      DON’T GO! All products don’t have prices, which means they practice price discrimination. As a tourist on Christmas Night, they attempted to charge me 2-3x the price of bottled water from woolworths. I appreciate that things may be more expensive during Christmas, but this is ridiculous. I was much happier to pay $10 back at my hotel for branded water than here

      ten out of ten,, i saw kasey to get my hair done, one of the kindest, sweetest most genuine and gentle person i have ever met. she’s a creative mastermind and i have never been so happy with my hair in my life! the whole salon environment was so warm and welcoming, all the stylists were so lovely and willing to help out. i couldn’t see myself going to a different salon again.

      A big thumbs up to Bernadette who fixed my hair up after I had a bad experience in Brisbane, before coming to Hobart to spend a few days with family. I was in damage control and needed to get it fixed asap. I was booked in the same day I arrived and I rate my experience a 10 out of 10. looking and feeling 100% better when I walked out.       I have eaten from here (takeaway and dine in) several times and I am never disappointed! The food is always delicious and contains high quality ingredients. The staff are excellent and respectful. The restaurant itself is a comfortable and cosy environment. The meals are very reasonably priced. I have no faults for this place – it is at the top of my list of Hobart restaurants for a relaxing, delicious and satisfying meal!

      I’m from Melbourne, was on my vacation in Tassie. I strongly suggest to try out other restaurants on the same street(Indian culture) . I’m a vegetarian and the options were not that great. We ordered Malai kofta which was very bad. It was extremely sweet. Chai and Nimbu paani was not that great as well. Just helping out other travellers who are new to Tassie and are looking for good Indian restaurant options. This place is not suggested.

      Annapurna is an average restaurant; the decor is outdated with dim lights. The staff is really nice and friendly, they are happy to chat with you. The vibe of the area is vibrant from Thursday -Saturday afternoon (that’s when you should go). The parking is available on road. They offer papadum just after you are seated, menus are already placed on the table. We were also served complimentary rice ( not sure how often they do it)- I really appreciate the gesture.

      1. Dal Makhani: NOT RECOMMENDED- It was a mixture of different dal (pulses), the proportion od yellow dal was more than any other which completely spoiled the taste.

      2. Butter Panner Lababdar: RECOMMENDED- Though its not the original paneer lababdar with capsicum and good amount of onion, It tastes more like shahi paneer with big paneer pieces.

      3. Paneer Tikka Masala: NOT RECOMMENDED- The paneer cubes are cut in square big pieces, nicely roasted, there were very few vegetable (found 2 pieces of onion and capsicum each) served with half a lemon. The mint chutney was really good. @management: this item can be popular if it can include more vegetables in it.

      4. Chilli Cheese Naan: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- love this item, fully loaded with cheese and adequate amount of red chilli powder sprinkled over it. I was expecting it to a bit spice, but this one was perfect.

      5. Garlic Naan: RECOMMENDED- The bread was nicely good with perfect amount of garlic and butter on it.

      Annapurna did an amazing job catering for our corporate event in Hobart. The food was very delicious and the customer service was excellent, which helped ensure our event ran smoothly and without any issues. All of our guests were very happy with the food and with how generous the portions were. Annapurna catered to all our dietary requirements and the whole process was easy and efficient. A big thank you to the Annapurna team!

      Had to clean a rental car and chose this place because it was the closest. I thought it would be like any other car wash, I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by possibly Tasmania’s friendliest person (Steven). I could instantly tell that he was passionate about his job and his detailing. He went through the best steps for cleaning the car and even offered some tools to help. In addition to Steven’s amazing attitude the facility itself was clean,working and well managed. Would recommend this place to anyone.

      machines with new EFTPOS installed were super misleading, beware when using. We were using coins and were short of a dollar, so we tapped our card, thinking it would allow us to choose an amount to be charged. It didn’t – took the full amount of an entire car wash. We realised only some of the EFTPOSes had this issue and we were the unlucky ones. Staff onsite were notified but couldn’t do much about it so we just let the extra 6 mins run out.

      Refer to the picture and you’ll see how it can be misunderstood. Do take note of that when coming to this car wash.

      Pretty busy place but doesn’t compromise on the service, very quick and efficient stuff. Boys have well taken care of my car, did they a detailed cleaning of the outside of my car at a minimum rate. Didn’t had to wait to long, I would recommend this place.

      The work carried out by Steve Bryce Electrical was absolutely superb.

      We were renovating our home and the extent of alteration required service from all trades, particularly the expertise of Steve Bryce who worked without effort around the changing circumstances of construction and alternative dates as the schedule altered.

      The work involved everything from underfloor heating in the bathroom, fan and heating installation, a myriad of changed domestic power outlets and lighting which involved lifting large areas of roofing and insulation, plus the installation of a cooking stove.

      Of primary concern to us as the house owners was the: quality; professionalism in keeping abreast of modern practice; the extraordinary speed with which the work was carried out regardless of its seeming complexity; the absolute attention to arriving on site, on time and ‘ready to go’ in addition to timely telephone calls to advise if he was running late; and finally, his total focus on leaving the worksite scrupulously clean, tidy and absolutely safe.

      Employing ‘A Skilled Tradesmen’, is not as simple as telephoning a mobile number on the back of a van. There’s a degree of concern wondering whether you have got the ‘right person’.

      The name Steve Bryce was passed to us by someone who knew his capabilities. On this basis we employed him (and have since recommended him to a lot of others) because ‘what you see is what you get’: a punctual, polite, properly equipped professional who is highly considerate of the customer and keen to consult if there’s another way to do something.

      As with all professionals, there’s a price attached. This was discussed when Steve came to ‘look at the job’. We never debated the price, nor ever had reason to question the Invoices.

      We employed the right man for the job. The work was absolutely Five Star Rating and we have had no reason to complain whatever.

      Steve Bryce is a consummate professional Electrician.

      I’ve been going to Automotive Workshop for nearly a year now.

      Ben, Jason and the rest of the team have always delivered quality services, very competitive pricing and are very accommodating and friendly. Easily one of the best mechanics in Hobart by quite a margin.

      They are willing to take on last minute jobs, are very open and forthcoming and go out of their way to make sure you know whats going on with your car.

      Absolutely FIVE Star service from Jason and the team for me this week. I needed repairs and an inspection done on my car urgently and after being turned away from other workshops I called The Automotive Workshop at about 4pm on Tuesday and they came to my rescue! These guys are exceptional. Going above and beyond all the way just so l could get my car back on the road asap. Good old fashioned customer service.       My car had been serviced here previously, only to have my engine blow up 200kms later due to the team using engine flush. When discussed with multiple other mechanics they advised it should have never been done on my vehicle as it had not been done before. Cost me $6k to repair elsewhere as they offered no assistance and no ownership.

      I walked into Island Dental Surgery embarrassed, anxious and toothless.

      As most human beings, I haven’t been the consistent one to attend my regular check ups and knew this may bring judgement in the back of of my mind being an overthinking 28 year old human..

      But, I was greeted by the exact opposite.

      The front of house reception staff with their smiles, genuine care and professionalism and somehow understanding my gibberish after my sessions with inflated lips.

      To Joey and Bec, my dental doctor and nurse, huge shout out to teaching me patience and always being able make me cry with laughter and not judging my toothless self at all and making me feel comfortable and looked after without fail.

      This is the only Dental Clinic I would recommend to friends, family and Toothless people of Tasmania.
