      We love stopping here to eat when visiting our friends. They eat here regularly too, so many options to select from. Ned kelly pie was very delicious and enjoyed my Apple strudel. My husband just enjoys the plain pies.

      Found your awesome shop from a Google search and I can see why you’ve got good reviews! We had cakes for brunch and came back a few hours later for a few pies ? really good cakes and the pasty and filling in the pie was really good!       Great range of delicious pastries and pies. You can drive in and park and eat at outdoor tables or takeaway. We had the sausage roll and vanilla slice and they were yummy. Also got a family sized spinach quiche for dinner. Friendly staff.

      Lovely staff, close to our accommodation. Flaky pastry, there is one option for vegans. We got the curry pie and the pastie. Both were average not too flavourful. More pastry than filling. We did love the mushy pea option and the staff pop it in your pie for ya.

      Can’t really talk about the rooms as I was camping on an unpowered site. The location is near to the beach and many tourist destinations such as the beach, botanical gardens as well as the aquarium with all being in walking distance. The service here is very good and the food are well priced and nice. One slight annoyance though on an unpowered site is that there are many noise makers around night as the cane toads begin making sound along with the many birds that occupy the area.

      Location is ideal for the marina if you are doing excursions to K’gari island or whale watching. We had a double room, which was a double bunk bed with the mattress taken off the top bunk. Bed was pretty comfy and room basic but comfortable and close to the kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped, but small. Would be hard to cook if a few people were in there. Reception run very limited hours, we didn’t meet any staff during our stay. When we arrived we had asked for help 3 times to get from the greyhound bus to the hotel, and were ignored 3 times. They also don’t offer any luggage storage outside of operating hours which was unhelpful as a lot of people stay here for the excursions. Overall stay was good, but customer service could be improved.

      Stayed here 4 years ago. I’ve been staying in YHA’s for over 30 years & have NEVER been made to feel more unwelcome than I was here. Was here 2 nights before meeting Karen. And when we did, she yelled at us because we had queried the staff about the price charged versus what we were quoted over the phone. Karen shouldn’t be in charge of a cake stall, let alone a business where welcoming guests is a prerequisite. It was bad enough that we couldn’t check in for 3 hours because reception was closed. Then we wanted to cook & there were no plates, cups, cutlery,pots & pans.we had to ask to borrow them from reception. The place itself is nice. But YHA should sack Karen & get someone who actually likes people.?

      Great location and nice lodgings. UNFORTUNATELY little coverage at reception building and the key and directions to our villa were available to us via a lock box. No information on the grounds at all. The really bad part was there was no internet available and no one around to tell us if there was a place on the grounds we could access it. We had no cell service and no internet for 3 days. May sound trivial but it certainly wasn’t. When we checked out we were told internet was available (but spotty) in the lounge. The lounge was not open while we were on the premises. This could have been a great place but failed miserably.

      Look, this place has potential to be great but unfortunately it wasn’t there yet. The positive thing about it were the animals everywhere, as a bird fan I was surprised to find some peacocks all over the place. The peacocks owned the place more than anyone we saw, they where everywhere and they where loud. At 4:30 when the sun comes up they woke up as well. I was wondering why there are only males? Wouldn’t they be happier with females to? There were also some roosters locked up on the property, only roosters.. what makes no sense because they are also loud and why keep roosters and no chickens? The chicken coop was dirty and seemed neglected, but it wasn’t because roosters were living in there.. oke enough about the chicken coop lets go to the room, we liked it! Big, clean, fridge, shower everything you need on a basic level. Exept wifi and that would make the place even better, the whole YHA. Okey there where options at the pool/bar to get some but that’s not the same. Would I recommend? Yess, maybe but only if you know what to expect.

      The best fish & chips shop in Hervey Bay!! I had a piece of cod that was cooked to perfection!!! ?? the chips are delicious and no grease at all. The portion of fish with chips is very generous! ? It’s situated close to the Urangan Pier with lots of spots for a pic nic or you can seat at their seating area and enjoy the best fish! Highly recommend! ?

