Shocking service Indian girl with short hair avoided at all costs to serve me as her colleague had another till open. When I approached she made every effort to make it difficult. My Woolworths rewards card wouldn’t scan she made me read it out still didn’t work and then said in no uncertain terms ‘move over to other counter.’ The owners of these stations are better allowing us to pay at bowser or with robots so we don’t have to deal with these workers who have no pride in themselves or the job they are getting paid for and contempt for the paying customers. Leave if your don’t want to be there.

They are clowns … called them before driving there due to having a near to flat tyre and asked if their night staff If they had air pump which they had no dam clue what I was asking for. As I was explaining to them they hug up and did not answer a call back.

Clowns is understatement of how this petrol station is being managed.

I’ve bought many parts and service items from this store for many years. They don’t always have every part but most of the time they’ve had what I needed which makes it quick and convenient. Their staff very professional. Because of this I always check with Repco before buying anything online. There have been several times where these guys were cheaper than buying at online-only auto stores.

Thank you John @ Repco Sunshine who went over and above to help me with my old Corolla that needed new battery and front light globe. Fitted new battery (took old one aswell) and changed the globe for me in searing Melbourne heat today. Absolute gentleman, thank you John! I’m on the road again champion mate.

I have bought a few parts for my car from Repco Sunshine in order to get it back on the road and each time I’ve spoken with the staff they’ve been respect and informative when I’ve needed things. I also had an issue with a part and they were more than happy to exhange it which, I was honestly concerned they wouldn’t. However, the manager was more than happy to do so and it made the whole process really really easy! I definitely recommend the Sunshine store over the other stores surrounding also simply due to the friendly way they handle things!

Purchased couple of items today. Only went in there because more convenient. Paid for items then the rude woman that served me didn’t even tell me what price was, or acknowledge me. She just turned her back and starting talking to her dim-witted work colleagues. The handful of times I’ve gone in there, they’ve always been rude anyway. I Don’t recommend. They will not have the pleasure of my business, my money or my beautiful face EVER again.

Walking past popped in to get Fin Review which they didn’t have but had a look around and what a great selection of fresh takeaway food they have! Brought Falafel wrap, spinach roll, sausage roll, cauliflower salad, pesto pasta salad, quinoa and pumpkin salad and soy latte. Coffee delicious and was given sweet little treat to accompany it which went into my mouth as soon as I was given it. Yum! Also have sandwiches, muffins, etc. Can sit outside or even a little area inside to enjoy your coffee and snack. Supermarket section has everything you’d want in a Foodworks including corn chips marketed as the hottest corn chips you will ever have, look forward to checking that out (with trepidation of course). Note the Falafel wrap was delicious and will be going back to get again! 10.2.23 nearby and literally popped in to get 1 thing and came out with 10! I tell you what they had baklava and I can’t pass up baklava! I even ignored the jam donut so I could buy.

Not many cafes around in this area and this one, which I often visit when in the area, is pretty good. The coffee, breakfasts, lunches and snacks are good. As you can see from the photos you can also pickup bread, grocery items, milk and liquor. On a nice day it’s quite plesnt sitting out the front sipping your coffee.

The service here was really good. They have given their menu a bit more variety and the fried chicken now really does rival that other big chain fried chicken place. But this chicken is significantly less greasy. As always the Ripper subs and Flayva’s are great too. Chips still solid as well.2

Food is typical red rooster quality, decent for the price. However The team working in the evening are extremely rude. They will leave you waiting at the counter and then glare at you while trying to order. Ive literally never been treated so rudely just for existing.

Very old established takeaway chicken restaurant. The building is well , showing its age, the toilets, and floors showing the endless tradie traffic on walls and floors, dirt and gease in the toilets, furniture basic and robust metal/ laminate tables marked. The food was comparable to other Rooster venues, tasty but average. ok, for a quick meal on the go.

Went to buy fried crispy chicken via drive thru., only to be told to come in instead and wait for 15 mins. Not really hungry so i didnt mind waiting. Went inside and ordered my fried chicken. After minutes of waiting and already past 15 mins. Lady said here’s your 6 chicken wings. I said those are not mine. Then she realized she gave my fried chicken to someone else by mistake. Waited again. No sorry whatsoever.

Absolutely ridiculous, me and my wife were standing around for 40 mins having ordered just one fresh watermelon juice. While their was only 2 ladies working being pumped with orders which they said had around 50 orders when we asked. We were standing so long and saw customers who came after us being served. We are understanding people and saw how busy it was but waiting around for just a fresh juice is ridiculous. They finally made us our order, when they noticed how long we were there for. Who evers managing the joint should be given a prize. Wouldn’t even think twice not to get a juice from here ever again.

15 minute wait for 2 drinks, no “sorry for the wait” or any form of conversation at all in fact. Store wasn’t too busy and there was 3 staff working – with the customers they did have serving themselves on the kiosk so they didn’t have to stop to serve anyone and yet we still waited long. Drinks not full to the top and kinda runny, I order the same drink every time so easy to notice when something is different.

