you. Some stores may accept cards, but it’s always safer to have cash as a backup.
Inspect Items: Before making a purchase, thoroughly inspect the items you’re interested in. Check for any damages, stains, missing parts, or signs of wear and tear. This will help you make an informed decision and avoid any surprises after you’ve made the purchase.
Try Things On: If the thrift store has a fitting room, take advantage of it and try on clothing items you’re considering. This will help ensure a proper fit and prevent the hassle of returning items that don’t work for you.
Be Open-Minded: Thrift stores offer a wide range of items, so keep an open mind while shopping. You may discover unique pieces or unexpected treasures that you wouldn’t have found in regular retail stores.
Support a Cause: Many thrift stores in Australia are associated with charities or non-profit organizations. By shopping at these stores, you are not only getting great deals but also supporting a good cause. Consider the values and objectives of the thrift store and choose to shop where you align with their mission.

The Salvation Army Family Store Gladstone
Address: 161 Auckland St, South Gladstone QLD 4680, Australia
I am putting in a complaint about Jarvis (I think it was) the manager at salvation army in Gladstone.
I would like to express how I felt today going to my local salvation army, I was on the hunt for a 80s prom dress for a hen do I have coming up.
I approached a staff member and asked where the fitting rooms are for me to try something on and was told that there isn’t any. I asked why and was told it was due to theft of items which I understand. I then asked if I can return an item if it didn’t fit me as I am a new mother and I am breastfeeding so something that would fit me doesn’t at the moment. I was told to ask the manager which is when I met Jarvis the Manager of the salvation army in Gladstone. I asked Jarvis if I could please put the items over my clothes to see if they fit, he said no very rudely. I asked how am I meant to know if it fits me and you have no return policy? He then said “I don’t want to talk to you get out my face”. I was completely shocked and I said how can you talk to a customer like this I am just asking you a simple question. He then continued to be rude to me and said I don’t want to talk to you.
I asked for his name and told him I am putting in a complaint which he said “do it” and showed me his badge all cocky. I left the store crying I was trying to explain to him that I am breastfeeding and I need to try things on at the moment but he didn’t want to listen to a word I was saying. I have never felt so insulted and hurt.
How is a policy in place where you cant try items on or have a return policy for clothing?
I would like an outcome about this matter as I have never felt so upset about leaving a store.
Thank you

95% of the items for sale here are extremely overpriced. A real shame honestly for those whom are struggling, as they would not be able to afford to shop in this store. Pretty disgusting knowing everything was donated to them for free, they are taking advantage of people who buy from them. I would encourage people to buy retail from kmart big w etc as those stores will sell you brand new items for much less.

Woolworths and traditional markets both offer different shopping experiences that cater to different needs and preferences. Here are some pros and cons to consider when choosing between the two:
Woolworth:
Pros:
– Convenience: Woolworths stores are typically located in easily accessible areas, making it convenient for shoppers to visit.
– Wide variety: Woolworths offers a wide range of products, including groceries, clothing, household items, and electronics, providing shoppers with one-stop shopping convenience.
– Quality assurance: Woolworths often offers branded products, ensuring a certain level of quality for shoppers.
– Online shopping: Woolworths also provides the option for shoppers to purchase items online and have them delivered to their doorstep, saving time and effort.
Cons:
– Higher prices: Compared to traditional markets, Woolworths products are generally priced higher due to factors such as branding and convenience.
– Limited bargaining: Shoppers may not have the opportunity to negotiate prices or bargain with sellers as they would in traditional markets.
– Less personal interaction: The shopping experience at Woolworths may lack the personal interaction and connection that can be found in traditional markets.
Traditional market:
Pros:
– Lower prices: Traditional markets often offer products at lower prices compared to Woolworth, as they usually source directly from producers or wholesalers.
– Bargaining opportunities: Shoppers can negotiate prices or bargain with sellers, potentially obtaining better deals.
– Fresh and local products: Traditional markets are known for offering a variety of fresh and locally sourced products, allowing shoppers to support local businesses and enjoy a unique shopping experience.
– Personal interaction: Shoppers can directly communicate with sellers, forming connections and gaining insights about the products they are purchasing.
Cons:
– Limited variety: Traditional markets may have a limited range of products compared to larger stores like Woolworth.
– Inconvenience: Traditional markets are often located in specific areas, requiring shoppers to travel to reach them.
– Time-consuming: Shopping at traditional markets can be more time-consuming due to the need to visit multiple stalls or vendors to find everything on your shopping list.
Ultimately, the choice between Woolworths and traditional markets depends on personal preferences, budget, and shopping needs. While Woolworths offers convenience, a wide variety, and quality assurance, traditional markets provide lower prices, bargaining opportunities, fresh and local products, and personal interaction.

I go there for the chemist more than anything.
It’s only a small stockland and not well laid out
It was disappointing to see the last bank there close

Very disappointed. Put my car in for a full interior and exterior detail. Was quoted one price over the phone and they charged me $80 more without telling me. Windscreen was smudged, back parcel shelf still covered in dust, marks on paint that easily polished and wiped off at home. Will never use this company again as when we called up the manager was rude and refused to rectify the issues.
