Used the tunnel car wash for the first time. Disappointing, while the sides of the car were clean, the rear definitely was not. Quit a lot of dirt still on bumper and around number plate. Think I will go back to Tassie Wash in Wellington Street. Not too sure about those brushes on the paint work over time either!

Because Launceston is so accessible by foot you need decent toilets which are safe and well maintained. Over the years these toilets are not only for visitors to the park but with nearby parking are a destination when arriving in town by car. Interesting design and well maintained over the years. I was a patient at L.G.H recently. The doctors, nurses through to the meal delivers and cup of tea girls were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them..My only complaint was at handover time. I was in a 4 bed ward no complaints about that at all
I didn’t agree with handover at shift change being conducted within earshot of the other patients in the room
Privacy and dignity did not exist. Why can’t this be done at the nurse’s station.

I had an Angiogram yesterday 5/July/2023. All the nursing staff in the Cardiology Department were awesome. From the lead up phone calls I recieved prior to appointment date right through to prep and completion of the procedure on the day. A few laughs were had as well.
The after care nurses in day procedures recovery ward were also awesome. I’m not a fan of hospital visits, I’ve had my share, but this one was memorable. Thanks heaps.

This place is a joke! 6 yr old daughter got attacked by a dog, cuts everywhere! She was taken up by an ambulance… guess what? Got told to sit in the waiting room! 2 hours have passed and are still sitting in the waiting room. Will update and let you all know what time we get in. Unbelievable. We’ll my daughter finally got seen another 30 minutes later. But what an amazing doctor, Dr Adam! reminded me of the talk show host, James corden. And what an amazing nurse (george) lady nurse. Insisted I called her George. 2 great people. I’m not sure what time the hospital can do to reduce the waiting time? Maybe have a kids only section?

Please do not have a baby here, I recommend Hobart or Burnie. Understaffed, dry blood in the delivery room I asked for it to be cleaned, blood taken- forgotten – left on shelf then had to retry for bloods ( hard with my veins), did not read my pre baby requests…. Did not follow my instructions as requested, food isn’t suitable for diabetics, incorrect meds given, ladies baby dropped in the other room from nurse, EXTREMELY understaffed, I requested to leave hospital after birth as I felt extremely unsafe. Before baby I was lost in the file and not given any information for upcoming baby or post baby of care. No bathing shown or changing boot etc … you’re left on your own. My belongings stolen so requested to have a night stay alone as I was so stressed …. $600 for one night. Fans zip tied and with a fever I was given paper wet towel which was not suitable or helpful with the fever.
The list goes on. I developed ptsd diagnosed via a psychologist. Please for the saftey of yourself and baby do not go here.

She is extremely rude, not cooperative, not supportive and basically refuse to bulk bill even if the GP approves. She is not patient with people with young children and her facial expressions if you are person with a darker skin is shocking! Sometimes, she will basically stare at you and not even answer questions. Really hope this attitude changes and no citizen deserve this treatment. It’s been ongoing for six years and nothing has changed so far.

Our regular Doctor is Dr. Thompson who is very warm and knowledgeable, he sees our whole family and is particularly good with our toddler, we have never left feeling unheard of unseen too. All of the other Doctors are also good, when we have seen them in busy times. The nurses are great, especially Jenna the practice nurse who is fantastic as are the ladies on Reception. Nothing but good experiences, always able to get an appointment easily and generally runs on time.

I have had a headache for 4 weeks so rang to get an appointment to see a doctor. I dont have a regular doctor because i have never been sick before, healthy aged 50. Sorry to say as i am vaccine free I am not even allowed in this practice. I was told that this is their policy. Im sorry…. your policy is to discriminate against people. Im pretty sure this is unethical. So disappointing that this sort of treatment is happening in 2022.

This shop is unfortunately pricing it’s customers out. The “vintage and retro” items are much dearer here than at actual vintage shops. I understand that pickers purchase from op shops to resell at a higher price. Why not allow them to support their small business and your charity at the same time? Ultimately the current pricing model is costing people the dignity of being able to a. purchase in the first place and b. resell to make a little extra money.
As for the clothing, it’s also far too dear. A used Adidas women’s cropped jacket for $70? They were around that brand new 5 years ago. Really sad to hear elderly pensioners discussing having to put the things they liked back on the rack as they couldn’t afford it. Your prices are humiliating the very people your charity supports. Management needs a wake up call.

Your pricing of ‘designer’ clothing is becoming out of hand. I saw a Meshki dress on a designer rack today for 50 dollars?! Meshki is not even designer. Gone is the day of the thrilling hunt for a high quality item at a low price. This is unfair for low income earners who come to your shops to find a great deal. Rip off. Two stars because you have good parking.

Prices in here are extortionate. $75 for a blanket , $10 for a kids jumper. I am a lifetime op shopper and also a community worker and this seems obscene in one of Tassie’s most disadvantaged cities. The manager (assume wasn’t a volunteer with the attitude she had) also yelled at my kids and snatched a kitchen implement out of my 7 year olds hand.

Usually have lots of good stuff but it’s not cheap. Go across the road to Kmart if your goal is affordable clothing. But if you want to find some gems this is a good place to look.

Large store, very good variety of options. They have designer rack and really good ones. Although they are a bit pricey compared to other vinnies store.