I attended Boost juice at Highpoint on level 2. The ordering experience was easy and the staff member who took my order was very friendly. After ordering I observed staff spending more time chatting rather than completing what was admittedly a very busy period. The staff member who was responsible for completing the orders left her spot to hug another staff member and repeatedly berated the staff member taking orders. Multiple people served after me received their orders first and I had to go up to the counter to inquire about my order and the team realized they had just left it finished without giving it to me. There was no apology and generally a very poor experience.

Ordered 1 drink and waited 20 minutes. There wasn’t that many people waiting either. I asked twice if I had missed my order because I went to a deli after ordering. It looked like chaos behind where the drinks were being made no organisation. Two young family’s waiting for drinks after me were also totally fed up with the waiting. Ridiculous the owner needs to manage the shop.

Great little laundry place! Small, medium and large machines including one machine that is dedicated to pet items! Really clean and well maintained. You can pay by token, coin or via your phone which is super convenient. Free wifi and some parking spaces dedicated for customers. To top it off they’ve got lounges, massage chairs and a big table to sit at while your waiting—or you could pop next door to one of the best cafes in the area.

Clean with free detergent best things a about it. Other than that crowded and mad drama with people be competitive over machines. Not necessarily the business’s fault that there aren’t enough machines. It is much more expensive than any other laundromat I’ve been to, just switched to a new place that’s literally $5 cheaper per load. And no annoying music playing.

It was my first Laundromat experience and I found it so relaxing and enjoyable. Cafe right next door, I was able to read and study and get some Vitamin D. Noticed some charging ports, and the free wi-fi service. Just super cosy and wholesome. I loved it. I won’t even be getting my washing machine repaired anymore.

I mean, who would think that washing clothes could be so relaxing? Yes, whilst you wash/dry your clothes you can give the massage chairs a go.

Good prices. Also, coinless! That makes it more efficient.

It is also one of the very rare places around the area that has pet friendly washing machines (which is awesome). They have great music and it is always clean.

      Totally recommend.

YHA Ltd, trading as YHA Australia, is a not-for-profit of members trading corporation providing hostel and other accommodation, travel and associated service in Australia. It is a member organisation of Hostelling International.
YHA Ltd became a management and director controlled corporation with managers and directors now controlling the selection of successive directors and directors being able to appoint a least one-third of their number without election Directors may profit from payments but ordinary members are not entitled to a share of profits or assets. Profits are not necessarily spent or re-invested in the network of hostels or the provision of accommodation and services to members. The founder of the youth hostel movement, Richard Schirrmann, took youths away from the conditions of factories and cities to experience the countryside on foot and by bicycle and, in winter, on skis and skates, finding accommodation in barns, houses, school buildings and later designated hostels in the countryside. In the 1960s, YHA NSW recognised eight principles including "2) Every encouragement should be given to those who travel by their own effort whether they travel by foot, bicycle, canoe, horse or row or sail", "3) Hostellers should be encouraged to enjoy the bush" and "4) Rural industries ... could be visited".In recent decades, the Australian organisation changed focus and closed many hostels in rural areas and concentrated on providing travel accommodation in major tourist destinations, particularly large accommodation in metropolitan areas and coastal cities and towns where accommodation was already readily supplied. While still using the name YHA (Youth Hostels Association), the organisation no longer has a focus on providing accommodation for youths and now provides accommodation regardless of age. At the same time, the types of accommodation provided has changed from hostel to include hotel-style rooms and suites and self-contained accommodation. Having accumulated large debts on city and prime tourist location properties, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic decline in travel revenue, the organisation was forced to sell more hostels, many well below their account book value, with nineteen hostels closed.

I’m a regular who’s been supporting the Village for over 3 years and I’m appalled by the treatment me and some of my friends have received at the hands of one of the security guards working. You shouldn’t bother people resting or just catching a nap on the upper floors. Life is tough you know? Who are they harming? After 14 hours waiting at the hospital and arriving at the Village I fell asleep by accident and was treated appallingly by one of your guards. I woke up to him grinning and standing over me and mocking me. Security guards should serve to protect guests from sexual or fellow guest violence and go above and beyond to make sure guests and non-guests both have a memorable impression of the Village. ESPECIALLY regulars! Tell your guards to value your regulars as the income stream they bring is invaluable! Reception is great and go above and beyond to help and value regular and seasonal guests. Security staff should be trained to do the same to ensure lasting crucial customer satisfaction.

If I was to sum up my stay in a word it would be dissatisfying.

The room I stayed in was a 6-person dorm and made me feel very claustrophobic due to a lack of floor space, tightly packed bunk beds, a window that wouldn’t open, and an awful smell in the room (see below for image of room).

The spring mattresses were uncomfortable to lie on and the bedside socket was awkwardly positioned half way up the wall, making it difficult to position your phone when charging.