      Not a huge range of food or drinks to choose from but the food that we did order was delicious. Big servings. The potato scallops are popular and they didn’t disappoint, they were thick cut, nice batter and not overly oily. We ordered calamari with chips, grilled snapper and 5 potato scallops. A water, and ginger beer as well as seafood sauce cost $47.40. ?? I’ve lived here for 16 years and can say this is definitely one of the better fish shops. Oh and we got a half dozen local oysters for $16.00. We will be back.

      10/10 food & service ! Placed an online order at peak hour and it was ready within minutes ? I cannot get over how delicious the food was and not too greasy like many other places I’ve tried before ! Very good serving also, and 4 pieces of lemon per tray which is fantastic. Will definitely be back more often than not. If you haven’t yet tried Migaloos, do yourself a favour & get on down to Urangan ??

      Fully licensed for dine in customers, so no BYO in the venue

      Situated in a great location, in a park adjacent the Urangan Pier. Quite a few picnic tables in close vicinity, many with water views ?️

      Our order was taken politely and ready in ten minutes

      We chose to enjoy our meal at a table with views over the bay, just beautiful

      Plenty of convenient parking and public toilets nearby The venue was spotlessly clean and our meal was delicious ?

      Have been going to headlines for over 15 years and will continue to support such an amazing local family business. I have had many different styles and colours over the years, and have LOVED every single one. From pre teen craziness of ruby red hair to now prepping for blonde wedding hair glamour – headlines has always provided realistic advice and a wonderful service. You truly feel like a part of a close family when you go to headlines. The Salon is always incredibly clean and always so stylish. Worth every single cent.

      This is the worst place to ever get your hair done. if you want them to ignore your requests and so what they want go there. they have thinned my hair and dyed it brown when i came in to get it lightened. absolutely the most horrible hairdresser i have ever been to. and i was charged $400 for it and was never given a refund. the staff were rude and made it out like it was my fault that they stuffed up. absolutely disgusting place.

      Called Headlines last week to make appointment for a cut & got appointment for today( Monday) I saw Emma & she listened and look at 2 pics I had and I could not be happier thx so much you did a fab job even hubby said wow yr hair looks great really great lol

      28/12/2023 – We decided to go to this restaurant near our Motel, we checked online menu decided our order and went there, and My disappointments are here

      1) Waitress gave us menu and I told we are ready to order when you’re ready, waitress went inside and started wiping Dishes and we kept waiting till someone noticed 10 minutes later and came to take order.

      2) Mixed pakora didn’t have any salt in it.

      3) Our Paneer Kadai curry was more like paneer butter masala, sweet and orangy (check photo) color instead of brown gravy. I can count 2 capcicum in it, 10gm sauce and 100 paneer. Not at all authentic, cant say it was indian curry.

      4) We ordered 1 paratha, while serving paratha, waitress told us any other order will take 20-25 minutes. I asked, “even for paratha?” She replied “Yes because chef is busy preparing others food”. I have visited busier restaurants than that and it never takes 20 minutes for paratha. This restaurant only had few tables, it shouldn’t have taken 20-25 minutes for 1 bloody paratha. I have worked in restaurants and running orders takes priority specially things like paratha and Rice. Don’t bloody say chef is busy to make others food. I am customer,too and paying money.

      We were on holiday and didn’t want to spoil mood arguing with them but they definitely spoiled my mood by worst food and service.

      Please don’t call this indian Food. Also have some courtesy to ask for feedback and take it, you need it.

      BIG NO NO from me. NEVER GOING AGAIN.

      First time going there, food was cooked very well,love it. The only issue was the cleanliness of the place: the dinning table was dirty,with covid just gone you would expect hight level of cleanliness but nope. There was so much oil left on the entre plate, had to wipe my food with service to get rid of the oil.

      My Beef Madras was just delicious. Thought it was cute for the owner have his daughter learning to waitress. Would definitely recommend. Hopefully the aircon is on during heatwaves.

      Curries are good even though missing some sauce. Rices are also good but naan is not good. No indian ambiance, quite cold in fact. Ask for the bill because they just tell you a price and some extra things can appear without notice.

      Just went to this restaurant tonight for food and asked for it spicy. Literally the only place in Hervey bay that actually makes it spicy for you. Absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back
