Not a bad shopping centre, it has everything you need. Woolworths, coles, best and less, jewellers, dollar shop, food court, fashion and shoe shops, cafes and hair dressers, and barbers. Taken a star off because the entries seem to be a gathering spot for smokers.

Very rough area very bogan and obviously lots of crimes happenings there. We felt very to this old folks (Australian) when we get there to the car park. This man’s look was so very worried nervous because…someone stole he’s car from the car park when he returns after shopping. It’s awful disgusting in a broad daylight it happens. Never going back there. Maybe one day our car will be the next.

The seats in the cinema are quite worn and the armrests are disintegrating. I appreciate the effort to use 100% recyclable cups and popcorn packages, but it would be great to see recycling bins around to support this initiative. People at the top really need to align the ‘eco-friendly’ image with practical measures.

The movie was great the seats were great the only down side was that they never had one of the food items I wanted and I watched the Barbie movie in gold class and was looking forward to the special cocktail they had on offer the drink came out and it was a normal blue cocktail I was looking forward to the special drink to.? The staff members could of at least told me the drink was unavailable so I could of chosen a different drink. Otherwise the food we got was nice the drink not so much worth the experience just remember to ask if foods and drinks are available.?

The morning of our walk had been a bit wet, so some parts of the trail were a bit slushy underfoot, but given that we were only wearing ordinary sneakers, the trail was still fine to navigate. The scenery is really pretty, and to see how dense the forest is in the area was really cool. We walked to Silver Falls with the kids and they also enjoyed the walk. The waterfall was quite active, and very photogenic.

Absolutely beautiful!! Fern Tree Park is one of my favourite place to go for a walk. It was so enjoyable to see those beautiful flower blossoms and waterfalls. Bushwalking is a great way to relax the mind, just enjoy the peaceful view and explore the unknown flowers and trees. Perfect time to go during summer, not too cold and not too hot, still needs to bring a jacket though, cause the temperature is a few degrees lower inside the park. There are steel tables and benches if you feel like having your lunch there. Definitely going back soon?

I absolutely love these gardens! There is so much space, and you can bring your dog if on lead and enjoy a picnic lunch anywhere you like!
The majority of the gardens are wheelchair and pram friendly, and you can always find another path to take. There is an on-site restaurant and cafe if you feel like grabbing a coffee and having a stroll. You will always find a quiet place to sit and relax. Clean and immaculate paths and grounds and lots of toilet facilities.
Always lots of activities around the park and the grounds can be hired privately for functions, events and weddings.
The park is free to enter, donations are welcome. Some shows and experiences in the park may have admission fees.

Pretty nice park to spend a quality time with your family. As being in a hilly region, there are quite a few ups and downs so be careful with little ones. My son is 2 and half and he kept running and fall down quite a few times. Nothing major though. Parking was little tough to get near the garden. But greenery as Botanical garden was wonderful.

It’s quite big and has some small lakes, Japanese, italian gardens and you can see many different trees and plants, native and from around the world as well. All year round is nice, but of course Spring and Autumn have the best colors. You can spot some nice birds as well and it’s It’s always free entry from sunrise to sunset!

Magnificent old trees, beautiful garden beds, a community vegetable garden or lunch at the restaurant, it’s an enjoyable day out.

A fantastic stop for anyone visiting Hobart.
Walking in I was able to listen to a symposium on Wildlife Conservation, and then a very interesting talk about the utility of ecological collections.
After this, I walked through the museum and the art gallery. In the art gallery I verged upon outstaying my welcome, listening to perhaps the most passionate and knowledgeable staff member, Luke, that I have come across in any gallery. I would recommend this place just to listen to the bloke talk!
Definite recommendation. (All free too!).

Amazing to learn about the history of this place. Recommend that you take advantage of the two day pass if you’re staying nearby and split your visit.
We did an afternoon and then the following morning which was just about right.
The self guided tour around the site is good, but make sure you get a map! As an add on the Isle of the Dead tour is excellent and can be accessed from the harbour cruise.
The massacre that occurred here in 1996 is also very sensitively dealt with, the memorial garden has a real sense of serenity and allows for quiet contemplation.