The kitchen, like most hostels was crammed at peak times, with very little space in fridges, kitchen utensils were satisfactory.

The best part of my stay was the gym, which is nicely kitted out with Rogue squat racks, dumbbells up to 30kg, an assault bike and sled push.

Had a great time here! Events are so fun and are a great way to meet people. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, big shoutout to Sandy for putting on some great events and always being around for a chat

Horrible amenities. Went down to reception because one of the fridges had turned hot and ruined our food. I went down and asked them about reimbursement for the food and they said I needed to keep a photo of my bag and an itemized receipts. Like as if we are supposed to expect the hostels fridge to become an oven and retain both of those things. When my friend and I arrived my bed had no accessible ladder and i was sleeping on the top bunk. The cleaners also left the bed without a pillow on it so I used the blanket as both a pillow and blanket.

The bar staff are quite cool. But all in all, a dump and a bad stay.

Melbourne ( MEL-bərn; Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung: Narrm or Naarm) is the capital of the Australian state of Victoria and the second-most populous city in Australia (behind Sydney), although the most populous by contiguous urban area. Its name generally refers to a 9,993 km2 (3,858 sq mi) metropolitan area known as Greater Melbourne, comprising an urban agglomeration of 31 local municipalities, although the name is also used specifically for the local municipality of City of Melbourne based around its central business area.
The metropolis occupies much of the northern and eastern coastlines of Port Phillip Bay and spreads into the Mornington Peninsula, part of West Gippsland, as well as the hinterlands towards the Yarra Valley, the Dandenong Ranges, and the Macedon Ranges. Melbourne has a population over 5 million (19% of the population of Australia, as of the 2021 census), mostly residing to the east of the city centre, and its inhabitants are commonly referred to as "Melburnians".The area of Melbourne has been home to Aboriginal Victorians for over 40,000 years and serves as an important meeting place for local Kulin nation clans. Of the five peoples of the Kulin nation, the traditional custodians of the land encompassing Melbourne are the Boonwurrung, Wathaurong and the Wurundjeri peoples. A short-lived penal settlement was built in 1803 at Port Phillip, then part of the British colony of New South Wales. However, it was not until 1835, with the arrival of free settlers from Van Diemen's Land (modern-day Tasmania), that Melbourne was founded. It was incorporated as a Crown settlement in 1837, and named after William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne, who was then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. In 1851, four years after Queen Victoria declared it a city, Melbourne became the capital of the new colony of Victoria. During the 1850s Victorian gold rush, the city entered a lengthy boom period that, by the late 1880s, had transformed it into one of the world's largest and wealthiest metropolises. After the federation of Australia in 1901, Melbourne served as the interim seat of government of the new nation until Canberra became the permanent capital in 1927. Today, it is a leading financial centre in the Asia-Pacific region and ranked 32nd globally in the March 2022 Global Financial Centres Index.Melbourne is home of many of Australia's best-known landmarks, such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the National Gallery of Victoria and the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building. Noted for its cultural heritage, the city gave rise to Australian rules football, Australian impressionism and Australian cinema, and has more recently been recognised as a UNESCO City of Literature and a global centre for street art, live music and theatre. It hosts major annual international events, such as the Australian Grand Prix and the Australian Open, and also hosted the 1956 Summer Olympics. Melbourne consistently ranked as the world's most liveable city for much of the 2010s.Melbourne Airport, also known as the Tullamarine Airport, is the second-busiest airport in Australia, and the Port of Melbourne is the nation's busiest seaport. Its main metropolitan rail terminus is Flinders Street station and its main regional rail and road coach terminus is Southern Cross station. It also has Australia's most extensive freeway network and the largest urban tram network in the world.

Chinatown Melbourne is a vibrant cultural hub, bustling with authentic Asian cuisine, traditional markets, and colorful street art. The lively atmosphere immerses visitors in a rich tapestry of Chinese culture. From dumpling houses to herbal medicine shops, the district offers a diverse and delightful experience, making it a must-visit destination. Park @ Wilson and other parking area.. street parking hard to find. Disable accessible , All speak English, close to main trains stations and market place.

Chinatown on a Friday night in December with rain lightly falling, the lanterns brightly red and people still queuing for all the wonderful foods (hand made, fresh dumplings is my fav). Just an utter delight. I was mesmerised, I am every time. Xiexie!

Maho Magic Bar was such a great experience ?. If you purchase an additional trick, go for the prison break one, it was the most complex and entertaining one. Music during the magic tricks drowned out the magicians while they talked. I look forward to seeing them again with new tricks.

There were so many hotels, snack items and bakeries available in this lane. During the nights the lights are amazing. The view would give you the cinema effect. The cheesecake taste was extremely good in this area. Try having different items in different restaurants.

We visited Chinatown Melbourne on the 18th of September 2023. It’s lined up many Chinese eateries, and there is a museum you could visit to learn the early days when the Chinese migrate to Melbourne.
